- Such resins are e.g. became known with the article name DD resins.
- it can also be Desmofen or Desmodur resins.
- the invention is not tied to the use of the substances or chemical materials listed above, for example; Rather, the invention comprises a method which is suitable for combining several identical or different individual threads or a corresponding number of fibers by means of thermal and possibly simultaneous mechanical treatment in such a way that subsequent dissolution due to renewed exposure to temperature is excluded, based on the fact that the threads or material components that can be thermally bonded only allow a single thermal change.

Abstract
Description
The subject matter of the invention is a combined thread, consisting of 2 or more different material components, which are connected together with little or no twisting by thermal and / or mechanical connection and which no longer dissolve even in the event of a subsequent chemical or / and thermal action or separate.
In order to achieve a firm, permanent connection of several individual parallelized (fanned) thread components of the same or different materials, these have hitherto been twisted together in a well-known manner, a process known as "twisting".
This "twisting" process, regardless of which known twisting system is carried out, is expensive because of the relatively low production speed.
Various other connection options have therefore already been proposed, with which the combination and permanent connection of several individual fibers or threads can be achieved instead of twisting.
It has been proposed to glue the individual fiber or thread components to one another; a process that is referred to in technical terms as "bonding". It has also been proposed to swirl the combined individual fiber or thread parts with compressed air so that they claw each other and thus combine to form a thread. As a further proposal, it has become known to select the individual threads or fibers differently in their type of material, in such a way that a thread part is suitable for a thermal adhesive connection. Such a thermal adhesive connection can be made according to this proposal by heating the thermally bondable or weldable thread portion to bring about the adhesive effect; ie the still open thread assembly is connected together by elevated temperature and, if necessary, simultaneous mechanical pressing, in that the fusible thread portion is liquid or at least pasted firmly connected to the other thread part (s) and thus forms an overall thread which is stuck together.
Such largely twistlessly connected yarns and threads can be processed in a wide variety of applications. They have no disadvantages compared to twisted threads or twisting in a number of applications. However, if these threads, which are summarized in this way, that is to say largely without rotation, are subjected to strong friction or tensile stress or, in particular, to high thermal stress, they are often not sufficient in accordance with the techniques described above. A high thread stress occurs e.g. inevitably during the sewing process, insofar as this is carried out with the sewing machines known for this. When sewing with sewing machines, the thread is subjected to high stresses due to the frequent changes in strength during the course of the seam formation and heated so strongly by the rapid sequence of the needle into the material that temperatures of up to 400 ° C and more arise. For such increased force-stretching and in particular temperature stresses, threads as can be produced with the above, previously known methods are not or not optimally suitable.
The invention relates to a summarized thread, consisting of 2 or more different material components, which are connected together by thermal and / or mechanical connection so that they form a largely firmly connected thread body without or with little rotation, with the proviso that one or several thread portions in this thread bundle liquefy completely or approximately during a thermal treatment and thereby firmly connect the thread bundle, if necessary, by means of simultaneously mechanical pressing, with the special feature that the thermally liquefying thread portion consists of a material that can only be thermally liquefied once.
Such a firmly combined, largely twistless thread consisting of 2 or more thread components can be used for all applications. As a result of the unique thermal plasticizability of the thread portion gluing the thread bandage according to the invention, such a thread can be both dyed and sewn, since the inevitably occurring high temperatures can no longer dissolve the thread bandage both during dyeing and especially during sewing.
For the combination of such a completely or largely rotation-free thread according to the invention, all known fiber and thread materials and their mixtures can be used if a corresponding thread material which can only be melted once is added to the unique adhesive connection according to the invention. The thread or fiber connection in the combined thread structure can also be carried out according to the invention by supplying such a substance that can only be thermally pasted or liquefied once, for example in powder or liquid form. All techniques known per se, for example diving, nozzle spraying, etc. can be used for this.
This thread or fabric or material, which is thermally liquefiable only once and connects the thread assembly according to the invention, can be selected to be different depending on the other thread components. For example Epoxy or polyester resins, so-called two-component resins, which cure after a thermal treatment that has taken place once. Such resins are e.g. became known with the article name DD resins. According to the invention, it can also be Desmofen or Desmodur resins. Depending on the choice of the remaining thread components and the final thread usage, e.g. also be polypropylene or polyamide or polyethylene threads or powder of such material that is used for the one-time thermal connection.
The invention is not tied to the use of the substances or chemical materials listed above, for example; Rather, the invention comprises a method which is suitable for combining several identical or different individual threads or a corresponding number of fibers by means of thermal and possibly simultaneous mechanical treatment in such a way that subsequent dissolution due to renewed exposure to temperature is excluded, based on the fact that the threads or material components that can be thermally bonded only allow a single thermal change.
