Abstract

A device for retaining snow and intended to be mounted on roofs or similar inclined surfaces comprises two section bars (12) spaced from each other and presenting at least one longitudinal wall (14) and connected by a web (11) extending between said walls. Dann bildet der untere Winkel eine Wasserrinne, in weicher das Wasser stehen bleibt und Korrosionen erzeugt. Angesichts dieser Gegebenheiten hat sich der Erfinder das Ziel gesetzt, ein korrosionsarmes, auf einfache Weise herzustellendes und problemlos montierbares Element geringen Gewichts zu fertigen, was erfindungsgemäß dadurch erfolgt, daß die Profile als Hohlprofile mit keinerlei nach außen abstehenden Teilen ausgebildet und mit dem Profilsteg einstückig auf dem Wege des Strangpreßens aus Aluminium oder einer Aluminiumlegierung hergestellt sind.
