- the invention relates to a lock, placed on a cabinet or cupboard door in the vicinity of a framing rim of an opening of this cabinet, comprising on the one hand a rotary actuator accessible from the exterior and rotating in a body integral with the door about an axis perpendicular to the plane of the latter, and on the other hand an interior movable lock which is associated with the operating member and with a "return spring" which communicates a rest position, this lock having an inclined ramp capable of cooperating with the rim so that the lock first performs a backward movement by compressing the spring when the door is subjected to a force exerted in the direction of its closing and then performs a movement in the opposite direction which engages it under said flange, the opening of the lock necessitating the introduction of a key or a tool into the operating member.
