Claims (10)

1. Apparatus for stacking flat articles which are preferably provided with locating holes and preferably consist of bags which have been severed by hot wire welding from a tubular or semitubular plastic film web and which are preferably supplied by a so-called wicketer comprising transport arms (5), which are arranged in pairs and rotate about an axis, which apparatus consists of a stacking line consisting of endless tensile means, which are trained around reversing wheels or reversing rollers and are intermittently driven and provided with upstanding stacking pins or needles (67), which are secured to carrying plates, characterized in that two stacking lines (8, 9) are provided and different tools (45, 53, 55 to 59) for processing the intermittently conveyed stacks are selectively and replaceably provided between the stacking lines (8,9) and are mounted in fixed positions relative to the frame.

5. Apparatus according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the tensile means provided on each side carry only one needle (61 ) or pin for fixing the stacks and said needle or pin is laterally offset from the stack.
