Abstract

1. Roofing means for roofing a given surface, particularly for forecourts, conservatories, pergolas or house entrances, with a grid-like support structure, industrially prefabricated beams (10, 11, 12) matched to given girder field dimensions are provided which rest on vertical supports or wall brackets, the beams (10, 11, 12) are constructed as bonded beams or girders having two symmetrically arranged sheet steel profiles (15, 16), between which are arranged L and T-shaped connecting plates (19), at least in the vicinity of intersections, the sheet steel profiles (15, 16) and connecting plates (19) being screwed together by means of assembly screws (20, 21), characterized in that the connecting plates (19) are made from light metal and that the sheet steel profiles (15, 16) have angular edge regions in the upper part of the beam (10, 11, 12) forming a substantially V-shaped groove, into which project the edges of dome-shaped roof membrane elements (22), which in each case cover a grid field (13).
