Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuel injection pump according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a fuel injection pump is known from DE-AS 23 22 858, in which the parts causing the stroke, such as pistons, rollers, tappets and springs, are arranged individually in the bushing are. This individual arrangement is problematic because it reduces the stability of the pump and requires a repair because of the large number of individual parts.
- the invention is based on the idea that the plunger moves on all sides and this accommodates the other parts in the manner of a cage.
- the rigidity of the hollow cylinder i.e. the wall of the plunger is raised and that, in particular, the assembly consisting of piston, spring and plunger does not fall apart during assembly and disassembly.
- FIG. 1 shows a diagonal section through a fuel injection pump according to section II in Figure 2;
- Figure 2 shows an axial section in the delivery area of the pump according to section II-II in Figure 1;
- 3 shows a diagonal section in the area of the baffle ring according to section III-III in FIG. 2;
- FIG. 4 a section of a second variant of the impact ring;
- FIG. 5 the plunger in a spatial representation with an elongated hole.
- a fuel injection pump of FIGS. 1 and 2 is designed as a radial piston pump with a bushing 11 fastened in the pump housing 10, in which a slide 12 driven by a shaft, not shown, is rotatably and axially displaceably mounted.
- a cam ring 13 has a plurality of inwardly directed cams 14 and is also driven by the shaft via a flange 15.
- Four plungers 9 are also guided in bores 17 of the bushing 11 and have a blank cylinder 20 and a base 18 with a groove 19.
- a roller 21 is rotatably mounted, the cross section of the groove 19 being a circular surface section with the same radius as that of the roller 21 and the depth of the groove 19 being greater than the radius of the circular surface section.
- Each of the four plungers 9 leads in a bore 17 and is arranged coaxially with a piston 16.
- a coil spring 22 is supported on the one hand on the bushing 11 and on the other hand on a spring plate 23 which is blown into the piston 16.
- the piston 16 is pressed against the inside of the tappet 9, so that the roller 21 always bears against the raceway 24 of the cam ring 13.
- a locking ring 25 made of sheet metal and produced by punching is attached to a hub 26 by means of a snap ring 27 and has a plurality of fingers 28 which are axially directed with respect to the slide 12.
- a slot 29 is arranged parallel to the stroke direction, and in the end face of the bush 11 a total of four openings 30 are arranged such that one opening 30 corresponds to one slot 29, so that a finger 28 of the Circlip 25 engages through slot 30 in slot 29.
- a plurality of metering bores 31 are arranged radially in the bushing 11, and a supply groove j3 in the slide 12 connects a metering bore 31 with the displacement 32 of each bore 8.
- a distributor groove 33 'in the slide 12 connects the displacement 32 with a branch channel 38, the connection with injection nozzles, not shown.
- FIG. 3 shows the impact ring 36 which is inserted into the annular groove 35 of the bushing 11 and which consists of two identical halves 37. Each half has an inwardly facing hook 39 and an outwardly facing hook 40, both of which can be locked together.
- the impact ring 46 shown only in sections in FIG. 4 consists of two halves 47 and 48.
- the two hooks 50 of one half 47 are directed radially outwards, and the two hooks 49 of the other half 48 are directed diagonally inwards, so that both halves are also lockable and form the baffle ring 46.
- the plunger 89 in FIG. 5 has the bottom 78 with the groove 19 and the hollow cylindrical wall 80.
- Two elongated holes 79 are formed in this at two diametrical locations, the longitudinal extent of each elongated hole 79 being arranged in the stroke direction.

Abstract
