Description

The invention relates to a plaster thickness profile for insulating plasters, with a profile edge designed as a pull-off edge and two diverging legs extending from the latter, which are designed as expanded metal fields and serve to fasten the profile strip to a building wall by means of mortaring.

Such profile strips, which with a trained as a pull-off edge and extending from this diverging extending legs Form of mortarable expanded metal fields are known. The pull-off edges are, seen in cross-section, U-shaped and usually have legs that run parallel to each other, to which the diverging expanded metal panels adjoin as fastening legs, and are connected to one another at their ends remote from the expanded metal panels via an arcuate web section.

Before plastering wall surfaces, it is known that such profile strips are mortared in the correct position on the structure, to which the plastering compound is applied, for example sprayed on, and then pulled off over the profile edges of the profiles, which are generally referred to as plaster profile strips. When using such plaster profiles cei insulation plaster, the consistency of which is very different from the so-called normal plaster, the problem of an inadequate backfilling arises, particularly in the area of the pull-off edges, with the result that condensation forms in the areas not completely filled with plaster and as As a result, corrosion damage can occur, which in the form of rust marks in the plaster over time.

Accordingly, the object of the invention is to improve the previously known plaster profile strips in such a way that they can also be used for insulating plasters.

The problem is solved in a profile strip of the type specified at the outset by a cross-sectional roof-shaped formation of the pull-off edge from two narrow strip strips which extend in the longitudinal direction of the strip and which run at an opening angle at least equal to the opening angle of the diverging legs which are designed as expanded metal fields. When dimensioning the expanded metal fields with a comparatively large mesh size, which is not a problem, this measure ensures that the pull-off edge is securely backfilled with plaster, even if, as is usual with insulating plasters, it is provided with granular or spherical insulating material supplements because of the comparatively large size opening angle between the strip strips forming the pull-off edges, even such particles can penetrate from the back to the roof-shaped pull-off edge.

In principle, the most varied of opening angles can be realized within the scope of the present invention between the strip strips forming the pull-off edge and having a small width. However, it has proven to be particularly advantageous if the opening angle between the strip strips forming the pull-off edge is equal to twice the opening angle between the fastening legs designed as expanded metal fields.

In schematischen Ansichten zeigen:

An embodiment of the invention will be explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In schematic views show:
  • Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a section of a plaster thickness profile and
  • FIG. 2 is a partial cross-sectional view of the profile strip with the viewing direction according to arrow II in FIG. 1.

The profile strip 10 shown in a perspective sectional view has a profile edge 11 which is roof-shaped and consists of two narrow strip strips 12, 13 running in the longitudinal direction of the profile strip. Attachment legs 14, 15, which are designed as expanded metal fields with a large mesh size, adjoin these strip strips 12, 13.

In contrast to plaster profile strips of known type, in the plaster thickness profile illustrated in the drawing, the opening angle denoted by 16 between the two narrow strip strips 12, 13 forming the profile edge 11 is selected to be twice as large as the opening angle denoted by 17 between the one following the said strip strips, fastening legs 14, 15 designed as expanded metal fields. Moreover, the width 18 of the strip strips 12, 13 forming the profile edge 11 is small in comparison to the length of the fastening legs indicated at 19 in FIG. 2, so that when the plaster material is sprayed on, the back area of the profile edge 11 can be easily filled.
