Description

The invention relates to a collecting container with floor emptying for solids, in particular waste paper, consisting of side and top walls with at least one insertion opening and two simultaneously hinged bottom flaps which are articulated on diametrically opposite sides of the lower peripheral edge of the container and in the raised state of the container by means of a the upper wall of the central tube, which is held in a longitudinally displaceable manner, is held in the closed state or can be pivoted into the emptying position, with a cross bar arranged at the bottom end of the central tube in the closed state of the bottom flaps above the bottom flaps with its longitudinal direction transverse to the pivot axes of the bottom flaps, to the free one A steering lever is articulated at the ends of each bottom flap, the other end of which is articulated on the inside of the associated bottom flap.

Such collecting containers mainly consist of a cylindrical side wall, to which an upper approximately hemispherical dome part connects in one piece. The bottom flaps form a standing surface of the container and can be opened and closed again in the raised state by longitudinally displacing the central tube, which is connected to the bottom flaps by a cable at its lower end.

To empty such a container, a disposal vehicle with a suitable crane is used, the support hook of which engages in a lifting ring connected to the container, while a further opening hook of the crane grasps the ring connected to the central tube. When lifting the container, the cable must be tensioned to prevent the bottom flaps from opening prematurely. As soon as the container is above the loading area of the disposal vehicle, the opening hook of the crane lowers the central tube, the bottom flaps being opened so that the contents of the container fall onto the loading area of the disposal vehicle. By lifting the central tube, the rope is tensioned and the bottom flaps are closed again so that the container can be set up again at its location.

Since the rope runs in the middle of the container in the known collecting containers, it makes it difficult or impossible for the collected solids, which are essentially recycled products, to escape. In particular, bulky waste paper in the form of unfolded cardboard boxes can easily get caught in the ropes inside, so that emptying is prevented. This problem occurs with all solids that have a large volume compared to their weight. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that some of the solids have a very irregular shape and therefore tend to form bridges within the container.

(vgl. Figur 3 der FR-A-2 500 422).A collecting container of the type mentioned at the outset is known from FR-A-2 500 422. At the lower end of a central bracket arrangement forming the central tube, hinge eyes are attached, which together with the central tube can be referred to as a short crossbar. Handlebars are attached to the hinge eyes, the free end of which is rotatably connected to the bottom flaps. The linkage to the bottom flaps takes place - as with the rope control of the bottom flaps mentioned above - at the free ends of the bottom flaps. With this arrangement, similar disadvantages arise for the emptying of bulky materials as for the rope control of the bottom flaps, which is unsuitable for bulky materials. In addition, the bottom flaps in the known arrangement can only be opened by a relatively small angle, so that only a small emptying opening is released. (see Figure 3 of FR-A-2 500 422).

The invention has for its object to provide a collection container of the type mentioned in such a way that the emptying of the container is possible even with bulky materials, such as waste paper or cardboard.

This object is achieved in that the bottom joints of the steering levers in the closed state of the bottom flaps have approximately the same distances from the bottom center and from the pivot axis of the associated bottom flap and that the crossbar extends at least to the bottom joints in the closed state of the bottom flaps.

The bottom-side joints of the steering levers are about the same distance from the center of the bottom and the pivot axis of the bottom flap concerned in the collecting container according to the invention. The center of the base corresponds to the center of the distance between the two pivot axes of the base flaps. As a result of this articulation of the handlebars controlling the bottom flaps, the emptying opening through the opened bottom flaps is only slightly affected by the control of the bottom flaps. Favorable leverage ratios for opening the bottom flaps are achieved by the length of the crossbar, which extends at least up to the bottom hinges of the steering levers in the closed state of the bottom flaps. In the case of the container according to the invention, the bottom flaps can be pivoted very far, preferably by an angle of approximately 90 °, whereby on the one hand the required stroke of the central tube is relatively small, and on the other hand prevents the bottom flaps from opening independently due to the weight of the filling material pressing on the bottom flaps becomes.

It is expedient if the central tube is welded to the crossbar via web plates. In this way, there is a reinforced T-connection between the central tube and the crossbeam so that this connection point has sufficient mechanical strength even when the crossbeam halves are loaded unevenly.

It is advantageous if the side walls of the container are equipped on the inside in the region above the pivot axes of the bottom flaps with apron sections directed obliquely downwards. In this way, the step within the container caused by the mounting of the swivel axes does not constitute an obstacle to the solids falling out of the open container. The apron sections are directed inwards in such a way that the solids in the region of the side walls are guided to the center and the open container can leave unhindered.

