Claims (2)

1. A supporting base for a load-carrying structure to be supported thereon, consisting of a compund body (3) made up of layers of elastomer and metal mutually bonded together, e. g. by vulcanising, to which is applied, at least along one bearing face thereof, a hardenable compensatory compound (5) consisting of a synthetic resin or a synthetic-resin-bonded substance, e. g. a synthetic resin mastic or mortar, for compensating dimensional tolerances between the supporting base (7) and the load-carrying structure (8) to be supported thereon, characterised in that the walls (4) of a cushion pad containing said compensatory compound (5) and being secured, e. g. adhesively or by vulcanising, to the compound body (3) enclose a container (6) which is adapted to be destroyed by impact or by pressure and which contains a suitable hardener for hardening the synthetic resin contained inside the pad.
