Definitions
- Persistent hypothermia is harmful to health, and a prolonged, humid climate promotes mycoses, eccymes, and the like. According to current estimates, the majority of adults in our civilization suffer from foot dermatosis. Due to the increasing importance of sports and leisure activities, indoor swimming pools and saunas, there is always the opportunity to become infected.
- Embodiments of insoles or insoles have been described in various ways, for example in GB-PS-987 112. This shows an insole which has only a few large, flat ribs running across the sole. With this sole there is a risk that it will buckle or push through. This questions the proper functioning of the ventillation.
- FR-PS-2 342 041 describes a shoe sole with a profile with very different profiles. While the Swiss patent specification 306 358 shows the insole, the cross section of rectangular, spaced-apart cellular profiles is arranged on the sole held inwards. Here, too, there is a risk that the sole will buckle or push through between the profiles.
- the object of the invention is to provide an insole which not only absorbs foot sweat over the volume of the sole and surface, which forms the entirety of all the walls of the open cells or the fibers of the material, and in addition enables air movement and also acts as a pump which acts as an additional Air movement creates.
- a plurality of ribs made of a closed-pore latex foam are arranged on the full-surface layer consisting of latex foam, which have greater compressive strength than the full-surface latex foam part of the insole and that the ribs have a length of about 4 to 15
- the insole also offers good thermal insulation, so the heat conduction from the sole of the foot to the insole of the shoe is low.
- the best heat insulator is air, which is a foam with low cell wall thickness and a large number of cells, i.e. H. with the lowest possible specific weight.
- This sweat and the excess heat should be removed from the footwear as quickly as possible. Sweat and heat form water vapor. If the diffusion and water vapor storage capacity of the footwear is too low, and if the sweat cannot be removed quickly enough by convection, a warm, moist chamber with good growth conditions for fungi and microbes will form around the foot if the outside temperature is warm, or else it will result When the outside temperature is cold from the inside of damp footwear, cold feet with the consequences for wellbeing and health.
- the insole should be permeable to air, because water vapor should be drained from the sole of the foot, first straight into the shaft of the shoe, then removed from the shoe.
- too much heat does not have to be insulated, but rather dissipated during and after prolonged movement of the foot, as heat by conduction and radiation and as water vapor by convection.
- the heat radiation is insignificant due to the circumstances.
- the heat conduction on the sole of the foot has become more effective due to the damp state of the sock and sole than in the dry state.
- the least permeable or rather almost impermeable to the whole footwear is of course the sole of the footwear, which consists of the outsole, insole and insole.
- the sole of the foot is the place on the foot that is most difficult to release its sweat, which is expelled through the pores of the sweat glands, into the surrounding air.
- the sock must be briefly discussed. It is becoming increasingly common to add synthetic fibers to natural fibers or even to replace them entirely.
- the socks are less and less able to insulate heat when the foot is at rest and absorb moisture when and after walking. So they are of less and less use in solving bioclimatic problems.
- the insole is also gaining in importance.
- the smooth underside of the latex foam lies so firmly on the insole that, despite the open-cell foam from the compression of the sole when walking and its subsequent return to the old state, only vertical air movement occurs between the insole and the sole of the foot , and there is hardly any air movement in the horizontal plane.
- This phenomenon is not improved by the fact that if the underside of the foam has a structure.
- This structure always has the grid of polygonal fields, in which raised ridges, which rest on the insole of the shoe, enclose small free areas, which thus act like air cushions.
- the grid of the webs extends across the entire sole and is self-contained, so that the webs rest on the cover sole just as firmly and without interruption as a foam without a surface structure and thus prevent horizontal air movement.
- the insole 1 according to the invention is therefore no longer full-walled in its full height, but on the side facing the insole of the shoe is a number of ribs 2, which consist of latex foam, just like the full-walled latex foam sole, but are closed-pore and have sufficient strength, so that they do not flatten out completely under the load of the body weight and quickly expand back to their full size when the load subsides.
- ribs 2 are arranged in a plurality on the side of the insole facing the insole of the shoe. The arrangement is such that there is a labyrinth of cavities 3 between the insole of the shoe and the underside of the full-surface part of the insole, in which a horizontal air circulation can take place.
- the ribs are arranged so that they make up about half of the total sole area.
- ribs are arranged so that they make up about half of the total sole area.
- the ribs are arranged so that their longitudinal axes are perpendicular to each other and alternately and in turn are perpendicular or oblique to the longitudinal axis of the insole.
- the ribs can also be arranged in a different way, for example in the form of a herringbone pattern or in the form of any polygon, preferably a square or the like.
- the ribs have a length of approximately 4-15 mm, preferably 8 mm and a width of 2-4 mm and a height of 1-2.5 mm, preferably 1.7-2 mm.
- the overall thickness of the sole is between about 5.0 and 3.3 mm, but preferably the sole is about 4.0 - 3.5 mm overall thick, including the ribs.
- the arrangement of the ribs is not just on to ensure the creation of such labyrinthine cavities, but also that the ribs overlap somewhat, but have a sufficient distance between them to allow the resulting effect and thus the air circulation.
- the top of the insole, which comes into contact with the foot, is covered by a textile layer.
- the ribs can be arranged in a variety of ways, it is only necessary to ensure that, in addition to the features already mentioned above, the spatial stability of the sole is maintained everywhere, especially in the direction of the foot.
- the ribs can be more or less long, straight, curved or kinked. 1 and 1a only show examples which show an advantageous arrangement.
- Adequate bending strength of the insole is important, but only in the position as it comes into the shoe, i.e. with the fabric side up.
- the insole needs a certain amount of flexural rigidity if you want to push it into the shoe. She also needs it when she is wearing it so that it does not collapse due to the movement of the foot, especially the toes.
- the ribs require about twice as much pressure resistance as the full-walled layer of latex foam, since the load-bearing surface is only half as big as the full-walled layer. Therefore, the latex foam of the ribs has a correspondingly higher specific weight and has closed pores.
- the side walls of the ribs taper from top to bottom.

Description
Der Fuß bleibt also feucht.
- Fig. 3 einen Schnitt auf der Linie A - B der Fig. 2.
