Vorteilhaft an einem Fahrzeug mit der beschriebenen Ausrüstung (DE-PS 26 48 851) ist, daß sein Wasserbedarf weitgehend aus dem von ihm selbst mitführbaren Wasservorrat gedeckt werden kann, der ständig erneuert wird, so daß Hydranten zum Frischwassertanken höchst selten angesteuert und damit Arbeitsunterbrechungen in Kauf genommen werden müssen. Die Verwendung einer Wasserstrahlpumpe zum Hochsaugen des Schlamms hat gegenüber einer Evakuierung des gesamten Behälters den Vorzug, daß der Behälter nicht vakuumdicht gehalten werden muß.
