FUr den Containerumschlag werden in zunehmendem Maße Krane mit einfach- oder doppelhakigen Unterflächen eingesetzt. Zum leichteren Positionieren der Container in eine vorgegebene Stellung sind zwischen dem Kranhaken und den daran hängenden Spreadern Schwenk- oder Dreheinrichtungen vorgesehen, mit deren Hilfe eine darunter hängende Last von der Kanzel des Krans aus in beliebige Winkelpositionen um die Vertikalachse bewegt werden können. Bei diesen Kranen besteht jedoch der Nachteil, daß sich bei der Aufnahme eines exzentrisch beladenen Containers infolge der außermittigen Schwerpunktlage eine Schiefstellung des Containers einstellt.