With a view to a low overall height of the collecting container in the closed position of the bottom flaps, it is possible that the upper longitudinal section of the central tube is designed as a telescope. Since the central tube must be moved in the longitudinal direction to open the bottom flaps, the upper longitudinal section of the central tube protrudes from the upper wall by the lifting height required for opening. If this longitudinal section is telescopic, it can be moved in the longitudinal direction into the interior of the container after the bottom flaps have been closed, i.e. after the container has been set down, so that only the ring attached to the end of the central tube projects beyond the upper container wall .

In the aforementioned embodiment, it is recommended that the telescopic longitudinal section be locked in the extended position with the lower longitudinal section in the longitudinal direction. This has the advantage that in the longitudinal direction of the central tube a compressive force can be applied to open the bottom flaps from the outside.

Regardless of the aforementioned embodiment, it is expedient if the central tube has a rectangular cross section and is held in a longitudinally displaceable manner in a bushing with a rectangular cross section fastened in the upper wall of the container. This results in a simple way of securing the central tube against rotation, as a result of which an excessive load on the guide device for the base flaps and thus premature wear are avoided.

It is also advantageous if the bottom flaps form a standing surface of the container at least in the area of the peripheral edge. Since the bottom flaps extend to the edge of the container, the peripheral edge can be arranged in the vicinity of the outermost edge of the container, so that the container can be set up to prevent it from tipping over. Since a space remains below the bottom in this way, the embodiment with the central tube passed through the bottom flaps and the crossbeam below the closed bottom flaps can also be easily produced without additional feet for the container.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of an exemplary embodiment schematically illustrated in the drawing.

The collecting container shown in the emptying position in FIG. 1 is designed in particular for bulky solids, such as waste paper or cardboard. The container consists of lateral, approximately cylindrical walls 1 and upper walls 2, which are approximately hemispherical and connect integrally to the lateral walls 1. The upper walls 2 are designed like dormers on opposite sides and each have an insertion opening 3. In the bottom area of the container, two bottom flaps 4 and 5 are provided. The bottom flap 4 is rotatably mounted about a horizontally arranged pivot axis 6. The pivot axis of the bottom flap 5 is not shown in Fig. 1.

A central tube 7 runs in the longitudinal direction of the container and is connected at its upper end to a ring 8 and at its lower end to a transverse web 9. In addition to the ring 8, a lifting ring 11 is provided on a reinforcing plate 10 for lifting the container. Furthermore, a reinforcing plate 10 with a rectangular cross section is provided for the likewise rectangular central tube 7, as shown in FIG. 3.

To reinforce the connection of the central tube 7 to the crossbar 9, web plates 12 and 13 are welded in. In this way, the central tube 7 and the crossbar 9 result in an extremely rigid T-connection. At the free end 9a of the crossbar 9, a steering lever 14 is rotatably mounted about an axis 15. Furthermore, a bearing for an axis of rotation 16 is provided approximately in the middle of the bottom flap 4, about which the steering lever 14 can also be pivoted. In a symmetrical arrangement with the bottom flap 4, the bottom flap 5 is assigned a steering lever 17, which is also pivotable about an axis 18 at the free end 9b of the crossbar 9 is. Because of the symmetry of the bottom flaps, the axes 6, 15 and 16 assigned to the bottom flap 4 run parallel to one another and to the axes assigned to the bottom flap 5.

Fig. 1 shows the container in the emptying position, the bottom flaps 4 and 5 can be pivoted through an angle of almost 90 ° in order to enable a central fill with the largest possible opening cross-section, so that there is a steep outlet angle, which the problem-free Emptying, especially of bulky cardboard or paper parts, made possible. In the emptying position shown in FIG. 1, the container is usually held on its support ring 11 by a crane hook, not shown. To close the container, another crane hook reaching into the ring 8 pulls it upwards, so that the central tube is moved in the longitudinal direction together with the crossbeam 9 and these are closed by the selected joint arrangement of the bottom flaps 4 and 5. This closed position of the container is possible due to the joint arrangement described with an extremely small stroke of the central tube 7. In the closed position, an upper longitudinal section 7a protrudes from the upper wall 2 of the container, as can be seen in FIG. 2. If the upper longitudinal section 7a of the central tube 7 is designed telescopically, it can optionally be pushed back into the interior of the container after unlocking acting in the axial direction, so that the maximum height of the container is reduced.

In the area of the peripheral edge of the container, the bottom flaps 4 and 5 are provided with an annular standing surface 18 ', as can be seen from FIG. 1 using the example of the bottom flap 4. A further standing area 19 is also provided in the central area of the floor, as is also shown in FIG. 1 using the example of the floor flap 4. Since the course of the pivot axis 6 of the bottom flap 4 and the opposite pivot axis of the bottom flap 5 have steps in the interior of the container through which the escape of the solids collected in the container can be hindered or disturbed, apron sections 20 are provided in these areas of the side walls 1 installed, as can be seen on the right side of Fig. 1.
