Description

The invention relates to a separating device for separating perforated paper tube sections coming from a paper tube machine, with a preferred station with rotating conveying elements and a tear-off device, which consists of mutually opposite, mutually adjustable, circumferential tear-off elements.

In the known devices of this type, the preferred station has preferred rollers below the paper tube and roller-shaped preferred bodies above the paper tube. In the case of paper tubes with gussets, the preferred bodies can only press in the area of the gussets in which there is a double number of layers of paper. In order to prevent the paper tube section from being squeezed out, the preferred bodies must be lifted off briefly in the area of the cross bonds. The preferred stations are provided several times in succession, so that the preference of the paper tube is guaranteed even when lifting.

The preferred bodies leave pressure marks on the paper tube and impair the quality of the paper tube, especially when processing elastic paper.

The tear-off devices used today have a holding cylinder and a tear-off cylinder. In the case of paper tubes for gusseted bags, rolls or bodies with a larger diameter than in the area of the gussets must be used in the middle between the two gussets or a second tear-off cylinder is required for the area between the two gussets. Since the bodies of the tear-off cylinders have to be pressed hard against one another for a short time, pressure points also occur on the paper tube sections at the tear-off station.

Since at the tear-off station the tear-off bodies have to be moved briefly against one another and then again in the opposite direction, it is necessary to make the drives movable in a complex manner. This is currently done with the help of cardan shafts and cardan joints, which make the drive very expensive.

Based on this prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a separation device of the type mentioned so that it enables gentle treatment of the paper tube sections, is simple and less prone to failure, and when changing the paper tube formats, paper tube types and paper tube qualities none or only minor conversion work required.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that at least some of the conveyor and tear-off elements are continuous, endless conveyor belts and in that rollers or rollers of the conveyor belts on the underside of the paper tube or the paper tube section opposite the rollers or rollers on the top side thereof in the longitudinal direction of the paper tube or . of the paper tube section are offset from one another.

The provision of conveyor belts with mutually offset rollers allows very different paper tube formats and different types of paper tube (for example with and without gussets) and different paper qualities to be processed. While in the known devices the difference in thickness of side gusseted tubes between the edge regions and the central region always made it necessary to replace the tear-off body in the central region, such adjustment work is no longer necessary in the new device. The provision of conveyor belts and the arrangement of the rollers automatically take into account the different thicknesses across the width of the paper tube section.

The two embodiments according to FIGS. 2 to 4 on the one hand and 5 with 6 on the other hand do not differ in principle but only in constructive terms. In both embodiments, the parts corresponding to one another are therefore provided with the same reference symbols, optionally with a prime to distinguish them.

Der gebildete Papierschlauch durchläuft die Vorzugsstation 32 und gelangt danach in die Abreißeinrichtung 31.The paper tube machine shown in FIG. 1 has four unwinding stations 38, 39, 40 and 41, from the rollers of which four layers of paper are unrolled and brought together to form the tube. The unrolled layers are drawn off via the loop preferred station 37 and fed to the perforating station 36. In the perforating station 36, the individual layers are perforated transversely to the direction of travel. The individual paper webs then first pass through the cross-gluing station 35 and later through the longitudinal gluing station 34. The paper tube is formed in the tube-forming device 33. The paper tube formed passes through the preferred station 32 and then reaches the tear-off device 31.

The tear-off device 31 runs with lead opposite the preferred station 32. The conveyor belts of the tear-off station are each controlled so that they grip the paper tube section 14 (see FIG. 2) vigorously and pull it forward when the perforation line between the paper tube section 14 and the paper tube 13 lies between the preferred station 32 and the tear-off device 31 . Because of the advance of the conveyor belts of the tear-off station, the tear-off takes place.

28' gespannt.
First of all to the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 to 4:
  • The paper tube 13 arrives in the preferred station 32. The preferred station 32 has three conveyor belts 4, 5 and 6 arranged parallel to one another on the top of the paper tube 13 and three conveyor belts 4a, 5a and 6a also arranged next to one another on the underside of the paper tube 13. The upper conveyor belts are driven by three drive rollers 21 'and deflected by three adjacent pulleys 44'. On the underside of the paper tube 13 are three adjacent drive rollers 22 'and three adjacent deflection rollers 45' for the lower conveyor belts 4a, 5a and 6a. The conveyor belts are tensioned over tensioning rollers or tensioning rollers 27 'or 28'.

