Definitions
- the invention relates to a watch according to the preamble of claim l.
- Such watches are commercially available.
- the invention has for its object to design a watch of the generic type in such a way that it fulfills a new purpose, in particular in terms of a new design and decorative effect, thereby making it possible to meet increased requirements for its operating and reading accuracy as well as in different configurations from a few basic elements can be created.
- a version as a wall clock as well as a version as another time-indicating device results in a completely unfamiliar one , peculiarly interesting impression due to the unusual, equally long design of the hour and minute hands (and possibly also the second hand), which are clearly different in width; especially if, according to a further development of the invention, these hands are located radially inside or outside those located just below the plane of the watch glass
- Rotate minute scale in a flat cylindrical or circular depression, the bottom of which corresponds to the dial level of conventional watch designs.
- the most interesting of the hands for reading a watch (usually the minute hand) can run radially next to the minute track in its plane or end, which enables a practically parallax-free reading.
- a uniform base body is preferably provided for the construction of this watch, the dial area of which is determined by the position and dimensioning of an annular disk which bears the scale of the minute track, which can be easily replaced in accordance with the current aesthetic requirements and surrounds a depression in which the hands rotate.
- dial ring disk is alternatively arranged under the watch glass, which also spans this disk, or else in the plane of the watch glass, radially outside the circumference.
- the central interior of the dial area can be concealed by an exchangeable cover in the bottom plane of the depression, within which the hands of preferably the same length rotate with a clearly different width.
- the clock with such a basic body can e.g. can also be used as a built-in module for technical clocks or, for example, in table clocks or in other items of daily use, in which it is held so that it can be removed easily, for example, by clamping clamps along the outer wall of a hollow space running in a ring behind the dial support, within which the movement for the timely movement of the pointer is positively supported.
- the clock 1 carries a clockwork 4 (so-called gear train) behind a central bore 2 in its dial 3 for the time-keeping drive of an hour hand 5 circling in front of the dial 3 and one clockwise in a direction in front of the clock 1 Minute hand 6.
- a clockwork 4 so-called gear train
- the movement 4 is held in a receiving space 7 formed on the rear of the dial 3, for example by means of screw mounting or, in the example shown, by means of detent spring arms interacting with the side wall of the movement 4.
- the dial 3 is to be understood in connection with FIGS. 1 to 4 that part of the watch design that is visible in the view of the watch 1, through its watch glass 9, under or next to the hands 5, 6 and, for example, directly printed or laminated color effects or graphic elements can be decorated.
- the dial 3 also serves as a carrier for the minute track 10 (in the sense of the minute circle scaling), which is shown exaggeratedly thick in the cross-sectional representation of the drawing for clarification.
- the minute track 10 can e.g. printed on or molded plastically or placed in the form of independent construction elements.
- the hour hand 5 and the minute hand 6 are geometrically very similar. With the identical length visible through the watch glass 9, they differ from one another essentially by significantly different widths.
- the hour hand 5, which is still generally slim, is several times wider than the minute hand 6 of the same length.
- the hour hand 5 in the area of its end is designed or decorated in a manner that differs geometrically or ornamental from the minute hand 6)
- Any second hand 11 that is present is also of the same length, but narrower than the minute hand 6.
- the minute track 10 extends there along the inner edge of the front dial area 3a, which projects from the plane of the rear dial area 3b to the viewer, that is to say to the watch glass 9, in a flange or ring shape around the depression 13.
- the watch glass 9 lies closely above this front dial area 3a, because in particular the hour hand 5 finds space in the flat cylindrical depression 13 in front of the central rear dial area 3b.
- the minute hand 6 (as the hand 5, 6, 11, which is the most information-rich for the volatile reading of the time) moves with the portion that is directly adjacent to the minute track 10 in the plane of the minute track 10, which results in a parallax-free scale reading.
- the front dial area 3a is practically no longer available, namely radially shrunk onto a narrow circumferential ring for clamping the watch glass 9 in the area above the axially parallel landings 16, the clockwork space 7 and the pointer planes - depressions surround 13.
- the minute track 10 is now not arranged outside the area over which the visible parts of the pointers 5, 6 pass, but within this area; specifically on a radially enlarged cover plate 14 compared to the embodiment according to FIG. 1.
- this cover plate 14 is no longer on the visible side of the watch glass 9, but on the back, contrary to the conditions of FIG. 1.
- the function of this cover disk 14, which carries the minute track 10, can also be realized in that in the central area of the watch glass 9 there is provided a printing or lamination which is appropriately equipped with the division of the minute track 10 and, if appropriate, with the numerals.
- the larger cover disk 14 is also advantageous because it can conceal balancing extensions beyond the inner ends of the pointer; so that balanced long hands 5,6,11 can be used, which can be driven from a low-power electronic work 4.
