- the conveyor gap 24 forms a passage 25 in the region of the greatest distance between the mixture conveyor 1 and the screw conveyor 22 and allows the coarse material to be separated into two fractions, ie a coarse material fraction passing through the passage 25 of smaller piece size and a larger coarse material fraction reaching the coarse material conveyor 20 via the outer edge 4 Piece size.
- the coarse material is picked up by a cross conveyor and deflected at an angle to the direction of transport of the mixture conveyor to the free end of the cross conveyor and conveyed there in different ways.
- the separating cut between the coarse material and the fine one can be adjusted very sensitively depending on the mixture consistency and thus achieve that the fine section is fed over the slide in a single-layer layer.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for presorting solid mixtures of valuable materials, in particular with high proportions of container glass and paper, with the aid of an open mixture conveyor.
Waste management uses a wide variety of treatment systems to recover the valuable materials contained in industrial and municipal waste. The municipal waste, which is often pre-sorted into household waste and wet waste, is transported in separate containers. The valuable materials from the so-called green bin consist of a mixture with high proportions of glass and plastic, in particular containers, paper, cardboard, wood, textiles and metals, which require further processing in order to separate unusable or certain usable fractions. It is precisely this which causes particular difficulties which have led to the fact that none of the known processing systems has so far proven to be completely satisfactory.
This also applies to a well-known from the British Patent 1,573,533 method in which the mixture of valuable materials is initially obtained in response to the drop height and the respective specific gravity at different speeds to a relatively strongly inclined in the conveying direction sorting belt. In doing so, the harder Due to their higher impact energy, other mixture components jump from the sorting belt back into a collecting chute while the paper is carried along by the sorting belt. However, a clean separation is not possible in this way because, on the one hand, a substantial part of the glass container breaks when impacted and is then more difficult to process. On the other hand, the impact energy of the heavier mixture components acting DA h inge starting from that the lighter constituents of the mixture are moved to the sorting belt against the conveying direction. This not only affects the separation effect, but can also lead to material jams on the conveyor belt.
Another disruptive factor are the large-volume mixture components that are sorted out by hand in conventional processing systems. Finally, difficulties arise from the fact that the dry mechanical separation only works optimally if the material to be separated is fed to it as a single-layer layer. It is a T renngutverteilung, wherein the completely independent of the Ört- I l different layer thickness in each case only a proportion of component e only fills the entire layer thickness. So far, this has not been achieved; In the conventional methods and devices for presorting mixtures of valuable materials, multilayered layers, for example in the form of a glass container on a layer of paper, repeatedly enter the sorting line.
The invention is therefore based on the object to avoid the vorer- w ä h nth disadvantages and in particular to provide a device for pre-sorting of preferably not crushed valuable substances, discards the larger volume mixture components, thus ensuring that a subsequent sorting line supplied with a single layer recyclable material layer becomes.
The solution to this problem is that in a device of the type mentioned above according to the invention above the open mixture conveyor at a distance and at an angle a preferably driven cross conveyor separating the coarse material is arranged to the direction of conveyance thereof. The axes of the two conveyors extend preferably in an optionally adjustable angle of 30 to 90 0 to each other, dec to deflect laterally and discarding, to facilitate coarse material. Large angles enable short overall lengths, although at an angle of approximately 90 ° there is a risk of smaller parts being carried away. Depending on the nature of the mixture, in particular the coefficient of friction compared to the mixture conveyor, a stationary cross deflector is also suitable as a cross conveyor, which, however, requires a small angle and accordingly a greater overall length.
Depending on the nature of the coarse material, the vertical distance between the conveyors can be 35 to 200 mm, for example 45 to 50 mm, in order to allow paper to pass through to the thickness of the telephone book or catalog. In addition, the cross conveyor can be pivoted horizontally and / or vertically and / or height-adjustable, in order to adjust the separating action to the respective coarse material and, in the event of a fault, to make the mixture conveyor sufficiently and quickly accessible. Furthermore, it has proven to be advantageous if the cross conveyor is supported in the vertical and / or horizontal at one or more stops and is under the action of a spring or a weight, on the one hand to ensure the desired working position, but on the other hand also a light one enable automatic dodging within certain limits. Reaching the limit position can be connected to signaling.
The use of a single or multi-flight, in particular conical, screw conveyor, for example with a flight depth of 25 to 40 mm and a gradient of 60 to 80 mm which may increase in the conveying direction and a diameter difference on the two end faces of, proves particularly advantageous when separating the coarse material 80 to 200 mm or a minimum screw diameter of 65 to 80 mm. The screw conveyor can be provided with scrapers which engage in the screw flights in order to keep them clean.
Particularly suitable as a cross conveyor is a belt conveyor, preferably having a driver, with a conveyor plane, for example, running at an angle to the mixture conveyor plane. Such a belt conveyor can be inclined vertically with respect to the mixture conveyor level in order to achieve a separation effect similar to that in the case of a conical screw conveyor. The inclination of the conveyor towards the end of the feed results in a certain pressure on the coarse material, which leads to an improvement in the transverse transport.
In order to prevent the penetration of separating material, the side of the belt conveyor facing the mixture material conveyor is preferably closed.
However, oscillating or pendulum plates as well as preferably provided with a friction lining, for example conical or stepped shafts, are also suitable as cross conveyors.
The cross conveyor does not have to extend over the entire width of the mixture conveyor; rather it can also end at a distance from the outer edge of the mixture conveyor, in order to create a passage in this way, the width of which depends on the nature of the coarse material. The end face of the cross conveyor should be provided with a coarse material deflector, for example a guide plate or a roller, in order to guide the coarse material around the end of the cross conveyor and to avoid penetration into the interior of the conveyor.
Particular advantages result if the mixture conveyor is designed on the discharge side as a preferably level-compensating, for example L-shaped slide in plan view. One leg of this slide can lie on the outer edge of the mixture conveyor or on the passage side. Such a slide contributes to a clean separation result and in particular protects the glass fraction of the mixture when it is transferred to a subsequent unit or to a collecting container.
On the other hand, the cross conveyor can also protrude above the mixture conveyor and end above a coarse material conveyor, which preferably transports the sorted coarse material away in the direction of the mixture conveyor. In this way, at high throughput and high speed of the cross conveyor, smooth bodies with a low coefficient of friction compared to the mixture conveyor, such as glass and plastic containers, can be thrown into a coarse material container due to their kinetic energy.
Finally, the conveying gap between the cross and the mixture conveyors can have an irregular, in particular triangular cross section. Such a cross-section results when the mixture conveyor is an angled conveyor owns space. The largest distance between the two conveyors should be between half and four fifths the width of the mixture conveyor, calculated from the drive end of the cross conveyor.

The pre-sorter according to the invention consists of a mixture conveyor 1 with a feed hopper 2 for a mixture. made of non-shredded materials on the one hand and a L-shaped,

In all the pre-sorters shown, the coarse material is picked up by a cross conveyor and deflected at an angle to the direction of transport of the mixture conveyor to the free end of the cross conveyor and conveyed there in different ways. With the help of the height of the conveying gap, the separating cut between the coarse material and the fine one can be adjusted very sensitively depending on the mixture consistency and thus achieve that the fine section is fed over the slide in a single-layer layer.