On the underside of the paper tube 13, rollers or rollers 10 'and 11' are provided for the lower conveyor belts 4a, 5a and 6a, which press the lower conveyor belts against the paper tube 13. Rolls 17 'and 18' are arranged on the top of the paper tube 13 and press the conveyor belts 4 to 6 against the paper tube 13 from above. The rollers 17 'and 18' are offset from one another in the longitudinal direction with respect to the rollers 10 'and 11', ie they are not directly opposite one another. The arrangement of the upper and lower rollers on a gap leads to the paper tube 13 snaking in an S-shape between the rollers. This arrangement makes it possible to transport a paper tube of different thickness over its width without having to provide spacing between the upper and lower transport elements that vary over the width. The thickness compensation between the area of the thicker gussets and the middle area takes place automatically.

The upper and lower conveyor belts are held tensioned via the tensioning rollers or tensioning rollers 27 'and 28'.

Der Aufbau der mit 31 insgesamt bezeichneten Abreißeinrichtung entspricht im wesentlichen dem Aufbau der Vorzugsstation 32.The structure of the tear-off device designated overall by 31 essentially corresponds to the structure of the preferred station 32.

In the tear-off device 31, three conveyor belts 1, 2 and 3 as well as three conveyor belts 1a, 2a and 3a are provided side by side on the underside. The three adjacent drive rollers for the upper conveyor baths are designated 19 ', while the three-fold adjacent drive rollers for the three lower conveyor belts are also designated 20'. With 25 'and 29' the tensioning rollers or tensioning rollers are designated. The lower rollers 7 'and 8' press the conveyor belts 1a, 2a and 3a against the underside of the paper tube section 14, while the rollers 15 'and 16' press the upper conveyor belts 1, 2 and 3 against the top side of the paper tube section 14. The point of separation between the paper tube 13 and the paper tube section is designated by 48. The deflection rollers for the upper conveyor belts 1 to 3 are each designated 46 'and the lower deflection rollers 47'.

The mode of operation of the separating device can best be explained on the basis of the constructive exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6:
  • In the embodiment according to FIG. 6, the parts which correspond to one another are each identified by the same reference symbols. In this embodiment, only two conveyor belts are provided on the top and bottom of both the preferred station and the tear-off device. The lower conveyor belts each run over three rollers arranged between the drive rollers and the deflection rollers.

In the preferred station, two adjacent conveyor belts 4 'and 5' are provided on the top and two adjacent conveyor belts 4a 'and 5a' on the underside.

In the tear-off device 31, the two upper, adjacent conveyor belts are designated 1 'and 2', while the two lower adjacent conveyor belts are designated 1 a 'and 2a'.

The conveyor belts 4 'and 5' as well as 4a 'and 5a' always grip strongly on the paper tube 13 and pull it forward. The height of the rollers 17 and 18 can be adjusted via the adjusting device 42. It is also possible to adjust the deflection rollers 44 and 45 in the longitudinal direction and to adjust the tensioning rollers or tensioning rollers 27 and 28 transversely to the longitudinal direction.

A corresponding construction is provided in the tear-off device 31, in which the rollers 15 and 16 can be adjusted by means of the adjusting device 30. The tensioning rollers 25 and 26 are adjustable transversely to the conveying direction and the deflection rollers 46 and 47 are adjustable in the longitudinal direction of the hose.

The rollers 7, 8 and 9 are seated in a carrier 24 which is displaceable transversely to the conveying direction. The carrier 24 is displaceably mounted transversely to the hose plane and carries a roller 29 at its lower end. The roller 29 runs on a disc with an eccentric 23. The rotary movement of the disc with eccentric 23 is coupled to the feed of the paper tube in such a way that the carrier is lifted and thus the rollers 7 to 9 are moved in the direction of the opposite rollers when the perforation 48 lies between the preferred station 32 and the tear-off device 31 . By this upward movement of the carrier 24 with the rollers 7 to 9, the paper tube section 14 becomes strong between the conveyor belts. Since the conveyor belts of the tear-off station 31 run forward, the paper tube section is torn off at the perforation point 48. The carrier 24 is then immediately lowered again and the paper tube section is transported further to the left. In the embodiment shown, a common drive 49 is used to drive the drive rollers 20 and 22 rotating at different speeds. It is also possible to couple the drive of the lower drive rollers with the associated upper drive rollers of the same station, i.e. 20 with 19 and 22 with 21, since it is stationary drives.
