Description

The present invention relates to a device for placing sleeves on a conveyor belt of a ring spinning or ring twisting machine, in which the belt is provided with pins which serve to position the sleeves and the feeding of the sleeves to the belt takes place at a fixed placement point.

In the case of ring spinning or ring twisting machines, a plurality of sleeves located on a conveyor belt are simultaneously gripped to place the sleeves on the spindles, and these sleeves are then also simultaneously attached to the spindles. It is important that the sleeves are positioned exactly on the conveyor belt. A sleeve that is not fully attached to its pin can be destroyed by the gripper bar when it is gripped. Under certain circumstances, the gripper bar can be bent or the conveyor belt can be damaged. An incorrect insertion of the sleeves is generally caused by damaged sleeves, in particular damaged sleeve feet. It is therefore important that damaged sleeves are removed from the working process of the machines.

A spool changing device on spinning machines is known from German Offenlegungsschrift 30 26 075, which among other things. equipped with a conveyor belt with vertical mandrels for cores for their transport from a storage container to the bobbin changing device and with a sensing device for detecting missing and incorrectly seated cores on the mandrels. The sleeves are placed on the pins at a fixed location.

However, this sensing device performs a purely monitoring function, which consists in that optical and acoustic signals are given or the conveyor belt with the sleeves is stopped if a sleeve is not correctly fitted onto the corresponding holding mandrel. The removal of the incorrectly placed sleeve must, however, be carried out manually by the operating personnel, so that such an overnight device requires the constant willingness of the operating personnel to intervene.

According to the present invention, the automatic removal of damaged sleeves from the working process is to be achieved while avoiding the disadvantages mentioned above. The invention is characterized in that for ejecting sleeves which are incompletely put over a pin, the device has a horizontally arranged rod which can be swiveled out of its horizontal starting position about a horizontal pivot axis arranged perpendicular to its longitudinal direction and thereby subjected to a spring force driving it back into this starting position and that the pivot axis and thus the rod can be moved up and down at a control point arranged downstream with respect to the movement of the conveyor belt of the touchdown point and the rod during the downward movement with its end part, which is located above the sleeve head of the respective control point located sleeve is movable in such a way that in the case of sleeves that are not completely slipped over a pin, that is to say higher-standing sleeves, the sleeve is ejected by the rod moving downward while pivoting it to an acute angle with the sleeve.

The device according to the invention thus has the advantage of simplicity and thus great reliability. It provides an automatic sorting of damaged tubes from the remaining tubes, which brings savings in the spinning mill.

The invention will be explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment and the drawing. In the latter is
  • Fig. 1 shows a cross section of a device for placing sleeves on a conveyor belt and
  • Fig. 2 is a side view along the line II - 11 of Fig. 1 of an example with an arrangement according to the invention.

In both figures, the same parts are provided with the same reference symbols.

Der Antrieb erfolgt mittels eines Motors 17.In a container 11 there is a supply of sleeves 12. A conveying device comprises two rollers 13, which are provided with troughs 14. A conveyor belt 16 equipped with trough-shaped pockets 15 runs over the rollers 13. The drive takes place by means of a motor 17.

Pins 20 are attached to a conveyor belt 19 for sleeves 12 at predetermined distances from one another.

The sleeves 12 are placed on the latter. The mutual distance between two adjacent pins 20 is equal to the spindle pitch, i.e. equal to the distance between adjacent spindles on the associated spinning or twisting machine. The sleeves 12 to be placed are individually lifted off the conveyor belt 16 by means of a table 21. A pin 22 serves to steer the sleeves 12 falling into a drop channel 23. The conveyor belt 19 is driven by a drive 24.

Pfeile 18 geben die Richtung der Bewegungen an.The drop channel is located at the location of the placement point at which the sleeves 12 are placed on the band 19. According to the invention, a control point is additionally provided at which sleeves 12 which are not completely ejected onto the band 19 or onto a pin 20 are ejected. In Fig. 1, the control point is at the location of the middle of the three sleeves 12 located above the band 19. Arrows 18 indicate the direction of the movements.

Sie zeigt wiederum eineFIG. 2 is drawn on a larger scale than FIG. 1. It shows one again

Sleeve 12, the conveyor belt 19 and pin 20. It is assumed that the sleeve 12 is pressed in at its base, i.e. is damaged and is not properly placed on its pin 20, as is also shown in Fig. 1. A rod 25 is pivotable about a pivot axis 26. The latter is mounted on a rod 27. Since the latter can be moved up and down, this is also the case for the rod 25. In the example shown, the rod 27 can be moved by means of a piston 29 movable in a cylinder 28. The rod 25 is prestressed by means of a tension spring 30. In its rest or starting position, it lies horizontally and against a stop 31. The stop 31 is fixed to the rod 27. In order to enable the rod to pivot freely about the axis 26, it is provided with an opening 32 drawn in broken lines.

To place the sleeves 12 on the conveyor belt 19, this is driven by the drive 24 and the conveyor belt 16 by the motor 17. The sleeves 12 coming onto the table 21 roll against the pin 22 and are caused by this to fall through the drop channel 23 with the sleeve foot pointing downward. The conveyor belt 16 and the conveyor belt 19 are synchronized in such a way that each falling sleeve 12 strikes a pin 20. In the example shown there is a mode of operation according to which the belt 19 moves step by step. During the standstill of the belt 19, there is a pin 20 at each point of contact between the individual steps, i.e. underneath the drop channel 23. It can be seen from FIG. 1 that, since the distance between adjacent pins of the spindle division of the machine is the same, the control point is a distance from the placement point which is the same as the spindle division. But it can also be two or three times the spindle pitch, i.e. an integer multiple of the same.

While the conveyor belt 19 is at a standstill, the piston 29, with it the rod 27 and thus also the rod 25, is moved downward. This movement takes place by at least such a distance in which the left end part of the rod 25 in FIG. 2 at least still touches a sleeve 12 on the sleeve head which is properly placed on the band 19. A properly placed sleeve 12 is one that is completely slipped over its pin 20.

Dadurch wird der Hülsenkopf in Fig. 2 nach links weggedrückt und damit die Hülse 12 ausgeworfen.2 shows a sleeve 12, the foot of which is pressed in and which is not in a position corresponding to a correctly fitted sleeve. In this case, the rod 25 presses against the head of the sleeve 22 already at the beginning of its downward movements. Since the latter abuts on the pin 20, the rod 25 is rotated clockwise about its axis 26 in the arrangement shown and thereby forms one with the sleeve 12 acute angle a, as this is indicated by dashed lines. As a result, the sleeve head is pushed away to the left in FIG. 2 and the sleeve 12 is thus ejected.

It can happen that the damage to the sleeve 12 is only insignificant, so that it is not ejected in the process described, but rather is pressed by the rod 25 into a position correctly seated on the pin 20. In this case, correct removal of this sleeve is ensured when the same is placed on the spindles. Such a subsequent pressing of the sleeves 12 into their correctly placed position is desirable, since this improves the accuracy of the positioning of the sleeves 12. This mode of operation thus represents a further advantage of the present invention.

The acute angle a between the rod 25 and the longitudinal axis of a properly attached sleeve 12 depends on the mutual distance of the pivot axis 26 from the sleeve longitudinal axis 33 of the sleeve 12 located at the control point; the closer they are to each other, the greater the size of the downward movement of the rod 25, the angle a. In practice, the angle a can be over 45 °. A minimum value for a safe ejection with comfortable dimensions of the parts causing the ejection is approximately 25 °.
