Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Einbringen eines Anfahrstrangkopfes eines Anfahrstranges in die Durchlaufkokille einer Horizontalstranggießanlage sowie eine Horizontalstranggießanlage zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.The invention relates to a method for introducing a starting strand head of a starting strand into the continuous mold of a horizontal continuous casting installation and a horizontal continuous casting installation for carrying out the method.
Bei einer Horizontalstranggießanlage mit einer an einem Verteilergefäß befestigten Durchlaufkokille stellt das Einführen des Anfahrstranges in die Kokille eine problematische Arbeit dar, u. zw. aus mehreren Gründen. Die am Verteilergefäß lösbar montierte Kokille nimmt je nach Lage des Verteilergefäßes unterschiedliche Lagen gegenüber der ortsfesten Strangführung ein, so daß der über die ortsfeste Strangführung in die Kokille eingeschobene Anfahrstrang nicht genau mit dem Kokillenhohlraum fluchtet. Es ist notwendig, den Anfahrstrang, insbesondere den Anfahrstrangkopf, leicht anzuheben bzw. abzusenken, um eine Kollision des Anfahrstrangkopfes mit den Kokillenseitenwänden zu vermeiden. Da die Kokille am Verteilergefäß befestigt ist, läßt sich nach dem Einfädeln des Anfahrstrangkopfes in die Kokille die am Anfahrstrangkopf befestigte Dichtung nicht mehr kontrollieren. Beschädigungen dieser Dichtung können nicht mehr festgestellt werden, und es ist die Gefahr gegeben, daß ein Strangdurchbruch zu Gießbeginn erfolgt, wenn es beim Einfädeln des Anfahrstrangkopfes in die Kokille zu einem Anstoßen des Kopfes an einer Seitenwandkante gekommen ist.In a horizontal continuous casting machine with a continuous mold attached to a distributor vessel, the introduction of the starting strand into the mold is problematic work, u. for several reasons. Außerdem muß infolge dieser Nachkühler der Anfahrstrangkopf relativ weit weg von der Kokille zum Zweck des Hebens bzw. Sodann wird derAnfahrstrangkopf 17, der zuvor von derAnfahrstrange 16 getrennt wurde, in die Kokille eingefädelt, welche Manipulation einfach durchzuführen ist, da der vertikal an einem Kranhängende Anfahrstrangkopf 17 leicht in eine mit dem Kokillenhohlraum 9 fluchtende Lage eingependelt werden kann. Zur Erleichterung dieses Vorganges könnte beispielsweise ein den Anfahrstrangkopf ausrichtender Einführtrichter vorgesehen sein, der an die Kokille ansetzbar ist.
