Abstract

The transportable centrifuge for projection materials is provided with a special endless belt (15) passing on rollers (14 and 26), and with a rotary plate (2) having a lining (3) on each outer surface. The special belt (15) entwines partially the lining (3), and the projection material (7) is speeded up between the grooves of the lining (3) and of the special belt (15). The lining (3) with longitudinal grooves may be replaced rapidly by another lining with transversal cuts of different grooves, and the inner surface of the belt (15) is provided with a profile parallel to the peripheral direction wherein the outer surface of the rollers (14, 26) is in mesh to drive the special belt (15) owing to their corresponding profile.

Diese Ausführung bewirkt, daß bei ungleichmäßiger Zuteilung von Strahlgut das Band wegen Fehlens einer präzisen Zwangsführung abläuft und keine Mitnahme weiteren Strahlengutes gewährleistet und somit funktionsfähig ist. A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus comprising an endless special belt (15) which passes around rollers (14, 26), and a rotatable disc (2) which is provided on its outside surface with a profiled band (3), wherein the special belt (15) passes partially around the band (3) and the jet blasting material (7) can be accelerated between the outside surfaces of the band (3) and the special belt (15), characterised in that the outside surface of the band (3) has peripheral grooves (27) and that the inside surface of the special belt (15) is provided with a profiling (28) which extends parallel to its peripheral direction and into which the outside surfaces of the rollers (14, 26) guiding the special belt (15) engage with a corresponding profile (29).
2. A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to claim 1 characterised in that the peripheral grooves (27) of the band (3) are semicircular in cross-section.
3. A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the band (3) is secured to the disc (2) with screws (4) at one side.

A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to claim 1, claim 2 or claim 3 characterised in that the profiling (28) of the special belt (15) is in the form of peripheral grooves into which engages the profile (29) of the rollers (14, 26), which is correspondingly formed with peripheral grooves.

A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to at least one of the preceding claims characterised in that the profiling (28) of the special belt (15) and the profile (29) of the rollers (14, 26) extend over the entire width of the special belt (15) and the rollers (14, 26) and interengage with tooth configurations in cross-section.

A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to at least one of the preceding claims characterised in that the rollers (14, 26) are arranged in parallel-axis relationship with the band (3) on a split annular disc member (12) which is adjustable by means of screwthreaded clamping bolts (16).
7. A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to at least one of the preceding claims characterised in that a jet blasting material feed pipe (11), screwthreaded stops (17) and a pivotal lever (18) are fixed on the annular disc member (12).
8. A transportable centrifugal jet blasting apparatus according to at least one of the preceding claims characterised in that the annular disc member (12) is connected by means of a pushrod (25) to an eccentric disc (24) with motor.
