Between the two tables 32 and 33 there are two round profiles 34, 35 which are spaced but parallel to one another and which are connected to the side frames 1. In the gap formed by these two round profiles 34 and 35 and extending transversely to the direction of transport, a push rod 36 can be moved in by means of two piston-cylinder units 37, so that the stack assumes the position shown in FIG. 2 after the push rod has been pushed into the gap. After this has been done, the carriage moves from the position shown in FIG. 2 to the right up to the end of the guide slot 11, as a result of which the stack is tumbled through the two round profiles 34 and 35 and the push rod 36. This flexing creates relative movements between the individual bags of the stack, as a result of which the cold blocking produced by the punching process is canceled again.

Claims (2)

1. A process of eliminating the joints formed by blocking between cut edges by the diecutting of stacks of flat workpieces of synthetic thermoplastics, preferably plastic bags, characterized in that the stacks are engaged at their leading edges and after the diecutting at least their trailing portions provided with the punched holes are pulled with progressive deflection over at least one backing edge.
2. Apparatus for carrying out the process according to claim 1 comprising a conveyor for conveying the stacks to a position between the diecutting tools, characterized in that the conveyor comprises a truck (9) or the like, which is provided with gripping jaws (26, 27) for clamping each stack (28) which is to be punched, which truck is movable between a position for receiving the stacks (28) and a position for delivering the stacks, two rods (34, 35) are disposed behind the diecutting tool (13, 15) in the direction of conveyance of the truck (9) above the plane of conveyance of the stack and extend transversely to the direction of travel, and a rod (36), which is adapted to be lifted and lowered and extends through the plane of conveyance, is adapted to be introduced between said two rods.
