Description

The invention relates to a device for producing and filling bags, starting from a band wound on a spool, the band being directed vertically downwards and being fed parallel to the upper wall of a winding mandrel. Such bags made of flexible material are suitable for packaging granular or powdery substances, such as coffee or flour.

Devices for forming and filling bags made of flexible material are already known, in which, for example, paper foils are used to form bags by winding them around winding mandrels of a rotating ring or turret (FR-A-1 281 258). There, a section of a film is fed horizontally to the winding mandrels of a rotating ring which is arranged on a horizontal plane. The sensitivity of the material and the instability of the horizontal arrangement of the section or sheet to be wrapped limit the reliability and productivity of the currently commercially available device. Furthermore, these devices have the serious disadvantage that the horizontally shaped bag has to be erected so that it assumes the vertical position which is essential for the filling operation. The known devices must be stopped for the operation of unthreading the bags from the winding mandrels and for transferring them to carrier boxes. These indispensable cyclical stays limit the productivity of the known devices, while also creating serious kinematic disadvantages. The handling of the flexible and sensitive body of an empty bag, i.e. its alignment from horizontal to vertical and its transfer is therefore difficult.

From AT-B-130 469 a method for the production of open boxes on the one hand is known. A paper sheet fed to a winding mandrel is folded there, while the winding mandrel is rotated on a vertical disk. On the one hand, this device is only suitable for relatively rigid packaging and, on the other hand, the opening of the finished packaging is arranged vertically, so that it is only suitable for solid goods such as cigarettes.

Diese Verpackungen müssen zum Füllen um 180° gedreht werden, was die Produktion verlangsamt.US-A-1 628 120 describes a packaging machine on which packages are formed with their opening facing down on winding mandrels. This packaging has to be rotated by 180 ° for filling, which slows down production.

The invention has for its object to provide a device for the complete packaging of bags starting from a reel wound on a spool, which is equipped on a vertical mandrel, which is suitably equipped in its interior with a device for ejecting the bag during the movement of the mandrel , is formed without the bag having to be rotated for filling.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the mandrels are arranged vertically downward, so that the bags wound around the mandrels with the filling opening are freely arranged for the introduction of the substance to be packaged by gravity.

The invention consists in providing a free end section of a band coming from a spool, already in a vertical arrangement and falling vertically downwards, which is aligned flat due to the gravity of the downward weight. Preferably, a plurality of vertical mandrels are arranged cyclically at the end of the band falling vertically downwards, which are oriented with such a degree of parallelism and such proximity with respect to the vertical downward falling edge of the band coming from the spool that the flexible Tape can be applied to the vertical mandrels without deviating from the correct flat arrangement.

The band of flexible material is cut off after its end is firmly anchored to the vertical winding mandrel.

According to a preferred embodiment, the bag is ejected from the winding mandrel by means of an ejection device which is inserted into the interior of the winding mandrels in such a way that it effects this operation with the greatest reliability even during the movement of the winding mandrels and without stopping them. The empty bags are preferably transferred into coaxial boxes arranged underneath and synchronized in movement with the winding mandrels.

The winding mandrels are preferably provided with an ejection device with a movable bottom for ejecting from the inside with an axial action against the bottom of the bag for unthreading the winding mandrel which is in motion.

The device for ejecting the bags from the winding mandrels during their movement preferably has a push rod which, in order to produce a coaxial passage of a pin acting on the inner movable base of each vertical winding mandrel, has a pin which acts with generally known kinematics.

The plurality of vertical mandrels are preferably arranged in a circular or annular aisle in combination with analog circular or annular aisles of the underlying associated and synchronized plurality of boxes into which the bags are transferred in the synchronous transfer zone in which each associated mandrel and box coaxial and synchronized with each other simultaneous transfer of the ejected from the mandrel and into the box during the synchronous movement of both vertically entering bags.

The invention provides a significant increase in reliability and consequent greater operational productivity. The packaging devices according to the invention are characterized by maximum safety and operational precision.

The machine according to the invention is used to form a band coming from a reel and to fill, weigh, condition and seal bags made of flexible material with a content of granular or powdery substances, such as flour, sugar or coffee, even under vacuum and also in continuous operation , as well as integrated upstream with an apparatus for the extrusion and joining of materials to flexible bands supplemented with printed or incised decorations and provided with inner and outer heat-weldable layers.

