Claims (10)

1. A door having a surrounding frame (1) and a single and multi-part door leaf (3), in particular a sectional door leaf which is movable overhead and is composed of a plurality of panels (4) which are articulated one onto the other in succession and which are mounted, by means of rollers, in lateral guide rails each of which comprises a vertical portion extending parallel to the lateral frame member and a horizontal portion connected thereto by an arc, the door being able to be locked in relation to the surrounding frame in the closed position by means of a manually actuated lock unit (5) which has a spring locking device (8) in the region of the lateral frame member, characterised by a rotary catch (10), the pivot (13) of which is disposed transversely to the longitudinal direction of the lateral frame members (2) and which has at least two recesses (14, 15), in one (15) of which a spring bolt (11) engages when the door leaf (3) is in the closed position, and the other (14) of which is open radially of the pivot (13), which radial opening (16) is aligned, when the rotary catch (10) is in the open position of rotation, with a locking bolt (12) which is held in this recess (14), secure against sliding out, in the closed position of rotation.
2. A door as claimed in Claim 1. characterised in that the rotary catch is constructed in the form of a locking disc (10) and that the spring bolt (11) and the locking bolt (12) extend substantially parallel to the pivot (13).

A door as claimed in Claim 2, characterised in that the pivot (13) of the locking disc (10) is mounted in a bracket (9) which is secured in a lateral edge region of the door leaf (3), in which also a longitudinal displacement guide (17) for the spring bolt (11) is constructed, which guide comprises a housing for a spring which acts on the spring bolt (11) in the direction of displacement towards the locking disc (10).
4. A door as claimed in one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the rotary catch or the locking disc (10) comprises, at a distance from the recess (15) to receive the spring bolt (11) in the direction of the path of rotation, a detent position (18) for the spring bolt (11) released in preparation for the engagement.
5. A door as claimed in one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the locking bolt (12), secured to a lateral frame member (2), of the rotary catch provided only in one of the two lateral regions of the door leaf (3) has a head (19) of widened construction behind which the edges of the associated recess (14) engage in the closed position.

A door as claimed in one of the Claims 4 or 5, characterised in that, to enable installation selectively at the right-hand or left-hand inner region of the door leaf, the locking disc (10) is provided with two recesses (14, 14') to receive the appropriately disposed locking bolt (12), and two detent positions (18, 18') are provided disposed in mirror symmetry in the direction of rotation to the recess (15) to receive the spring bolt (11).
7. A door as claimed in one of the Claims 3 to 5, characterised in that, to enable installation selectively at the right-hand or left-hand inner region of the door leaf, the locking disc is provided with two recesses to receive the spring bolt, together with associated detent positions.
8. A door as claimed in one of the Claims 3 to 7, characterised in that, to enable installation selectively at the right-hand or in the left-hand inner region of the door leaf, the bracket (9) is provided with two bearing positions for the pivot (13) of the locking disc (1).

A door as claimed in one of the preceding Claims with selective operation by hand or by means of an electric-motor drive, characterised in that disposed on the shank of the spring bolt (11) is a projection - for example a ring (20) which can be pushed on resiliently - between which and the spring bolt guide (17) of the bracket (9) a space is kept free in the unlocking position, in which space a spacer. In particular a longitudinally slit sleeve of resilient plastics material, is inserted in the case of operation by an electric motor.
10. A door as claimed in Claim 9, characterised in that disposed on the bracket (9) is a holding means (21) for a cable line, the cable core of which is connected to the lock rod (7) actuating the spring bolt (11).
