Die Innenfläche des Mantels 10, an der die Auskleidung 20 mit ihrer Außenfläche lückenlos anliegt, hat zwei einander gegenüberliegende konvexe achsnahe Bereiche 12 von ungefähr sinusförmigem Verlauf und zwei konkave Bogen 18, die annähernd halbkreisförmig sind, im Bereich der Hauptachse 14 jedoch etwas abgeflacht sind. Die elastische Auskleidung 20 hat zwei Dickenminima 30, die auf den zusammenfallenden Hauptachsen 14 und 24 liegen, vier Dickenmaxima 32, die paarweise auf den ebenfalls zusammenfallenden Querachsen 16 und 26 liegen, sowie zwei zusätzliche Dickenminima 36 an den Mittelpunkten 111 und VII der achsnahen Bereiche 22.In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the lining 20 has a double-helical inner surface 22, 28 which as such corresponds to that shown in FIG. 1. Claims (5)

1. A stator for eccentric worm pumps, comprising a rigid tubular casing (10) the inner surface (12, 18) of which forms a multiple thread, further comprising an elastic lining (20) which lies against the casing (10) throughout the axial length thereof, is symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal center axis (A) of the stator, and has an inner surface (22, 28) which likewise forms a multiple thread and in cross section consists of a number of sections (22) near the axis equalling the number of courses of the thread and an equally great number of concave arcs (28) bordering on the sections (22) near the axis by continuous transitions (II, IV, VI, VIII), the lining (20) having a minimum thickness (30) each at the concave arcs (28), characterized in that the thickness of the lining (20) increases continuously in the respective direction in which the rotational and translational motions add of the associated rotor (34), at least from the middle of the section (22) near the axis up to a maximum thickness (32) at the transition into the concave arc (28), and decreases continuously down to a minimum thickness (30) in the area of the concave arc (28).
2. The stator as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the inner surface (12, 18) of the casing (10) and the inner surface (22, 28) of the lining (20) are geometrically similar but staggered with respect to each other by 5 to 15° around the longitudinal center axis (A).
3. The stator as claimed in claim 2, characterized in that the inner surface (12, 18) of the casing (10) and the inner surface (22, 28) of the lining (20) are staggered with respect to each other by 8 to 12°.
4. The stator as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the thickness of the lining (20) has a minimum value (30) each in the middle (I, V) of its concave arcs (28) and another minimum value (36) in the middle (III, VII) of each section (22) near the axis.
5. The stator as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the additional minimum values (36) of the thickness of the lining (20) are not greater than the minimum values (30) in the middle (I, V) of the concave arcs (28).
