Description

The invention relates to a dyeing tree for dyeing textile fabrics in a dyeing apparatus with a cylindrical tree core provided with a perforation for the passage of a dyeing liquor and an intermediate layer between the tree core and the fabric rolled up thereon.

There are basically two systems for dyeing textiles. In the first system, the textile goods are moved in a dyeing machine through the dyeing liquor (aqueous solution of the dyes). The goods to be dyed run from a piece tree over guide rollers through a paint container. In the second system, the dyeing liquor is pressed or sucked through the resting textile material in a dyeing machine. The present invention is based on this second system with a dyeing apparatus.

So-called dyeing trees are used to hold the goods to be dyed - these can be woven, knitted or knitted items as well as non-woven fabrics. These essentially consist of a tree core with tree slices arranged on the side. The goods to be dyed, in particular textile fabrics in the form of bales of fabric, are rolled up on the tree core. The dyeing trees are perforated over their entire circumference, so that the dyeing liquor can be pumped alternately from outside to inside and from inside to outside. In this way, the dyeing liquor soaks through the entire rolled up goods.

Particularly with sensitive goods, however, the perforation in the goods is expressed when pumping around the dyeing liquor, which makes the first layers of wrapping unsaleable. In order to remedy this, it has been proposed to arrange an intermediate layer between the tree core and the fabric to be colored, which is rolled up on it, so that the perforation is not expressed in the goods but in this intermediate layer. An intermediate layer sewn onto the goods serves as an intermediate layer and forms the first layers of the wrapping. However, such a leader cloth is dyed, which makes repeated use impossible and thereby causes high costs. In addition, the flow cloth must be sewn onto the goods to be dyed and separated again after the dyeing process.

The invention is therefore based on the object of providing an intermediate layer which easily fulfills the conditions imposed on it and avoids the disadvantages of the known intermediate layer.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that a shell-like covering made of a material which is permeable to the dyeing liquor and difficult to dye is applied as the intermediate layer.

The advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that the intermediate layer does not have to be newly applied to the tree core before each new dyeing process, but that a tube-like covering is applied to the tree core. This enables a quick change of the textile goods to be dyed. The cover-like covering forms a uniform surface for the wrapping. In order not to impede the pumping over of the dyeing liquor, it must be permeable to it. Since it is made of a material that is difficult to dye, it prevents sticking or clogging, and thus a short lifespan.

According to a further feature of the invention, a needle felt is provided as the covering. This material, especially if it is made of polypropylene, fulfills the conditions imposed on the covering.

In a preferred embodiment, the needle felt is provided with a support fabric. In addition, the needle felt can be scorched on the side facing the tree core. Such a strengthening of the covering increases its stability.

Finally, the invention proposes that the covering be made from a plate sewn together in the axial direction of the tree core with a seam to form a tube. Such plates have the advantage that they are easy to manufacture and process. They can be cut to any size of tree.

In addition, a homogeneous hose can also be used as a covering be provided, which must however be needled round on a special needle machine. It guarantees an exact fit.

  • Fig. 1 einen zylindrischen Färbebaum mit Belag in Draufsicht, wobei allerdings der Belag im mittleren Bereich teilweise weggeschnitten ist;
  • Fig. 2 einen zusammengenähten Belag eines Färbebaums in Schrägansicht;
  • Fig. 3 einen Schnitt durch einen genadelten Nadelfilz-Belag.
Further details and advantages of the subject matter of the invention result from the following description of the accompanying drawing. The drawing shows:
  • 1 shows a cylindrical dyeing tree with a covering in a top view, although the covering in the central region is partially cut away;
  • 2 shows a sewn-on covering of a staining tree in an oblique view;
  • Fig. 3 shows a section through a needled felt covering.

The coloring tree 1 shown in Fig. 1 consists of a cylindrical tree core 2, the periphery of which is provided with a perforation 3. Circular tree disks 4 are arranged in the two end regions of the tree core 2. Both between the two tree disks 4 and beyond them, the tree core 2 is surrounded by an envelope-like covering 5, which uniformly covers the circumference and thus the perforation 3 of the tree core 2.

In such a dyeing tree 1, the webs of fabric to be colored, not shown, are wound onto the tree core 2, the tree disks 4 acting as a lateral boundary. Due to the covering 5, the surface of the tree core 2 with its perforation 3 is not in direct contact with the wrapping, so that the perforation 3 is at most in the side of the covering 5 facing the tree core 2. The dyeing liquor can therefore be alternately pumped from outside to inside and from inside to outside during dyeing, without fear that the perforation 3 will be imprinted in the fabric.

The covering 5 shown in FIG. 2 without the coloring tree 1 is made from a rectangular plate. The plate is bent into a cylindrical tube, the abutting surfaces 6 facing each other being stitched together by means of a seam 7.

A needle felt can serve as covering 5. Fig. 3 shows a section through such a needled needle felt covering. As a result of the manufacturing process, the fibers of the needle felt are oriented essentially perpendicular to the surface, in the direction of flow of the dyeing liquor. A needle felt is well permeable to the dyeing liquor. The choice of material based on type, fiber thickness, cutting length and structural elasticity is essential for the quality of the permeability. Polypropylene is particularly suitable as the material for the needle felt.

The lower side facing the tree core 2 is provided with a support fabric 8. In addition, the covering can be singed on one side.
