Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to staircases and more particularly to prefabricated straight staircases.
Prefabricated concrete staircases generally make it possible to save time both at the manufacturing level and at the installation of the staircase on the site. The manufacturing gains are of course a function of the quantity. stairs to produce, they are also a function of the simplicity and the number of elements that make up the staircase.
The invention aims to produce a staircase adapted both to an industrialization of manufacturing and to a wide field of application because of its simplicity. This type of staircase, according to the invention, is suitable as an entrance staircase for a pavilion, cellar staircase, interior building staircase; it is easy to install without handling equipment due to its reduced weight. The elements of steps which compose it allow a great. flexibility of use going from the steep staircase to the more elongated staircase, each step remaining perfectly horizontal whatever the slope of the staircase.
The staircase, according to the invention, consists of at least one stringer and steps; the or each stringer has transverse notches for anchoring prefabricated step elements. The prefabricated element consists of a molded step with a perpendicular wall forming on the one hand the riser and on the other hand an anchoring foot positioned in the notch of the stringer.
Each notch of the stringer has a V-shaped section rounded at the tip. This rounding has a radius substantially equal to half the thickness of the anchoring foot so as to correspond to the rounding of said anchoring foot thus allowing pivoting of the anchoring foot, and therefore of the element of walking, in the corresponding notch.
According to another arrangement of the invention, the bottom of each step has a heel obtained directly from the molding of the step element; this heel is provided with an inclined face in contact with the edge of the rear upper end of the riser. The plane passing through the inclined face is substantially perpendicular to the stringer in its average position of inclination.
The appended drawing illustrates, by way of example, an embodiment of a staircase in accordance with the present invention.
The staircase as shown is arranged between a ground level 1 and the landing of an upper level 2. The or each stringer 3 stairs are precast in concrete in the form of a beam; it is placed and sealed in
To maintain perfect horizontality of the steps 7 according to the inclinations of the or each stringer 3, the height obtained between said steps 7 may vary while remaining uniform from one step to another, by means of a
The staircase is produced by successively mounting the
From the above description, it appears that the invention allows more or less steep stairs to be produced using the same prefabricated step elements in which the stair nosings are more or less pronounced. The width of the prefabricated element is variable depending on the width of the staircase to be made and this element can be supported by a wide central stringer or by several strings each having indentations for positioning the anchoring feet.
The invention is in no way limited to the specially indicated embodiment, but it also covers all possible variants, provided that these are not in contradiction tion with the subject of each of the claims appended to this description.
