Definitions
- the invention relates to a drive motor supplied with an energy source for disk-shaped or wheel-shaped bodies with a control device.
- the object of the invention is to provide a drive unit for wheel-shaped or disc-shaped bodies, for example in wheelchairs, bicycles and the like, which consists of an energy source with a drive motor, which may have a transmission or parts of a transmission, in such a way that it is composed of some parts of low weight and size, for example connected by cables, so that it can never be operated with one hand in any manner, especially for weak, sickly and / or physically handicapped people, without a reduction in function and performance arises.
- the invention solves this problem in that the drive motor with the disk-shaped or wheel-shaped body can optionally be brought into operative connection via a gear and can be easily detachably fixed in a rest position.
- a further external design of the invention is that the drive motor can be plugged onto the gear, which is in constant connection with the wheel or disk-shaped body, but also that the drive motor can be plugged into the wheel or disk-shaped body as a unit is, or that the drive motor can be brought into operative connection with a part of the transmission with the rest of the transmission part which is arranged on the wheel-shaped or disc-shaped body.
- the drive motor can be plugged directly onto the wheel-shaped or disk-shaped body, that the drive motor is an electric motor, that the energy source is a battery, which consists of individual battery elements which are kept separately in the mechanical structure, and that the battery elements are mutually connected are connected by means of lines and / or plug connections and can be operated with a common handle.
- the energy source is a small generator or in that the drive motor is a fuel motor.
- the transmission it is also possible for the transmission to be a transmission known per se, such as a gear transmission, a friction gear transmission, a belt or chain transmission, an articulated transmission or a hydraulic transmission.
- the drive motor with a pump unit can be arranged on a part remote from the wheel, the turbine wheel being firmly connected to the rim.
- Oil for example, is then supplied via hoses with quick-release couplings, which at the same time seal when pulled off, so that there is no loss of oil.
- a further possibility is provided by a small generator which is connected to battery elements which, in turn, indicate their energy, which is constantly supplemented by the generator, on a disc motor which is, for example, inserted centrally and directly into the rim and fixed by means of tension locks.
- the wheelchair according to the invention is thus a folding wheelchair on which an electric drive unit and the associated battery or a small generator can be mounted in a few simple steps.
- B. can be infected. It turns a folding wheelchair with its advantages into an electric wheelchair with its advantages.
- the drive unit consists of one or two motors, which are mounted on the wheel or wheels, e.g. B. be plugged in, and from the battery boxes with the control z. B. be attached to the front ends of the armrests. Steering must be provided when using a single motor.
- the parts of the drive unit are designed in terms of weight so that they sit easily in a wheelchair by the disabled or easily assembled by an accompanying person, e.g. B. can be infected or removed. This conversion option eliminates the disadvantages of the electric wheelchair that it is not foldable and therefore, and because of its high weight, difficult and certainly not loadable by the disabled in a car or other means of transport. A disabled person can therefore drive the wheelchair according to the invention electrically to his car, remove the drive unit, load it into the trunk and then get in like with a normal folding wheelchair.
- the batteries can be placed in the car so that they can be recharged by the generator while driving.
- the wheelchair according to the invention can be used in the apartment like a normal wheelchair, the wheelchair does not need to be changed when it is extended, only the drive unit is mounted or plugged in and the wheelchair user can move by means of an electric drive. This means that there is no need for a second wheelchair.
- the wheelchair according to the invention enables some of the disabled to travel by car or other means of transport for the first time without an accompanying person.
- the use of the wheelchair according to the invention compared to previous wheelchairs is by expanded the possibility of being able to easily transport it by car to a larger group of people.
- FIG. 1 shows a side view of the drive unit according to the invention as the drive of a foldable wheelchair, which is shown in a top view in FIG. 2.
- FIG. 3 shows the drive unit according to the invention on a pulling part for wheelchairs in a side view
- FIG. 4 shows the drive unit according to the invention, detached from a means to be driven.
- FIG. 5 shows a transmission integrated in a wheel, onto which the motor is plugged and fixed, in a sectional view
- FIG. 6 also showing another variant in a sectional view.
- FIG. 7 shows a variant of a friction wheel transmission as the drive means.
- Figures 8a to 8f illustrate the use of a wheelchair designed according to the invention. by a disabled driver.
- the drive device 1 consists of the battery element carrier 2 with a control device 3 and the associated handle 4.
- the battery holder 2 can be hooked with the hooks 5, 6 into various receiving slots, for example on a bicycle, wheelchair or the like. It is connected to a motor 11 via the cable 7, 8, which can be divided by a coupling (FIG. 4).
- the motor 11, which is provided with a handle 9, is connected to a shaft 14 provided with a pin, the gear 13 arranged in the rim of the wheel 12 to be driven is plugged in and fixed with a rotary lock 15 to the thread 17 on the gear housing 16 (FIG. 5).
- the gear 18 forms a structural unit with the motor 11, which is pushed onto a shaft 19 and fixed to the bearing part 20 by turning in the direction of travel (FIG. 6).
- the motor 11 and the transmission 18 can be designed as a so-called disk motor, ie as a disk-shaped motor that can be installed in the hub of the wheel 12.
- the drive of a wheel 21 can also take place in that the motor 11 is equipped with a friction gear 22, the drive wheel. 23 with the spring-loaded counter wheel 24 is pushed over the wheel 21 and the motor 11 is fixed, for example in the case of a bicycle, to its fork by means of clamp closures (not shown), the battery elements 2 and 2 'being mounted on the luggage rack and the control device 3, 4 on the handlebar be ( Figure 7).

Abstract