- the visible parts of the hands 5, 6 have the same length with a clearly different width, which extends up to the wall 16 of the countersink 13. Due to the cover plate 14 of relatively large diameter according to FIG. 2, the hands 5, 6 (and possibly 11), as can be seen from FIG. 3, appear to the viewer through the watch glass 9 as spokes, which form a trench-shaped circular ring (13) between the Radially span the minute track (10) and the depression wall 16. If, in any case, the disk 14 dips down with the ring-shaped edge region carrying the minute track 10 into a plane laid into the depression 13, the minute hand 6 can again have a graduated course in the interest of reading parallax-free in order to run next to the minute track 10 in its plane (not included in the drawing).
- the clock 1 shown does not have to be a wall clock; it can also be the functional insert (with movement 4 and hands 5, 6, 11) equipped in wall, table or grandfather clock housings or time switches, i.e. time display devices of various designs.
- the energy source in the form of a battery can be arranged in a known manner directly in the movement 4, or else in another area of the surrounding housing; if it is not replaced by another energy source, such as in particular solar cells for operating the clockwork 4 via a memory.
- the clock 1 according to FIGS. 4 and 5 also has a clockwork 4, i.e. the gear train for the time-keeping drive of an hour hand 5 circling in front of the dial carrier 21 and one in the direction of view, behind a central bore 2 in its dial carrier 21 the clock 1 rotating in a plane lying in front of it, minute hand 6.
- the movement 4 is held in a receiving space 7 formed on the rear of the dial carrier 21, for example by means of screw mounting or, in the example shown, by means of opposite parts of the side wall of the movement 4, overlapping locking spring arms 8 made of flexible plastic which are preferably integrally formed in one piece on the base body 22 designed as a dial carrier 21.
- the base body 22 serving as the dial carrier 21 is of identical design.
- An annular disk-shaped dial 3 for receiving the minute track 10 is arranged within the edge 23 of a base part 27 which is drawn into the plane of the watch glass 9 in the manner of a plate; whose inner edge 12 determines the clear outer diameter of the depression 13 visible from the front through the watch glass 9, in which the pointers 5, 6, 11 are held and moved by their shafts 15 mounted in the movement 4.
- the watch glass 9 is held with its periphery 25 in a form-fitting manner in the edge 23 of the base body 22 projecting axially parallel, for example radially snapped into a circumferential recess 26.
- the ring-shaped dial 3 the outer diameter of which corresponds approximately to the diameter of the watch glass periphery 25, is placed within the rim 23 on the circumferential base part 27, which borders the pointer indentation 13.
- the minute track 10 is formed on the visible surface of this dial 3, for example printed, embossed or represented by raised structural parts.
- the minute track 10 can be provided to form the minute track 10 on the visible surface of the base part 27, that is to say to design this surface as a dial 3;
- the embodiment considered in the drawing with a separately usable ring-shaped dial 3, however, has the considerable advantage that, with the rest of the same design of the watch 1 (in particular therefore its rear base body 22), it is possible to create very different design variants at low cost by simply using different graphics designed or colored dials 3 are kept available and, if necessary, are used within the base edge 23; before the watch glass 9 (a slightly elastic-deformable synthetic glass) is snapped on.
- at least the ring area of the glass 9 running above the minute track 10 can be matted or coated with an antireflective lacquer known from technical optics.
- an offset 34 can be formed on the inner edge 12 of the annular dial 3, which conceals the depression wall 16 and presses the aperture 30 against the depression bottom 32 as a short hollow cylinder wall in an axis-parallel extension.
- This all-round offset 34 which is expediently formed in one piece with the dial 3, preferably has the same color design on its inner surface or visible surface as the visible side of the dial 3; so that there is no aesthetically disturbing interruption along the depression wall 16 towards the bezel 30, which in turn is designed, for example, in contrasting color to the dial 3.
- the annular disk-shaped dial 3 is no longer latched under the plane of the watch glass 9, but rather approximately in its plane in the arched edge 23; and the watch glass 9 (corresponding to the smaller diameter of its periphery 25) is in turn latched into a corresponding circumferential recess 35 at the transition from the inner edge 12 of the dial 3 to its circumferential offset 34.
- the watch 1 therefore appears smaller with the same diameter of the base body 22 because the minute track 10 lies outside the periphery 25 of the watch glass 9 and thus in a ring area, the surface of which can be structured significantly differently than a watch glass 9 .
- a flat wall clock 1 of the type shown is preferably enclosed by a packaging for sales, which clears the view of the watch glass 9 through a clear wall of vision.
- a packaging for sales which clears the view of the watch glass 9 through a clear wall of vision.