  • Fig. 6 bis Fig. 10 weitere Ausführungsformen von Verpackungsvorrichtungen.
Embodiments of the invention are explained with reference to the drawing. Show it:
  • Fig. 1 to Fig. 5 different steps for forming a bag with a first embodiment of a packaging device, and the
  • 6 to 10 show further embodiments of packaging devices.
  • In Fig. 1, the vertically downward moving end of a tape 1 made of flexible material, which comes from a spool or extrusion device, not shown, is shown schematically. Pull rollers 2 feed the tape 1 and guide it downward, transporting it vertically in the direction of the arrow.
  • In Fig. 2 it is shown that the free end portion 1 'of the tape 1 coming from the spool is already longitudinally stretched like a lead thread due to the gravity of its own weight and assumes a flat, vertical position parallel to a winding mandrel 3 and maintains it in a stable manner.
  • Fig. 3 shows that the vertically hanging end portion 1 'of the tape 1 during the movement to abut the winding mandrel 3, for example by means of a counter wall 4, does not change its parallelism with respect to the winding mandrel 3, since it already runs close parallel to this .
  • Fig. 4 shows that the tape section 5, with the help of known means, not shown, is cut from the tape 1 only when it is attached to the mandrel 3. 4 that the cut tape section 5 remains anchored vertically and stably on the winding mandrel 3 and always remains in this vertical engagement / anchoring arrangement in all subsequent phases of winding around the winding mandrel. It also results that the edge 6 of the section 5 is horizontal to form the horizontal edge of a vertical bag with an opening at the top.
  • Fig. 5 shows that the edge 6 of the band section 5 always runs horizontally during the subsequent operations of winding the section 5 around the vertical mandrels 3. 5 shows a circularly arranged plurality of vertical winding mandrels 3, which are arranged, for example, along a circular raceway, oriented in a downward direction from a horizontal rotating ring.
  • Fig. 6 shows that in the interior of the winding mandrels 3 coaxially each an ejection device 7 for repelling the bag 5 already formed by winding around the respective winding mandrel 3 is arranged. This ejection process takes place during the movement in a cam track 11 arranged on a stationary drum 12, within which rollers 10 are guided, which are arranged at the end of a pin 9 for pushing the ejection device 7 against the inner bottom of the respective bag 5. The headstock slewing ring is placed on a chain equipped with a large number of boxes 8; the boxes 8 are assigned to the winding mandrels 3 arranged above and synchronized with them in a zone for removing the bags 5 in order to accommodate the respective bags 5 to be ejected. It should be emphasized that the transfer of the bag 5 takes place by ejection from the inside during the synchronized movement and not when the machine is stopped.
  • Fig. 7 shows the arrangement of the headstock slewing ring for holding the winding mandrels 3 with a circular path over a synchronized and with the annular track of a plurality of boxes 8 to be assigned matching sheet. The vertical bags 5, which are arranged with the opening facing upwards and are already ready for the filling and any other packaging process, are to be transferred into the boxes 8.
  • FIG. 8 shows another combination of a plurality of synchronized boxes 8 arranged on a circle, which are also assigned hanging mandrels 3 arranged above them, which pass through an identical ring-shaped track.
  • Fig. 9 shows an embodiment of associated synchronized circular raceways on which the boxes 8 and mandrels 3 are arranged. In Fig. 9, the circular associated pair of mandrels 3 and boxes 8 is flanked by an outer tangential circular carousel of boxes 8 ', into which the bags 5 are empty in a vertical arrangement with an opening above and open for the operations by transfer with known kinematic devices of filling and sealing.
  • 10, an assigned pair of synchronized mandrels 3 and boxes 8 are flanked tangentially by a filling carousel with an annular path, the boxes 8 'of which pick up the vertical empty bags 5 with the opening at the top and transfer them to further packaging processes.
  • Various other possible geometric and kinematically matching and synchronized combinations, which are not shown, can be derived constructively within the scope of the invention. Various embodiments are included in the invention, both with regard to the dimensional relationships and with regard to the structural relationships, and the technological choice of materials can also be made depending on the speed and the physical and organoleptic characteristics of the substances to be packaged.
