Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for producing bags from a double-layer web of thermoplastic material with the web intermittently by a bag length between welding jaws, of which the upper one is provided with a lifting and lowering drive, feed rollers and one below the web and parallel to the lower welding bar next to this guided cutting knife, which is attached to an endless traction device running over rollers and in the cutting area of which the web can be pressed down by the upper welding bar.
- the lower welding bar is also movably supported and can be pressed down into the cutting plane by spring force, which makes additional guide means for the lower welding bar necessary.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a device of the type specified in the introduction, in which the lower welding bar can also be held fixed to the frame without a collision of the web with the cutting knife being possible outside the welding cycles.
- this object is achieved in that, for feeding the web, the preferred rollers arranged directly in front of the welding bars are provided in rows of rows of comb-like upper and lower guide rods or blow air tubes which pass through in annular grooves and between them the web lies between the opened welding bars in an area above the knife path Pass through the plane, that the lower welding bar is fixed to the frame and that continuously rotating knives pass through the plane of the web defined by the lower welding bar during the execution of the transverse weld seam and that the lower row of guide rods or blow air tubes are provided pivoting devices in the direction of the lower welding bar, which are operated simultaneously with the lowering of the upper welding bar.
- the rows of guide rods or blow air tubes which serve to guide the web prevent the cross-guided knife from damaging the web outside the welding cycles, during which the welding bars are lifted apart.
- the upper welding bar presses the web into the cutting plane, so that the knife guided across the web clamps the web clamped between the welding bars can cut across.
- a sharp-edged pulling off of the web over the lower row of guide rods or blow air tubes is avoided by pivoting it towards the lower welding bar during the welding cycle. This avoids damage to the web or grooves pressed into it.
- the knife which is preferably attached to a toothed belt or a chain, is driven relative to the drive performing the welding cycles in such a way that the cutting knife is located outside the upper run of the traction means during the lowering of the upper welding bar, so that the cutting knife cannot engage the web, so as long as it is not stuck between the welding bars.
- Clamping or second welding bars parallel to the welding bars can also be provided, between which the knife path runs, the lower clamping or second welding bar lying in the plane of the lower welding bar.
- the cross-cut is carried out on a narrow path section which lies between two welding bars or between a welding bar and a pair of clamping bars.
- the upper run of the traction means is supported on a convexly curved support or a convexly curved slide or roller track, so that the knife executes a transverse movement relative to the plane of the track.
- a lever can be pivoted by a rocker and pivoted by a cam or eccentric drive Be provided via a push rod and a coupling derived drive, the lower row of guide rods or blow air tubes is pivotable via a coupling rod connected to the lever.
- Two side frames are connected to one another by two cross members 2 and 3 and by a fixed support 4.
- a motor 6 is screwed on, which serves to drive the drive disk 7, which is firmly wedged on the shaft 8, which in turn is rotatably mounted in the cross member 3 at its end removed from the motor 6 .
- a further shaft 9 is rotatably mounted above the shaft 8 both in the cross member 2 and in the fixed support 4.
- a pulley 10 is supported on this shaft 9, which, together with the drive pulley 7, is wrapped by a toothed belt 11.
- the shaft 9 protrudes with its end facing away from the cross member 2 from the fixed support 4, a deflection disk 12 being firmly connected to the projecting end.
- the fixed carrier 4 has a further shaft, not shown, which carries a further deflection disk 13. Both deflection disks 12 and 13 are wrapped in a carrier tape 14 (see FIG. 2), the upper run of the carrier tape 14 being supported by a curved bar 15. In a manner not shown, this curved beam 15 is screwed to the fixed support 4.
- the curved bar 15 causes the separating knife 16, which is firmly connected to the carrier tape 14, to have an arcuate course in the region of the upper run of the tape 14, so that the knife edge does not constantly cut with one and the same point, which would result in high knife wear.
- FIG. 1 It can be seen from FIG. 1 that 16 counter jaws 17 and 18 are provided on both sides of the separating knife, the counter jaw 17 being held on the carrier 4 and the counter jaw 18 on the beam 15.
- a movable welding jaw 19 and a movable clamping bar 20 interact with the two counter jaws 17 and 18.
- Welding jaws 19 as well as clamping bars 20 are slidably placed on a pull rod 21 and are rested by springs 22 and 23, i.e. in the raised position, pressed against the clamping ring 24 firmly connected to the pull rod 21.
- the pull rod 21 itself is held by a machine-fixed guide 26 and is articulated to a rocker arm 27 via a tab 25. This rocker arm is supported on a shaft 28 and can be cyclically raised by a cam 29 against the force of a tension spring 20.
