Description

The invention relates to an operating cabin for vertical air flow, which is suspended from the ceiling of an operating room and has a filter ceiling, a wall construction for the connections to at least one supply air unit with fans and prefilter. A significant reduction in the risk of infection can be achieved with operating cabins within operating rooms, because all the air supplied to such operating cabins can be optimally pre-cleaned and brought to the outside to flow evenly through the cabin and subsequent outflow.

Recent research results have shown that there is the least risk of infection if the air flow through the operating cabin is vertical. In an investigation carried out at international level, for example, an average of two culture-forming units were found per m 3 with vertical air flow and 22 units per m 3 with horizontal air flow.

The value given for vertical air flow refers to operating rooms with walls. There are also results for vertically flow through cabins without walls. In this case, the above-mentioned international investigation showed an average salary of 10 culture-forming units per m 3 . Although these simplified cabins do not produce the same good air purity results, they are often chosen because working in a wall-mounted operating room is often considered uncomfortable.

Operating cabins for vertical air flow of the type mentioned at the outset are known in two different basic designs. In one embodiment, the side walls of the operating cabin are made in one piece and attached to the ceiling of the operating room (FR-A-2 089 467). This embodiment has the disadvantage that the size of the operating cabin delimited by the side walls cannot be changed in order to be able to adapt it to the different requirements given in different operations. In the second known embodiment, the accessibility of the operating room can be improved by the fact that at least one side wall of the operating room is at least partially formed by curtains which are suspended from an upper fixed part of this side wall (DE-A-2 449 573) . Since this known operating cabin is set up and fastened on the wall corners above feet or vertical posts on the floor of the operating room, it can only be opened to a limited extent. The operating cabin of this version can therefore not be adapted to the different space requirements in small and large operations.

The invention is therefore based on the object of designing the operating cabin of the type mentioned for vertical air flow in such a way that it can be optimally adapted to the respective space requirements in different operations, in order to achieve the highest possible degree of purity of the ventilation air.

This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1, namely in that the wall construction of the operating cabin consists partly of fixed wall parts attached to the ceiling and partly of wall elements which are detachably suspended and reach almost to the floor of the operating room. With the design according to the invention, it is possible to be able to precisely adapt the operating cabin to the various requirements that arise during the different operations. Since the wall parts are not raised on the floor of the operating room, the cabin can be opened by removing the detachably suspended wall elements in such a way that no parts remain on the sides of the cabin which would laterally limit the interior of the cabin and would hinder the operation.

Advantageous developments of the aforementioned invention are characterized in claims 2 to 6.

Ein besonders vorteilhaftes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand der Zeichnung beschrieben, wobeiA particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing, wherein

Fig. 1 die Operationskabine und das an der Kabine angeschlossene Zuluftaggregat im senkrechten Querschnitt undFig. 1, the operating cabin and the supply air unit connected to the cabin in vertical cross section and

Abb. 2 die Operationskabine schematisch in perspektivischer Darstellung zeigt.Fig. 2 shows the operating cabin schematically in perspective.

Die vom Zuluftaggregat kommende Luft wird in einer Druckkammer 4 verteilt, bevor sie das Absolutfilter 5 durchströmt, dessen Abscheidegrad hoch ist und mindestens 99,9% beträgt.1 and 2, the operating cabin is suspended from the ceiling 10 of the operating room. The supply air unit 1, which provides the operating room with cleaned air, is installed in the example shown in a room above the actual operating room. The supply air unit 1 contains a fan 2, a prefilter 3 and the necessary sound insulation devices. The air coming from the supply air unit is distributed in a pressure chamber 4 before it flows through the absolute filter 5, the degree of separation of which is high and amounts to at least 99.9%.

The fixed wall parts of the operating cabin are designed so that they are approx. 2.1 m above the floor, i.e. something above head height. These fixed wall parts 6 are provided with fastening elements 7, on which a number of loose wall elements 8 are suspended. The wall elements 8 are provided with handles 11 for easier hanging and removal. It should be noted that the selected wall construction with both fixed and removable wall parts allows a relatively short and therefore easy to use design of the wall elements.

In the example shown in Fig. 2, two of the wall elements are on one end of the operating room with through openings 12 for pass-through of instruments. The wall elements 8 end approximately 100-300 mm above the floor, so that the ventilation air can flow out through the gap between the wall elements and the floor. The operating table 9 is usually permanently installed in the operating cabin.

By designing the operating cabin according to the invention with both fixed and removable walls, it is possible to meet different requirements with one and the same operating cabin. The lowest possible bacterial content is achieved when using the wall elements 8. If the wall elements 8 are removed, on the other hand, the freedom of movement of the personnel working in the operating cabin is improved, while at the same time a low bacterial content can still be maintained.

The invention is not limited to the embodiment described above and shown in the figures, which serves only as an example, but can of course be changed within the scope of the following claims.
