Definitions

  • the invention relates to an aerial work platform, in particular a work platform for construction workers, with a height-adjustable work platform connected to stands, the work platform having at least two spaced-apart cross-members which can be connected to one another by longitudinal members, which are height-adjustable via a rack and pinion drive and on rollers on raceways in or on the Stands are guided, and with transport wheels or rollers, the two stands are connected to each other by a cross shaft.
  • Height-adjustable work platforms are already known, e.g. from DE-B-1 904441. through which the worker can choose the working height according to the work to be carried out.
  • the known working platforms have so far only been used for special purposes and in corresponding special designs.
  • When creating buildings or doing other work on buildings, e.g. B. walls, plastering, painting work, etc. is mostly worked with non-adjustable scaffolding or with laboriously adjustable trestles and the like ..
  • Masonry in particular is therefore relatively difficult.
  • the fixed scaffolds often, e.g. B. at the walls, be rebuilt with increasing wall height. This leads to a considerable break in work.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object to provide an aerial work platform which is easy to handle and which is suitable for many purposes with a robust construction, in particular which can also be transported without great effort or conversions, the required work always being at the desired height should be feasible and the worker should be able to carry out all operations for height adjustment and / or measures for moving the aerial work platform from the work platform if necessary.
  • the aerial work platform according to the invention is very simple and robust in construction, gives the worker the opportunity to always work at the desired height and also to take all measures for the height adjustment of the work platform and / or the implementation of the complete aerial work platform from there.
  • the rack and pinion drive can be activated in any way, e.g. by an electric motor that can be operated by the worker using a corresponding actuation switch or button. Manual operation via a hand crank is also possible. Operation under load is possible, whereby the worker can remain on the platform.
  • cross shaft can be designed as a telescopic propeller shaft for length compensation or for adjusting the distance between the two stands. The same applies to the side members.
  • transport wheels or transport rollers are arranged on the cross members or on parts connected to them on a frame, which are seated in a lower position of the work platform and raise the two columns or the stand in the process, which ensures that the lifting platform is moved or transported another place does not have to be dismantled separately.
  • the aerial work platform can be lifted so that the two columns are clear of the ground even under load. For this purpose, the operator may not even have to descend from the work platform. The entire aerial work platform can then be moved in the horizontal direction.
  • each stand consists of two columns arranged parallel to one another at a short distance, the rollers being guided in lateral tracks between the two columns.
  • roller guide With this type of roller guide, they can roll off in a largely trouble-free manner and without the risk of injury.
  • Another very advantageous embodiment of the invention is that it can be expanded in a modular manner, for which purpose the cross shaft has a connecting part at at least one end and two longitudinal beams can be fastened to at least one stand or a cross member on each side.
  • any aerial work platforms can be connected to one another, with only a single drive being required. From this drive, all extension parts are then connected to the cross shaft by a corresponding connection and thus raised or lowered synchronously.
  • the cross members can be pivoted about the axes of the rollers.
  • the cross beams must have a sufficient width. So that the transport of the aerial work platform is now facilitated and also its storage when not in use, the measure according to the invention can be used a reduction in width can be achieved.
  • the axes of the rollers lie horizontally, so that the cross members can be pivoted about these axes, which results in a corresponding reduction in width.
  • the aerial work platform according to the invention can also be easily moved with a crane. For this it is only necessary that the stands or columns have suspension links at their upper ends and that a longitudinal beam can be fastened centrally above and a second longitudinal beam centrally below between the two stands or columns for transport.
  • the aerial work platform has two stands 1 which are arranged at a distance from one another and each have a cross member 2.
  • the cross members have openings at their ends into which the longitudinal members 3 can be inserted, or hooks into which the longitudinal members 3 can be hung with eyelets (FIG. 2).
  • eyelets FIG. 2.
  • a frame 28 projecting downwards is arranged on the cross member 2 at its outer ends on each side, in which a plurality of transport wheels or transport rollers 29 are mounted. If the work platform, i.e. H. the two cross members 2 and the longitudinal members 3, completely lowered, so the transport rollers 29 sit on the floor. In the event of a further lowering, the two stands 1 are raised and thus come off the floor. In this way, the entire aerial work platform can be moved in the horizontal direction.
  • the height adjustment of the aerial work platform is carried out by a drive gear 30 with a rack 31. This configuration is shown more clearly in FIGS. 3-5.
  • each stand 1 consists of two columns 32A and 32B, which are arranged in parallel and closely spaced apart and have a substantially rectangular cross section.
  • the rollers 15 and 25, which are designed as profile rollers, run between the two columns. In particular, it can be seen from FIG. 5 that this also provides lateral guidance.
  • the axis 11 of the roller 15 is in turn extended and carries the cross member 2.
  • the lower impeller 25 is also supported by bearing plates 33 and 34, which simultaneously form the gear box.
  • the drive torque for height adjustment is initiated via a drive shaft 35.
  • this drive shaft 35 When driven by a motor, this drive shaft 35 is connected to the motor shaft.
  • a manual drive is located on the drive shaft 35 z.
  • a sprocket 36 which is connected via a chain to an upper sprocket 37 arranged on the stand 1 (shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1).
  • the sprocket 37 is driven by a safety crank 38.
  • a pinion 39 which meshes with an intermediate gear 40.
  • the drive wheel 30 On the shaft 41 of the intermediate gear 40 is the drive wheel 30, which meshes with the rack 31.
  • the toothed rack 31 is arranged on the outside of the two columns 32A and is integrally connected to it or firmly connected to it. If the drive gear 30 is now moved via the safety crank 38 or a drive motor, not shown, via the interposed transmission, the supporting part 19, which in this case is formed from the transmission case with the two bearing plates 33 and 34, moves together with the cross member 2 up or down, depending on the direction of rotation.
  • the drive shaft 35 has a connecting piece 42, with which the cross shaft 7, which is designed as a cardan shaft, is connected. In this way, the drive gear 30 in the gear box on the other side, i.e.. H. moved synchronously on the other column 1.
  • the gear box is designed in the same way.
  • the cross shaft 7 will also have on the other side a connection piece (not shown) which can be connected to a further transverse shaft of a part of an aerial work platform designed as a connecting part.
  • this connecting part can consist of a further stand 1 with a cross member 2.
  • the two stands 1 can be provided with crane eyelets 43 on their upper side.
  • crossbars will have to be arranged between the two stands 1 in the lower and in the upper area.
  • the longitudinal beams 3 can be used in a simple manner, which are arranged accordingly in the lower and in the upper part between the two stands 1. This is shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1 for the upper region.
  • the two pillars 32 arranged at a distance from one another can be located in the upper one Area with a horizontal crosspiece 45 to be connected.
  • the cross member 2 or the support member 19 each have an inwardly projecting shoulder 44 on which boards, beams, planks or the like can be placed as a standing surface for the worker.
  • 2 boards can also be placed on the side next to the stands on the cross beams, whereby these can also survive.
