Description

The invention relates to a device for fixing a foot in a shoe, in particular a shell ski shoe, with an adjustable flexible plate spanning the instep area, and an actuating element for adjusting this plate, the actuating element being designed as a tensioning device arranged in the instep area engages in the lateral or rear area of the shoe fixed tension members, and the tension members in their tensioned position at least partially overlap the outside of the plate. In the case of ski boots, it is known to provide a flexible plate in the area of the instep of the foot, and it is already known to adjust the height of such a plate through the adjusting screws passing through the shell. The pressure exerted on the plate with such an adjustment acts essentially in the longitudinal center plane of the shoe, so that the foot is pressed against the sole within the shoe. A significant improvement in the lateral support of the foot in the shoe cannot be guaranteed with such an adjustment or adjustment of the plate. A device of the type mentioned is known from AT-PS 361 807. However, the plate is adjusted here by bracing the lateral bands against one another, so that primarily a lateral pressure on the foot and in the central region of the plate no significant vertical stress occurs.

The invention now aims to improve ski boots of the type mentioned with an adjustable instep plate for the purpose of adapting to different foot shapes and to ensure that when the instep plate is adjusted in the vertical direction, the radial actuating and supporting forces are uniform and especially in the area of the plate be initiated. To achieve this object, the invention essentially consists in that the tension members at their free ends Have connection pieces for at least one further self-contained tension member (s) interacting with the tensioning device, the further tension member being arranged in the area between the connection pieces between the plate and the inside of the shell and at least partially overlapping the plate. Characterized in that the actuating element is designed as a tensioning device which engages on lateral tension members, a lateral pressing of the tension members against the plate is achieved when the actuating element is tensioned, as a result of which the curvature of the plate is adjusted by the actuating element. Thus, not only is a pressure applied to the plate in the vertical direction, but at the same time a deformation force is transmitted to the flexible plate, which results in a better enclosure of the foot. The fixing of the tension members in the lateral or rear area of the shoe simultaneously leads to a tension component in the direction of the heel area of the shoe and thus to a slight pull of the foot in this direction. The definition of the tension members on the side or rear areas of the shell or shoe allows a design in which the positive engagement exerted on the foot can be maintained regardless of the pivoting of a shaft part or a rear hinged shell part, in which case it is sufficient to fix the tension members on immovable parts of the shell or parts that remain at rest relative to the shell. Once selected, the setting of the actuating element can be retained unchanged with such a design even when the template is adjusted.

The subdivision of the tension members according to the invention into two lateral tension members and a middle tension member connecting these tension members, which interacts with the buckle, has the advantage that, in addition to the forces exerted on the lateral area of the plate, the plate deforming forces through the central portion of the further tension member applied forces exert slight pressure on the instep, which is distributed over a large area of the plate. With this design, the form fit of the plate and the adaptation to the foot is improved.

Die Festlegung der Zugglieder an den Gelenkstellen für die Verschwenkung eines Schalen- oder Schaftteiles des Schischuhes macht diese Festlegung unabhängig von der jeweiligen Einstellung der Vorlage, wie sie durch Verschwenkung der Manschette oder eines abklappbaren Schalenteiles erzielt werden kann.the connecting pieces of the free ends of the tension members are preferably arranged between the plate and the inside of the shell, preferably near the side walls of the plate, whereby pressure points on these connecting pieces are avoided, since the pressure which may form at these connecting points is distributed over the plate. The connecting pieces of the tension members can be designed in a particularly simple manner as loops or loops. The other ends of the tension members, which are fixed in the side or rear area of the shoe, are preferably each fixed at the articulation points for pivoting a shell or shaft part of the ski shoe. Such a training is particularly suitable for shell ski shoes in which a rear shell part can be folded down to facilitate entry. Ski boots of this type are generally designed to be closed in the instep area and do not have any buckles in the instep area with which an adaptation of the shoe to the foot would be possible. In the case of such shoes in particular, the use of an adjustable, flexible instep plate is particularly advantageous in order to be able to fix different foot shapes independently of the shell shape. The definition of the tension members at the articulation points for the pivoting of a shell or shaft part of the ski boot makes this definition independent of the respective setting of the template, as can be achieved by pivoting the cuff or a hinged shell part.

