Damit wird die Ventilklappe 15 durch den anstehenden hydrostatischen Wasserdruck gegen ihren Ventilsitz gepreßt und die Durchflußöffnung 17 in der Ventilträgerplatte 12 geschlossen. Das aus dem Waschmitteleinspülkasten 2 in den Laugenbehälter 5 eingespülte Waschmittel verbleibt somit im Laugenbehälter 5 und kann sich nicht in das Ablaufsystem der Waschmaschine absetzen. Als besonders zweckmäßig ist es dabei, vor Beginn der Frischwasserzufuhr in den Laugenbehälter 5 zuerst die Laugenpumpe 8 kurzzeitig in Betrieb zu setzen. Die Dauer des Inbetriebsetzens der Laugenpumpe 8 wird dabei so gewählt, daß das aus dem Laugenbehälter abzupumpende Restwasser m[t Sicherheit in den im Ablaufschlauch 9 an dessen höchster Stelle vorgesehenen Sammelraum bzw. Zusatzbehälter 10 gepumpt wird. Claims (4)

  1. Drum-type washing machine (1) with a program control device, a laundry drum (4) rotatably mounted in a lye container (5), a device (2) for adding powdered and/or liquid washing agent, and a lye container (5), which is connected to a drainage system, which consists of a drainage nozzle (6), a lye pump (8) and a drainage hose (9), wherein a valve device (11) is mounted in the drainage nozzle (6) to seal the latter while the treatment agent is being flushed in, and is held in the closed position in the drainage system by hydrostatic water pressure, in which case the pressure to the valve device is increased before the addition of washing agent and before the start of fresh water supply to the lye container, characterised in that, in order to increase the pressure to the valve device (11), the lye pump (8) is briefly actuated by the program control device and in that, in the drainage hose (9), a liquid collecting chamber (10) is provided, which increases the capacity of the drainage system.
  2. Drum-type washing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that the liquid collecting chamber (10) or a capacity enlargement of the drainage hose (9) is provided at its highest point.
  3. Drum-type washing machine according to claim 1, characterised in that the valve device (11) is formed of a resilient valve flap (15) which is known per se, and which is mounted on a valve support plate (12) centred in the concertinatype drainage nozzle (6) with a through-flow aperture (17).
  4. Drum-type washing machine. according to claim 3, characterised in that, in the resilient valve flap (15) a slot aperture (16) is formed, with which the valve flap (15) is fixable to a mushroom (14) formed on the valve seat side (13) of the valve support plate (12) by buttoning up or on.
