Abstract

1. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Dekormaterial, welches auf ein zu dekorierendes Material, z. B. Textilmaterial, applizierbar ist, mit einer Trägerfolie und einer mittels Siebdrucktechnik musteförmig aufgebrachten Schmelzklebstoffschicht. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Dekormaterial, applizierbar auf ein zu dekorierendes Material, z. B. Textilmaterial, mit einer Trägerfolie und einer mittels Siebdrucktechnik musterförmig aufgebrachten Schmelzklebstoffschicht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf eine Dekorfolie, die zumindest eine Trägerfolie und eine Effektschicht umfaßt, auf der der Trägerfolie gegenüberliegenden Seite eine Schmelzklebstoffschicht musterförmig mittels Siebdrucktechnik aufgebracht ist, wobei die Effektschicht eine solche Dicke aufweist, daß sie beim Abziehen der Trägerfolie nach dem Applizieren an der Grenze zwischen Schmelzklebstoff-beschichteten Bereichen und nicht mit Schmelzklebstoff-beschichteten Bereichen reißt. Claims (7)

1. A decorative material applicable to a material to be decorated, e.g. textile material, having a carrier sheet and a melt adhesive layer applied in a pattern by means of the screen printing technique, characterized in that a melt adhesive layer (2) is applied in a pattern by means of the screen printing technique to the side opposite the carrier sheet (3) of a decorative sheet comprising at least a carrier sheet (3) and an effect layer (6), the effect leyer having a thickness such that when the carrier sheet (3) is removed after application the effect layer (3) tears at the boundary between areas coated with melt adhesive and areas not coated with melt adhesive.
2. The decorative material of claim 1, characterized in that a liquid binding agent (7) is applied in a pattern to the decorative sheet by means of the screen printing technique, and particulate melt adhesive is then applied across the surface so as to stick to the areas provided with binding agent and be capable of being removed from the areas not provided with binding agent.
3. The decorative material of claim 1, characterized in that a melt adhesive dispersion is applied in a pattern to the decorative sheet by means of the screen printing technique and dried.
4. The decorative material of any of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a conventional embossing sheet is used as the decorative sheet.
5. The decorative material of any of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a sheet coated with gold leaf is used as the decorative sheet.
6. The decorative material of any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the effect layer is removable from the areas of the decorative sheet not covered by melt adhesive.
7. A method for producing the decorative material of any of the above claims, characterized in that a melt adhesive layer is applied in a pattern by means of the screen printing technique to the side opposite the carrier sheet of a decorative sheet comprising at least a carrier sheet and an effect layer, the effect layer having a thickness such that when the carrier sheet is removed after application the effect layer tears at the boundary between areas coated with melt adhesive and areas not coated with melt adhesive.
