Abstract

Bei einem Schraubenverdichter für gasförmige Medien mit zwei schraubenförmig verzahnten, achsparallelen, an­ getriebenen Rotoren, mit einem die Rotoren umschliessen­ den Gehäuse, mit einer Einlassöffnung am Gehäuse für das unverdichtete Medium, mit einem an der Stirn- oder Um­ fangswand des Gehäuses angeordneten Auslassfenster für das verdichtete Medium, mit einem hinter dem Auslassfen­ ster gelegenen Druckraum und mit einer an den Druckraum angeschlossenen Druckleitung zum Abführen des verdich­ teten Mediums sind zum Zwecke einer automatischen An­ passung der Auslassquerschnittsfläche des Verdichters fol­ gende Merkmale vorgesehen: Die Querschnittsform des Auslassfensters ist unveränderlich, zusätzlich zum Aus­ lassfenster und separat von diesem führt wenigstens eine Bohrung in der Stirn- oder Umfangswand des Gehäuses aus dem Gehäuseinnenraum in den Druckraum, und in dieser Bohrung ist ein federbelastetes Überströmventil ange­ ordnet.
