Definitions
- These refrigerated containers generally hold 26 to 30 cold dishes on trays and are stowed in the galley until serving time.
- These refrigerated containers have a usable space for the goods, a separate room for holding dry ice as a coolant, and a heat transfer system that is in contact with the dry ice and through which a flowable refrigerant flows.
- the dry ice extracts the necessary sublimation heat primarily from its surroundings outside the usable space.
- the cooling gas mass flow cannot be increased arbitrarily.
- the heat of sublimation is obtained from rooms and through areas that are not involved in the actual cooling task, e.g. B. from the upper cover plate of the container, so that undesirable temperature gradients and unacceptably far apart temperatures build up inside the refrigerated container.
- a refrigerated container has become known from FR-A-2 188 122, in which a usable space and a separate space for receiving dry ice as coolant are also provided. There is no duct system with a flowable refrigerant at all, but the cooling takes place exclusively through the CO 2 gas sublimed from the dry ice, which is passed through the double-walled wall of the usable space and enters the usable space.
- This known refrigerated container creates a strong temperature gradient. Temperatures are lower in the upper part of the usable space than in the lower part.
- the mobile container 1 is each provided with a door 2 on the narrow sides and divided by the heat-insulating partition 3 into the utility compartment 4 for the cargo and compartment 5 for receiving an insert 6 which extends over the entire length of the refrigerated container.

- Fig. 2b only the pipe system of the device is shown in simplified form, which, pushed along the line of symmetry S-S upward to Fig. 2a up to the line Z-Z, gives the overall arrangement of the cooling system around the usable space.
- the structure of the cooling systems is the same in pairs and z. B. A 1 and B 1 and A 2 and B 2 of the same design and arranged in the side walls 10 about the axis of symmetry SS net
- Fig. 3 the cooling system is shown as a dimetric image and shows the basic structure, here that of the system B1.
- FIG. 5 shows the arrangement of the pipelines in the side wall 10 as a section along C-D from FIG. 2a.
- Fig. 3 shows the pipe system of the device and consists of a ladder-shaped arrangement lying in the side wall with oblique at an acute angle a. arranged parallel tubes 12, the horizontally lying coil 13 and a (not shown) filling valve and is filled with refrigerant including the coil.
- the dry ice 14 lies above the coils. Due to the cooling of the refrigerant, it flows down through the downpipe 15 and is distributed in the riser 16 into the parallel, oblique tubes 12 and drives the heated refrigerant in the There may also be steam bubbles, in front of them in the collecting pipe 17 and back into the pipe coil 13.
- the pipes 12, 15, 16, 17 lying in a vertical plane are, as shown in FIG. 5, in the heat-insulating layer 18 of the side wall 10 embedded and have contact with the metallic inner wall 9 with the tray pads 11, so that this serves as a heat transfer surface.
- cooling systems are made of e.g. B. copper pipes 6 x 1 mm. These pipes have a maximum permissible operating pressure of 138 bar, which is far above the vapor pressure of R 12 in a cleaning process at 80 ° C for the refrigerated container.
- the device is made of materials compatible with refrigerants.
- the cooling systems arranged symmetrically in FIGS. 2a and 2b require that the function is hardly impaired in the case of an inclination such as that which occurs when climbing.
- an inclination such as that which occurs when climbing.

Description
Mobile containers, trolleys or meal carts are used to cool food and ready meals in air traffic, referred to here and below as reefer containers.
These refrigerated containers generally hold 26 to 30 cold dishes on trays and are stowed in the galley until serving time.
These refrigerated containers have a usable space for the goods, a separate room for holding dry ice as a coolant, and a heat transfer system that is in contact with the dry ice and through which a flowable refrigerant flows.
The dry ice extracts the necessary sublimation heat primarily from its surroundings outside the usable space. In the known refrigerated containers, the cooling gas mass flow cannot be increased arbitrarily. In addition, the heat of sublimation is obtained from rooms and through areas that are not involved in the actual cooling task, e.g. B. from the upper cover plate of the container, so that undesirable temperature gradients and unacceptably far apart temperatures build up inside the refrigerated container.
A refrigerated container has become known from FR-A-2 188 122, in which a usable space and a separate space for receiving dry ice as coolant are also provided. There is no duct system with a flowable refrigerant at all, but the cooling takes place exclusively through the CO 2 gas sublimed from the dry ice, which is passed through the double-walled wall of the usable space and enters the usable space. This known refrigerated container creates a strong temperature gradient. Temperatures are lower in the upper part of the usable space than in the lower part.
In the refrigerated container which has become known from US Pat. No. 3,172,271, a complex, massive and expensive channel system is used to redirect the flowable refrigerant. The heat transfer system lies freely in the interior, so that an unbalanced temperature gradient is also established there.
The invention has for its object to develop a refrigerated container of the aforementioned type so that a uniform temperature field is established in the usable space and not, as in the known refrigerated containers, an unbalanced temperature gradient arises.
This object is achieved in that the side walls and possibly also the bottom of the usable space are double-walled and the channels of the heat transfer system are embedded in the double-walled side walls or the bottom, and in that slots are provided through which sublimated CO 2 gas flows in and that this can spread a protective gas atmosphere in the usable space.
In a further development of this solution it is proposed that two groups of tubes inclined against the horizontal are provided as the heat transfer system, the inclination of which is directed in the opposite direction.

The mobile container 1 is each provided with a
In Fig. 2b, only the pipe system of the device is shown in simplified form, which, pushed along the line of symmetry S-S upward to Fig. 2a up to the line Z-Z, gives the overall arrangement of the cooling system around the usable space.
In Fig. 2a, the inner, preferably
B. A 1 und B 1 sowie A 2 und B 2 von gleicher Ausführung und in den Seitenwänden 10 um die Symmetrieachse S-S angeordnetThe structure of the cooling systems is the same in pairs and z. B. A 1 and B 1 and
In Fig. 3, the cooling system is shown as a dimetric image and shows the basic structure, here that of the system B1.
Fig. 3 shows the pipe system of the device and consists of a ladder-shaped arrangement lying in the side wall with oblique at an acute angle a. arranged
As shown in Fig. 2a, the
B. Kupferrohren 6 x 1 mm in Betracht. For refrigerated containers of this size (approx. 1 m x 1 m x 0.35 m), cooling systems are made of e.g. B. copper pipes 6 x 1 mm. These pipes have a maximum permissible operating pressure of 138 bar, which is far above the vapor pressure of R 12 in a cleaning process at 80 ° C for the refrigerated container. The device is made of materials compatible with refrigerants.
The cooling systems arranged symmetrically in FIGS. 2a and 2b require that the function is hardly impaired in the case of an inclination such as that which occurs when climbing. When climbing z. B. is, as indicated by the angle β between Figures 2a and 2b, the slope of the
The bottom of the refrigerated container is also designed as a heat transfer surface, like a plate heat exchanger.
In the broken side B of the refrigerated container, the
