Description

The invention relates to a winch with a plurality of cable drums connected to one another in terms of drive, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Such a winch is known from GB-A-20 53 833, where the individual cable drums are attached to a support structure via U-shaped brackets.

Another winch of a similar type is known from DE-B 26 04 534 and is used in a lifting and lowering station of a monorail system. In the known winch, the cable drums are supported by roller bearings on a drive shaft, which in turn is supported by roller bearings in a supporting structure. As a result, the storage effort is unnecessarily large, and the cable drums are only intended for certain purposes. This effort is probably justifiable for lifting and lowering stations within a conveyor system, but not for the many other possible applications of winches.

The object of the invention is therefore to design a winch in such a way that it can be manufactured, supported and used with little effort. This object is achieved in that the holder is designed as a closed housing on five sides, in the side surfaces of which the cable drum is mounted, and in that several side surfaces of the housing are provided with fastening bores via which it can be connected to the supporting structure. With the help of the mounting holes, which can be provided with threads or inserted into the set nuts, the housing of the cable drums can be attached at different locations without additional bearings being required for the power transmission.

The housing can consist of two halves welded together, the weld joint running perpendicular to the opposite side surfaces with bearings for the cable drum axes and thus not affecting the bearing points. Such a housing is easy to manufacture as a pressed part and also has pressed-in bearing surfaces and stop surfaces for the roller bearings. An axis for axially displaceable rope guidance is guided through the fastening bores located opposite one another at the rope inlet, parallel to the rope drum axis. The mounting hole for the axle is the same as the other mounting holes for attaching the housing to the support structure and therefore does not require a special operation. If all mounting holes are provided with threads or set nuts anyway, screws that hold a tubular axis can also be screwed into the mounting holes for the axis. The axis can also be guided through smooth mounting holes and secured outside the housing with snap rings against axial displacement.

The cable guide itself is a simple, with a hole on the axis sliding, provided with a cable inlet slot, which has a pressure roller on the cable above the hole and on which a slide block is inserted below the hole into the cable groove of the cable drum. The rope pulley and slide block jointly cause the rope guide to move without tilting when the rope drum is turned. To prevent accidental loosening of the rope from the rope drum when the load hook is not under load, there are several safety plates covering the rope, which are welded to one half of the housing before the halves of the housing are welded together. Since the axis of the cable drum is part of the cable drum and protrudes into both halves of the housing, the cable drum must already be arranged in the housing when the halves of the housing are welded together. After the housing has been welded together, the cable can be fastened to the outside of the cable grooves with one or more hook screws. This assembly can be carried out well if the intended fastening point for the hook screws is on the lower, open side of the housing.

The mounting holes on the different sides of the housing make it possible for the housings of two cable drums to lie against one another with their side faces and to be connected to one another via screws passed through both housings. A common, toothed shaft then leads through the cable drums provided with internal toothing. However, two housings can also lie against one another with their end faces and be fastened to one another by means of screws, the shafts of the cable drums lying parallel to one another being connected to one another via a gear. Gears, toothed belts or other gear designs are suitable as gears. For some tasks, it may be useful that the cable guides of two screwed housings are directed in opposite directions. The housings can be attached to one another via the supporting structure. In addition, they can be connected to one another via tabs. Two adjacent winches can be provided with separate ropes and load hooks or have a common rope that is guided around a bottom block with rope hooks.

The rope drum 5 is. 5 shows, with its cable drum axis 5a via bearings 7 in pressings le of the housing 1 and secured with snap rings 8 against lateral displacement. The rope 6 is fastened with a plurality of hook screws 9 in the outer rope groove 5c and is guided through a rope inlet slot 10a of a rope guide 10, the support body 11 of which is guided on a shaft 14 with a bore 11. This is mounted above the rope inlet in fastening bores 2 of the side surfaces 1a of the housing 1 and pushes the rope guide 10 sideways when the rope drum 5 is rotated and is supported by a pressure roller 12 pressing on the rope 6 and a sliding block 13 protruding into the rope groove 5c when the rope drum is rotated 5 taken away. The axis 14 is held on both ends with retaining rings 14a in the mounting holes 2 of the housing 1. A release of the cable 6 from the cable grooves 5c is prevented by cable securing plates 15, which are welded to the housing half 1A before the housing 1 is welded together.
