Abstract

This device possesses a two-part handle piece (2, 3). Each half of the handle piece possesses a toothed nip roller (4, 5) rotatably mounted therein. The two halves are pivotable relative to each other about a pin (7). Since the pivot pin (7) lies eccentrically relative to the axes of the nip rollers, the two rollers are spaced apart when the halves of the handle piece are pivoted apart, which permits the introduction of a tube between the rollers. When the inner roller (5) is rotated by means of a grip attached thereto, the tube is squeezed between the rollers and hence a torque is also transmitted to the outer roller (4). This torque acts, via the axis of the roller (4), on the half (3) of the gripping piece which bears the latter, so that the halves of the gripping piece are forced to move into the closed position, as a result of which the necessary pressure is automatically generated. <IMAGE>

Im praktischen Betrieb haben sich diese Geräte als wenig befriedigend erwiesen, da sie im allgemeinen zu wenig handlich waren und auch eine beträchtliche Kraft für das Zusammenpressen der die Quetschwalzen tragenden Griff teile notwendig war. Das Gerät besteht aus einem zweiteiligen Griffstück 2,3 , wobei in jeder Griffhälfte eine gezähnte Quetschwalze 4,5 drehbar gelagert ist. Die beiden Hälften des Griffstückes sind µm eine Achse 7 gegeneinander schwenkbar und weisen je eine Oeffnung 8,9 für den Durchtritt der auszuquetschenden Tube auf. Die in Fig.2 rechte Walze 5 ist in der unteren Griffhälfte gelagert und am Ende mit einer Handnabe 6 versehen. In der oberen Griffbälfte 3 ist die Walze 4 frei drehbar gelagert. Wenn eine Tube ausgedrückt werden soll, werden die Griffhälften um ihre Achse 7 auseinandergeschwenkt, wie in Fig.2 mit strichpunktierten Linien dargestellt. Dadurch wird der lichte Abstand zwischen den Walzen vergrössert und die Tube kann mit ihrem geschlossenen Ende in den so entstandenen Spalt eingeführt werden. Die beiden Griffhälften werden dann gegen die Schliessstellung geführt bis das Tubenende zwischen den Walzen leicht eingeklemmt ist. Die Walze 5 wird nun mittels der Handhabe 6 in Pfeilrichtung gedreht, wobei die Walze 4 gegen die Tube gepresst und in der entgegengesetzten Drehrichtung mitgenommen wird. Ein wesentlicher Vorteil dieses Gerätes ergibt sich nun dadurch, dass die Schwenkachse 7 exzentrisch zu den beiden Achsen der Walzen 4,5 liegt. Wie aus Fig.2 klar ersichtlich wird beim Ansquetschvorgang von der Walze 5 auf die Walze 4 ein Drehmoment im Gegenuhrzeigersinn ausgeübt, das über die Walzenachse auch auf die obere Griffhälfte 3 übertragen wird. Das bedeutet, dass die beiden Griffhälften automatisch mit der Drehung der Handhabe 6 in ihre geschlossene Stellung gezwungen werden. Der für das Ausdrücken der Tube erforderliche Pressdruck muss somit nicht mehr durch die das Griffstück haltende Hand aufgebracht werden, was hauptsächlich für nicht besonders kräftige Frauenhände eine wesentliche Erleichterung bedeutet. Es ist ferner zu beachten, dass die Tube beim Ausdrücken durch die Oeffnungen 8,9 hindurchtritt und damit die das Griffstück neben diesen Oeffnungen haltende Band in keiner Weise in Wege ist.The device consists of a two-part handle 2.3, with a toothed squeeze roller 4.5 being rotatably mounted in each handle half. The roller 5 is now rotated in the direction of the arrow by means of the handle 6, the roller 4 being pressed against the tube and being carried in the opposite direction of rotation. A major advantage of this device is that the pivot axis 7 is eccentric to the two axes of the rollers 4, 5. As can be clearly seen from FIG. 2, the roller 5 during the squeezing process torque exerted counterclockwise on the roller 4, which torque is also transmitted to the upper handle half 3 via the roller axis. This means that the two handle halves are automatically forced into their closed position when the handle 6 is rotated. The pressing pressure required for squeezing the tube therefore no longer has to be applied by the hand holding the grip, which is a significant relief mainly for not particularly strong female hands. It should also be noted that the tube passes through the openings 8, 9 when it is squeezed out, and thus the band holding the handle next to these openings is in no way in the way.

Claims (1)