- an adjustable coupling 31 is articulated at one end, the other end of which engages a lever 32 which is freely rotatable on the axis 33 of the lower feed roller 34.
- the lower feed roller 34 is provided with circumferential grooves, not shown, through which a blowing air rake protrudes, which is attached to the lever 32 is.
- the upper feed roller 35 also has circumferential grooves, not shown, through which an upper blowing air rake 36 projects. The upper blowing air rake 36 is not movable and is held by the side frames. The position of the machine shown in FIG.
- FIG. 1 shows the position in which a section of an endless web is being cut off, ie the pull rod 21 is lowered, the clamping jaw 20 presses the film against the separating jaw 18, the welding bar 19 presses against the counter jaw 17 and welds the two layers of a film tube. It can be seen from FIG. 1 that the revolving cutting knife 16 cuts through the tubular web in this position.
- the pull rod 21 is pressed upward by the cam plate 29, so that the clamping ring 24 presses against the clamping bar 20 and lifts it together with the welding jaw 19 so far from the counter jaws 17 and 18 that the connection thereafter advanced film tube no longer comes into contact with the knife 16.
- the adjustable coupling 31 is pulled downward, so that the lower rake 37 assumes the raised position shown with dashed lines, whereby the foil is raised for better guidance and guided over the rotating knife 16.
- the pivoted lower rake 37 allows the film web to be pressed down into the knife area without the risk of the film being damaged by the front edge of the rake as seen in the transport direction.
- the blown air rakes 36 and 37 are used in a known manner to discharge the advanced tubular film end into the opened welding station.

Description
The invention relates to a device for producing bags from a double-layer web of thermoplastic material with the web intermittently by a bag length between welding jaws, of which the upper one is provided with a lifting and lowering drive, feed rollers and one below the web and parallel to the lower welding bar next to this guided cutting knife, which is attached to an endless traction device running over rollers and in the cutting area of which the web can be pressed down by the upper welding bar.
In a device of this type known from DE-AS 20 05 040, the lower welding bar is also movably supported and can be pressed down into the cutting plane by spring force, which makes additional guide means for the lower welding bar necessary.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a device of the type specified in the introduction, in which the lower welding bar can also be held fixed to the frame without a collision of the web with the cutting knife being possible outside the welding cycles.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that, for feeding the web, the preferred rollers arranged directly in front of the welding bars are provided in rows of rows of comb-like upper and lower guide rods or blow air tubes which pass through in annular grooves and between them the web lies between the opened welding bars in an area above the knife path Pass through the plane, that the lower welding bar is fixed to the frame and that continuously rotating knives pass through the plane of the web defined by the lower welding bar during the execution of the transverse weld seam and that the lower row of guide rods or blow air tubes are provided pivoting devices in the direction of the lower welding bar, which are operated simultaneously with the lowering of the upper welding bar.
In the device according to the invention, the rows of guide rods or blow air tubes which serve to guide the web prevent the cross-guided knife from damaging the web outside the welding cycles, during which the welding bars are lifted apart. During the welding cycle, the upper welding bar presses the web into the cutting plane, so that the knife guided across the web clamps the web clamped between the welding bars can cut across. A sharp-edged pulling off of the web over the lower row of guide rods or blow air tubes is avoided by pivoting it towards the lower welding bar during the welding cycle. This avoids damage to the web or grooves pressed into it.
The knife, which is preferably attached to a toothed belt or a chain, is driven relative to the drive performing the welding cycles in such a way that the cutting knife is located outside the upper run of the traction means during the lowering of the upper welding bar, so that the cutting knife cannot engage the web, so as long as it is not stuck between the welding bars.
Clamping or second welding bars parallel to the welding bars can also be provided, between which the knife path runs, the lower clamping or second welding bar lying in the plane of the lower welding bar. In this embodiment, the cross-cut is carried out on a narrow path section which lies between two welding bars or between a welding bar and a pair of clamping bars.
According to a special inventive embodiment, for which protection is claimed by itself, it is provided that the upper run of the traction means is supported on a convexly curved support or a convexly curved slide or roller track, so that the knife executes a transverse movement relative to the plane of the track.
For the cyclical lifting and lowering of the upper welding bar and / or clamping bar, a lever can be pivoted by a rocker and pivoted by a cam or eccentric drive Be provided via a push rod and a coupling derived drive, the lower row of guide rods or blow air tubes is pivotable via a coupling rod connected to the lever.

Two side frames, of which only the
At a distance from the
It can be seen from FIG. 1 that 16
At the end of the
After the welding and cutting process, the
While the film is guided by lifting the