With such a configuration, the tensioning device of the actuating element can be designed in a particularly simple manner as a buckle, which is arranged transversely to the The longitudinal axis of the shoe is pivotally articulated in the instep area of the shoe on the outside of the shoe. Such a buckle usually has several points of attack for a tension member and it can be adjusted by adjusting the articulation point or the point of attack or by choosing a suitable point of attack on this buckle, adjusting the tension members and thus the forces exerted on the instep plate within relatively large limits achieve.

The tensioning buckle is preferably arranged in a recess in the shell, so that the tightness of the shell in the forefoot area is in no way impaired and protruding parts protruding from the shell are avoided. Only a part of the actuating element of the tensioning buckle protrudes from this recess or depression of the shell in order to facilitate the opening of the buckle.

The middle self-contained tension member, which connects the buckle to the two tension members fixed in the lateral areas of the shoe, must be passed through the shell at suitable points in order to be able to establish the connection between the buckle and the side tension members. This passage is advantageously carried out by the shell in such a way that the lateral distance between the two sections of the tension member (s) which extend in the longitudinal direction of the shoe and which act directly on the buckle at the passage point is less than the lateral distance between the connecting pieces measured perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shoe. Such a design ensures that part of the tension exerted on the lateral tension members acts as pressure in the central area, ie the area of the tension member connected to the buckle, which overlaps the instep plate. This pressure exerted by the self-contained tension member on the instep plate is evenly distributed over a large area of the instep plate, so that here too, selective overloads and pressure points are largely avoided.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. 1 shows a side view of a shoe according to the invention with the shell partially broken away, and FIG. 2 shows an analog view of the shoe according to FIG. 1 from the side from the front.

In dieser Lage der Spannschnalle 11 wird die Ristplatte 8 von Zug- und Druckkräften entlastet und nach Abklappen des hinteren Schalenteiles 3 ist ein ungehinderter Einstieg in den Schuh möglich.1 shows a ski boot 1 which has a shell 2, a shell part 3 which can be folded back and a cuff 4. The articulation point of the cuff 4 and the hinged shell part 3 is denoted by 5. At this articulation point 5, a tension member 6 engages, which extends from this articulation point 5 into the instep area 7 of the shell 2. An instep plate 8 made of flexible material is provided in the instep area 7 of the shell 2. The instep plate 8 is overlapped by the tension member 6 at its lateral edges 9. On the tension member 6, which corresponds to a second tension member 6 on the other side of the shoe, as can be seen in particular in FIG. 2, is engaged by a self-contained further tension member 10, which is guided through the shell and with one in the instep area of the Shell arranged buckle 11 is connected. The buckle 11 is designed as a tension buckle and is pivotally attached to the shell about an axis 12. The pivot axis 12 is essentially normal to the longitudinal center plane 13 of the shoe, as indicated in FIG. 2. 1, the buckle 11 is drawn in the open state. In this position of the tensioning buckle 11, the instep plate 8 is relieved of tensile and compressive forces and, after the rear shell part 3 has been folded down, an unhindered entry into the shoe is possible.

In the illustration according to FIG. 2, the buckle 11 is now pivoted into the closed position and dips into the recess designated by 14 in FIG. 1. Only the front actuating end 15 of the buckle protrudes from this recess 14 in order to facilitate opening of the buckle. In the closed position shown in FIG. 2, the lateral tension members 6 are now put under tension and press against the lateral edges 9 and adjacent areas of the instep plate 8. The deformability or flexibility of the instep plate 8 causes a better adaptation to the foot inserted into the ski boot. The middle portion 16 of the self-contained second tension member 10 causes a pressure component in the direction of the heel and it also improves the hold of the foot in the shoe. The middle tension member 10 is passed through eye-shaped ends 17 of the two side tension members 6 and these eye-shaped ends lie between the shell 2 and the instep plate 8, so that pressure points on the foot are also avoided here.

A lining material or else a removable inner shoe can be arranged between the lateral tension members 6 and the instep plate 8 and the foot in order to achieve an even better equalization of the tensile or compressive forces introduced.

The buckle 11 can be detachably connected to the articulation axis 12 in order to ensure that the instep plate 6 is completely relieved after the buckle has been opened.
