Diese Aufgabe wird mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst. Das aushärtbare Verbindungsmaterial kann einen äußerst intensiven Verbund sowohl mit der, in der Regel metallenen, Schiene als auch mit dem Glas der Fensterscheibe gewährleisten. Andererseits läßt sich dieses Material so einstellen, daß es eine ausreichend hohe Elastizität hat, um unterschiedliche Wärmedehnungen ausgleichen zu können. Durch den Haltestreifen, der bei der bevorzugten Ausführungsform an zwei voneinander entfernten Stellen angebracht wird, wird eine lagegenaue Positionierung der Scheibe relativ zur Schiene und eine ausreichend große Distanzierung zwischen beiden auch in dem Zeitraum sichergestellt, in dem das Verbindungsmaterial noch nicht ausgehärtet ist. Eine metallische Berührung zwischen Schiene und Fensterscheibe ist ausgeschlossen. Komplizierte Haltevorrichtungen, die die Fensterscheibe und die Schiene während des gesamten Aushärtevorgangs relativ zueinander positionieren, können entfallen.This object is achieved with the features of patent claim 1. Bei den dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen handelt es sich jeweils um eine vertikal in einen Türschacht versenkbare Fensterscheibe 1, an deren unterem horizontalen Rand 2 eine aus Metall bestehende Schiene 3 befestigt ist. Die Schiene 3 ist in ihrem unteren Bereich zur Aufnahme von Führungsrollen etwa C-förmig gestaltet und hat oben einen U-förmigen Querschnittsbereich 4, der nach oben offen ist. Zwischen dem U-förmigen Querschnittsbereich 4 und dem Rand 2 der Fensterscheibe 1 sind zwei beiderseits der Fensterscheibe 1 anliegende Haltestreifen 5 angeordnet.
