Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sealing profile according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a sealing profile is known from DE-A-28 33 345.
  • This profile has proven itself for tunnel construction and for shaft systems when using segments (tubbings) made of concrete, steel or reinforced concrete.
  • segments made of concrete, steel or reinforced concrete.
  • the further development in the design of tunnel tubes and the like has placed additional requirements on such sealing profiles made of rubber or rubber-like material. It is desirable that the sealing profiles are kept narrower in relation to the wall thickness of the segments, but without reducing the contact surfaces of the sealing profiles. A large support surface for the segments should be retained in order to avoid increased stress on the segments as much as possible.
  • profiles for this purpose should also be able to withstand stresses from solvents, oils and fats, so that the intended bonding of the profile in the groove of the segment is sufficiently secure.
  • the wall thickness within the profile is of different sizes, so that this results in an unfavorable force-displacement behavior.
  • the profile lying in the segment groove should only have such a positive volume that it fits fully into the groove when the segments are pressed together.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a sealing profile of the design described at the outset which, with secure bonding and a relatively narrow width or with a minimum volume, enables uniform deformation of all spatial elements of the profile.
  • the profile has four groove grooves and three channels, the groove grooves and channels being arranged so that the wall thickness of the profile in cross section is almost the same everywhere and that the side flanks that adjoin the base side, have an angle of 100 to 110 ° to the base side.
  • Rubber mixtures which largely meet the other requirements can be used.
  • a rubber mixture based on polychloroprene or nitrile rubber can preferably be used if aggressive gases or liquids are to be expected.
  • a high resistance to aging is an important side effect even under the state of deformation.
  • high resistance to aging can also be achieved by using a mixture based on EPDM (ethylene propylene diene rubber).
  • the level of the maximum width of the profile also represents the parting plane for the channels and grooves. Furthermore, the width of the flat back surface of the profile is 70 to 80% of its maximum profile width. The profile has a Shore A hardness of 40 to 70 °. Each segment receives a suitable frame made of four joined sealing profiles, whereby the four frame corners of the seal are manufactured using the injection molding process.
  • the invention is described in connection with an illustration, for example.
  • the figure shows a cross section through two segments, in the grooves of which annular sealing profiles according to the invention are arranged in the not yet pressed state.
  • the two segments (1) and (2) each have a groove (3) and (4).
  • Two sealing profiles (5) and (6) are glued into these grooves back to back.
  • Each of these sealing profiles has four groove grooves (7), (8), (9) and (10) on the base side.
  • the profile also has three channels (11), (12) and (13). The groove grooves as well as the channels are at the same distance from each other.
