Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a pump device, in particular for the circuit of an absorption heat pump, with a positive displacement pump and an electric motor driving it.
3In view of the progressive shortage and increase in the cost of fossil fuels, absorption heat pumps are increasingly being used to heat houses and commercial premises, in which an aqueous liquid containing NH 3 is mostly circulated. Since the heat pump is normally installed in the house and should work for as long as possible maintenance-free and without endangering the environment, it is essential that the entire system and thus also the circulation pump remains reliably sealed so that any leakage of the toxic NH 3 is safely excluded. Since the liquid pumped around in the working circuit of the heat pump passes through areas with temperatures of over 200 ° C, it is also important to prevent the ingress of lubricants from the circulating pump into the working circuit as far as possible in order to avoid malfunctions. Since such circulation pumps are supposed to deliver relatively large pressure increases in each case with a relatively small delivery volume, diaphragm pumps have been used to meet the above-mentioned requirements, the diaphragm of which, however, is a wearing part which inevitably is destroyed over time, which then leads to the leakage of NH. 3rd
The object of the invention is now to provide a pumping device of the type mentioned at the outset which avoids the disadvantages hitherto and remains reliably leak-proof with a simple, compact construction over an extended, maintenance-free operating time.
To achieve this object, the pump device of the type mentioned is characterized according to the invention by the features listed in
In the pumping device according to the invention, the combination of a plunger pump driven by a camshaft with a canned motor known per se, the rotor of which is connected to the camshaft in a rotationally fixed manner and the canned pipe which is closed on one side and forms a closed rotor space with the pump housing, prevents any leakage of liquid or NH 3 the pumping device reliably excluded permanently. With this construction, penetration of circulating liquid or NH 3 into the rotor space enclosing the camshaft and the rotor is harmless, so that the The uppermost part of the interior of the pump housing located above the camshaft can even serve as a suction space for the circulating fluid. With such an arrangement, it is also no longer critical to completely prevent the passage of small amounts of circulating liquid through the annular gap between the piston of the plunger pump and the cylindrical wall of the guide bore surrounding it. Overall, this results in a particularly simple, compact and economical construction method.
Advantageous further configurations of the pump devices are described in the subclaims.
If the pump device is designed so that the camshaft is arranged under the pistons in the operating installation position of the pump housing and the uppermost section of the interior of the pump housing serves as a suction space for the circulating liquid, it is expedient for the camshaft and the rotor of the canned motor to enclose it To fill the rotor space up to the end portions of the plunger pump pistons which protrude into the rotor space and which is immiscible with the liquid to be pumped and which has a density which is at least 10% and preferably at least 20% higher than that. As far as the pumping device is intended to serve 3 -containing aqueous liquid for promoting NH, nated hydrocarbon can be used as a lubricant advantageously a single-phase mixture of silicone oil and liquid halog ß, which has a density of at least 1.3 g / cm 3. Suitable halogenated hydrocarbons are, for example, tetrachlorethylene, pentachlorethylene, iodobenzene and bromotrichloromethane.
In the following, a preferred embodiment of the pump device is further explained with the aid of the attached drawing. The single figure shows a schematic cross section through a pump device for an absorption heat pump operated with an aqueous NH 3 solution.
The pump device shown has a
The
The canned
The upper section remaining in the interior of the
In operation, the canned
Since the
When selecting the lubricant, it is essential that on the one hand it does not contain any components that are soluble in the liquid to be pumped and that would lead to difficulties in the circuit. On the other hand, the liquid to be pumped should not contain any components that are soluble in the lubricating oil, which impair the lubricating effect or lead to corrosion or other damage in the area of the rotor space or the moving parts. In order to largely avoid any mechanical mixing of the liquid to be pumped with the lubricant, the lubricant should have a density that is sufficiently higher than that of the circulating liquid. For absorption heat pumps operated with NH 3 -containing aqueous liquid, a mixture of silicone oil and liquid halogenated hydrocarbon with a density of at least about 1.3 has proven particularly useful as a lubricant.
The pump device explained above with reference to a preferred embodiment can be modified by the person skilled in the art in various ways depending on the requirements of the individual case, in particular the shape and dimensions of the
