  • the screw spindles are drivable by a motor 98 through not visible toothed belts running in a protective box 99. In this manner the pivoting motion of the frame 81 may be effected.
  • the pivoting motion in this case is dependent of the relative movement of the stamp 26 and the die 25.
  • the movement of the stamp 26, for example, can be determined in the manner described in connection with fig. 1 with a potentiometer which is coupled to a control unit.
  • the control unit controls the motor 98 in such manner that the pivoting movement of the frame 81 exactly follows the movement of the sheet material during bending.
  • the control unit subsequently may control the motor 87 in order to move the sheet material for bending the sheet material in a next desired location. Since the jaws 75 may continuously retain the end edge of the sheet material, a profile may be fabricated from the sheet material with very high accuracy.
  • the described apparatus thereby is very suitable for completely automatically bending desired profiles under control of a suitable computer.
  • the frame 81 furthermore includes a rotary platform 100 which is disposed nearly in the centre and which is movable upwardly and downwardly and which is capable of rotating the sheet material in a horizontal plane.
  • the sheet material with the jaws 75 is positioned over the rotary platform 100, whereafter the sheet material is retained thereon. This may take place for example by applying a vacuum to openings formed in the rotary platform of by a rotatably mounted clamping means pressing the sheet material on the rotatary platform 100. After the rotation of the sheet material the end edge of the sheet material turned towards the jaws 75 may be grasped whereafter the subsequent bending operations may be carried out.
  • the embodiment of the apparatus represented in fig. 4 may also be provided with a stop means 74 supported by the pivotable frame 81 as illustrated in the fig. 5-7.
  • a support is mounted and the arms 84 are pivotably connected therewith.
  • the pivoting axis of the frame 81 thereby may be adjusted in the area situated substantially between the contact zone of the stamp part 63 positioned in the working position and the contact zones of the die part 62 with the die part positioned in the working position.
  • the jaws 75 will have to follow this sliding motion.
  • the jaws 75 may be mounted so as to be slidable against the effect of a spring.
  • the motor 87 may be controlled by the control unit for moving the jaws 75 in dependency of the relative movement of the stamp 57 and the die 55. This movement in a manner as described hereinabove may be determined by a potentiometer.

Claims (12)

1. Einrichtung zum Biegen von Blechen, mit einem unteren Träger mit einem Gesenk (55), einem oberen Träger mit einem Stempel (57), der wenigstens eine lineare Berührungszone aufweist, welche das zu biegende Blech berührt, wobei das Gesenk (55) und der Stempel (57) gegeneinander bewegbar sind und der obere und/oder untere Träger mit austauschbaren Stempelund Gesenkteilen (62, 63) ausgerüstet ist bzw. sind, und mit Anschlagmitteln (74) für das zu biegende Blech, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anschlagmittel (74) an einem Gestell (81) befestigt sind, das schwenkbar am Maschinengestell an einer Schwenkachse (83) befestigt ist, welche Schwenkachse (83) sich parallel zur Berührungszone (82) des Stempels (57) und in den Bereich zwischen der Berührungszone des in Arbeitsstellung befindenden Stempelteils (63) und dem Bereich des in der Arbeitsstellung befindenden Gesenkteil (62) erstreckt, und dass das Gestell (81) an der Einrichtung mit Betätigungsmitteln (97) verbunden ist, welche die Schwenkbewegung des Gestells in Abhängigkeit der relativen Bewegung des Stempels (57) und des Gesenks (55) bewirkt, derart, dass die Anschlagmittel während der gesammten Biegeoperation mit dem Blech in Berührung sind.
2. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anschlagmittel (74) entgegen der Wirkung einer Feder quer zur Schwenkachse (83) des Gestells (81) verschiebbar sind.
3. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Anschlagmittel (74) quer zur Schwenkachse (83) des Gestells (81) in Abhängigkeit der relativen Bewegung zwischen Stempel (57) und Gesenk (55) verschiebbar sind.
4. Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei Greifbakken (75) vorgesehen sind in denen die entsprechende Endkante des zu biegenden Bleches geklemmt werden kann.
5. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gestell einen Tragbalken (80), der parallel zur Schwenkachse (83) ist sowie zwei Arme (78), die auf dem Tragbalken (80) parallel verschiebbar zur Schwenkachse (83) befestigt sind, aufweist, wobei jeder Arm (78) an seinen Enden einen Greifbacken (75) besitzt und der Tragbalken (80) quer zur genannten Schwenkachse (83) ist.
6. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gestell (81) zwei Führungsstäbe (90) aufweist, die sich parallel zur Schwenkachse (83) erstrecken und die entsprechenden Enden des Tragbalkens (80) führen.
7. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gestell (81) zwei drehbare Schraubenspindeln (89) aufweist, die sich parallel zu den Führungsstäben (90) erstrecken und die jeweils mit einer Gewindebohrung (92) in den entsprechenden Enden des Tragbalkens (80) zusammenarbeiten.

Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gestell einen Kastenträger (85) aufweist, der an beiden Enden mit einem Arm (84) um die Schwenkachse (83) schwenkbar verbunden ist, wobei dieser Kastenträger (85) einen Antriebsmotor (87) aufweist um die Anschlagmittel (74) quer zur Schwenkachse (83) zu bewegen.
9. Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Drehteller (100) vorgesehen ist, der nach oben und nach unten bewegbar ist und der das zu biegende Blech festhalten kann.
10. Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, wobei das Gesenk (55) und der Stempel (57) jeweils einen schwenkbar gehaltenen Träger (56; 58) aufweisen, welche Träger jeweils einen Gesenkteil (62) und einen Stempelteil (63) tragen, die durch verschwenken des Trägers (56; 58) in eine Arbeitsposition bringbar sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Winkelabstand zwischen dem Stempelteil (63) und dem Gesenkteil (62) grösser ist als 90°.
11. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schwenkachse (83) des Gestells (81) einstellbar ist im wesentlichen zwischen Berührungszone des Stempelteils (63) des einen Trägers (56) wenn der Stempelteil in der Arbeitsposition ist und wenigstens einer der Berührungszonen des Gesenkteils (62) dieses Trägers (56) wenn der Gesenkteil in der Arbeitsposition ist.
12. Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gesenk (55) und/oder der Stempel (57) einen Halteteil (30, 41 ) aufweisen, die auf der unteren Seite bzw. der oberen Seite einen Kanal (47) mit U-förmigem Querschnitt aufweisen, wobei das obere Ende des unteren Trägers (27) bzw. das untere Ende des oberen Trägers (28) in den Kanal eingesetzt sind und in Längsrichtung im Abstand angeordnete Bohrungen (48) aufweist, wobei die gegenüberliegenden Seitenwände des Kanals (47) bei jeder Bohrung (48) Schlitze (50) aufweist, wobei in jeder Bohrung (48) eine Achse (51) eingesetzt ist, welche Achse (51) an beiden Enden exzentrische Achszapfen (52) aufweist, die in die Schlitze (50) hineinragen und schwenkbar in Gleitblöcken (53) gelagert sind, welche Gleitblöcke (53) in die Schlitze (50) eingesetzt sind, und dass ein bewegbarer Betätigungsarm (54) zum Verschwenken des entsprechenden Schaftes an einem der Achszapfen (52) befestigt ist.
