Um zu νerhindern, daß die Hände ständig mit dem Schmutzwasser in Berührung kommen, sind verschiedene Geräte mit einer Auswringvorrichtung entwickelt worden. So wurde durch die DE-GM 6 601 583 ein Schwammwischgerät bekannt, bei dem die Schwammträgerplatte geteilt und mit einer Mechanik gekoppelt ist, die ein Gegeneinanderpressen der beiden HäLften gestattet. Dadurch ist es möglich, Feuchtigkeit vom Boden aufzunehmen und über einem Eimer durch Pressen wieder aus dem Schwamm herauszudrücken. Nachteilig an diesem Gerät ist der verbleibende hohe Restfeuchtigkeitsgehalt.One of the most unpleasant household chores is wiping the floor wet. Der RestfeuchtegehaLt ist dabei abhängig von der Anpresskraft der Presswalze; diese wird atlerdings von der Reißfestigkeit des Wischtuches bestimmt. Wird nämlich die Presswalze zu stark angedrückt, kann das Wischtuch nicht mehr durchgezogen werden, beziehungsweise zerreißt. Das ProbLem bei diesem Wischgerät Liegt also in der Befestigung des Wischtuches an der Zugstange. Zu dem ist ein hoher Kraftbedarf erforderlich, um das Wischtuch durch die Pressrotten hindurchzuziehen.