- it can be expedient as only shown in FIG. 5, takes into account the outer surface of the cylindrical projecting rear part of the base body 22 with mutually offset or opposite (or also circumferential) recessed grips 36, in which the fingertips find a secure hold when the watch 1 is to be inserted into or removed from the packaging.

Abstract
A watch (1) with hands (5, 6, 11) rotating behind a watch glass (9) in a graduated dial area should be designed for the purpose of use by simple possibilities of very different design of the visual impression while maintaining a uniform basic body (22) and to promote an overall axially flat, simple structure. For this purpose, the dial (3) is designed in the form of an annular disk and is arranged above a base part (27) which annularly surrounds a central depression (13) within its axially projecting peripheral edge (23); alternatively below the watch glass (9) which extends to the edge (23) or in the plane of the watch glass (9) which only extends to the inner edge (12) of the dial (3). The bottom (32) of the depression (13) is preferably laminated by a disk-shaped diaphragm (30), which is axially supported by a flat hollow cylindrical circumferential bend (34) on the inner edge (12) of the ring-shaped dial (3) and in front of the pointer (5, 6, 11) of the same length with very different widths.
Description
The invention relates to a watch according to the preamble of claim l.
Solche Uhren sind handelsüblich.Such watches are commercially available.
The invention has for its object to design a watch of the generic type in such a way that it fulfills a new purpose, in particular in terms of a new design and decorative effect, thereby making it possible to meet increased requirements for its operating and reading accuracy as well as in different configurations from a few basic elements can be created.
This object is achieved in a generic watch essentially in that it has the characterizing features of
Nach dieser Lösung ergibt sich sowohl in einer Ausführung als Wand- uhr wie auch in Ausführung als sonstiges zeitanzeigendes Gerät (z.B. in der Ausgestaltung von Konsumuhren als Armband- oder als Weckeruhren bzw. in der Ausgestaltung von technischen Uhren, etwa als Schaltuhren) ein völlig ungewohnter, eigenartig-interessanter Eindruck durch die unübliche gleichlange Ausbildung der sich in ihrer Breite deutlich voneinander unterscheidenden Stunden- und Minutenzeiger (und gegebenenfalls auch des Sekundenzeigers); zumal wenn diese Zeiger gemäß einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung radial innerhalb oder außerhalb der dicht unter der Ebene des Uhrglases gelegenenAccording to this solution, a version as a wall clock as well as a version as another time-indicating device (e.g. in the design of consumer watches as wristwatches or as alarm clocks or in the design of technical clocks, such as time switches) results in a completely unfamiliar one , peculiarly interesting impression due to the unusual, equally long design of the hour and minute hands (and possibly also the second hand), which are clearly different in width; especially if, according to a further development of the invention, these hands are located radially inside or outside those located just below the plane of the watch glass
Rotate minute scale (minute scale) in a flat cylindrical or circular depression, the bottom of which corresponds to the dial level of conventional watch designs. The most interesting of the hands for reading a watch (usually the minute hand) can run radially next to the minute track in its plane or end, which enables a practically parallax-free reading. A uniform base body is preferably provided for the construction of this watch, the dial area of which is determined by the position and dimensioning of an annular disk which bears the scale of the minute track, which can be easily replaced in accordance with the current aesthetic requirements and surrounds a depression in which the hands rotate.
Particularly striking differences result from the same basic design if the dial ring disk is alternatively arranged under the watch glass, which also spans this disk, or else in the plane of the watch glass, radially outside the circumference. The central interior of the dial area can be concealed by an exchangeable cover in the bottom plane of the depression, within which the hands of preferably the same length rotate with a clearly different width.
The clock with such a basic body can e.g. can also be used as a built-in module for technical clocks or, for example, in table clocks or in other items of daily use, in which it is held so that it can be removed easily, for example, by clamping clamps along the outer wall of a hollow space running in a ring behind the dial support, within which the movement for the timely movement of the pointer is positively supported.
- 1 shows a wall clock, partly in broken side view, partly in cross section, in which the equally long hands run within the minute track in a countersink on the dial,
- 2 in a view corresponding to FIG. 1 with a broken view, a modified clock in which the hands are visible outside the minute track,
- 3 a clock corresponding to FIG. 2 in the view,
- Fig. 4 in section a watch with the entire visible surface covering watch glass and
- Fig. 5 while maintaining the main body of Fig. 1, a clock with a radially outside of the watch glass rotating dial washer.
The
In the example case according to FIG. 1, the
The
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, a
In the modified embodiment according to FIG. 2, the
In the embodiment of FIG. 2, this
The
The
The
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the
In the interest of a visually appealing, (according to the
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 5, contrary to the conditions in FIG. 1, the annular disk-
This results in a significantly different aesthetic impression compared to FIG. 4 with the same basic structure, since the size of the
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, the
