Definitions
- the invention relates to a valve device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the pressure of the consumer supplied by the compressor is used to act as a shut-off pressure on sealingly displaceable actuating elements of a clutch when a certain value is reached, which actuators actuate the compressor with the output, ie with the drive or Crankshaft of the compressor connects.
- the cut-off pressure is able to disengage such clutches, which consist, for example, of multi-plate clutches, so that the compressor comes to a standstill while the drive is still running, thereby avoiding unnecessary compressor operation.
- the clutch is generally engaged automatically, with the aid of spring assemblies etc., in such a way that the drive connection between the drive and output of the compressor system is established and the compressor is closed again starts to run and starts up after a certain time.
- This start of the com pressors occurs against considerable resistance, ie the piston of the compressor must be started against the pressure remaining in the pressure chamber of the compressor after switching off.
- This start-up takes place against the back pressure of the compressor, which is why, due to the increased resistance torque, relatively large springs are required for the frictional connection of the clutch.
- These strongly dimensioned springs lead to a comparatively large design of the coupling, which makes use in cramped conditions, such as in a motor vehicle or the like, difficult.
- the object of the invention is to design a pneumatically controlled compressor shut-off clutch of the generic type in such a way that the compressor can be started up against a low starting resistance; in particular, it should be possible to keep the design of the coupling small.
- the pressure chamber of the compressor is vented via a ventilation line which opens into the suction chamber of the compressor and is thus connected to the suction connection that is open to outside air. This type of venting is particularly beneficial as the normal one wise venting noises with open venting are largely eliminated.
- Both the pressure regulator of the control device and the vent valve can be arranged in a structurally compact manner in a common housing which is connected with the interposition of a heat-insulating seal with the housing receiving the pressure outlet or the outlet port of the compressor. It is thus possible to detach the control valve device comprising the vent valve and the pressure regulator from the compressor or the pressure port of the same.
- the pressure regulator of the control valve device is preferably provided with an adjusting screw in order to thereby determine both the cut-off pressure for the clutch of the compressor and the point in time at which the pressure chamber is vented.
- FIG. 1 of the drawing shows a compressor which is connected to a drive 3 by means of a disk clutch 2 or multi-plate clutch which is loaded by compression springs 1 in the closing direction.
- the drive 3 is designed as a V-belt pulley connected to the housing-like input part 4 in a rotationally fixed manner, which is driven in a manner not shown via V-belts by a drive motor, for example the drive motor of a motor vehicle.
- the disc clutch acts against an output 5, which partially passes through the bearing cap of the compressor and is connected to the drive shaft of the compressor in a manner not shown.
- At least three compression springs 1 pass through the disk or disk pack of the disk clutch 2 at the same angular distance from one another and are each guided in a sleeve 6.
- the individual sleeves are open on the left side as shown and support the compression springs 1 on the right side as shown.
- the sleeves 6 are supported by a radially projecting flange on a pressure plate 7, which carries a plurality of pressure bolts 8 at the same time.
- At least three such pressure bolts 8 are provided at corresponding angular distances between the compression springs 1 and are supported on the right end as shown by an intermediate ring 9 on a roller bearing 10.
- the intermediate ring 9 and the part of the roller bearing 10 which bears against it are guided axially displaceably and rotatably in a recess 11 in the bearing cap of the compressor.
- the recess 11 goes on as shown right end in an annular space 12, in which a sealing ring 13 serving as an annular piston is sealed and axially displaceably mounted.
- a channel 14 opens into the annular space 12, which also runs in the bearing cover of the compressor and / a control line 15 is connected to the control valve 16 according to the invention which is explained in detail below.
- the channel 14 extends obliquely to the axis of the bearing cover, so that it intersects the annular space 12 and ends blindly opposite to its pipe connection. It can be closed there, for example, by a plug 17.
- the disk or disk set of the disk clutch 2 is non-rotatably, but axially displaceably coupled both to the input part 4 and to the output part 19 belonging to the output 5 and rotatably mounted via a roller bearing 18 in the input part.
- the output part 19 is rigidly connected in a conventional manner to the conical part of the output 5 and is therefore connected to the drive or crankshaft of the compressor, not shown.
- a reduction gear or the like can of course also in a manner not shown. Intermediate element inserted.
- An intermediate ring 20 is arranged between the sealing ring 13 and the part of the roller bearing 10 facing it, which is guided in a non-rotatable but axially displaceable manner in the bearing cap of the compressor by means of a wedge guide.
- the compressor connected to the disk clutch becomes rotating when the V-belt pulley shown as drive 3 rotates via the input part 4, which is brought together by the compression springs 1 quantity-pressed disk or disk pack of the disk clutch 2, the output part 19 and the output 5 driven in such a way that the compressor runs with a certain power consumption. If the pressure in the compressed air tank fed by the compressor via the control valve 16 has reached a certain limit value, then this pressure acts on the sealing ring 13 via the control line 15 connected to the compressed air tank in the manner described below, such that the sealing ring 13 is shifted to the left as shown becomes.
- the pressure plate 7 is also displaced to the left against the force of the compression springs 1 via the intermediate ring 20 and the roller bearing 10 and the intermediate ring 9 and the pressure bolts 8 resting thereon, so that the pressing of the disk or disk pack of the disk clutch 2 canceled and the disc clutch 2 is thus disengaged.
- the drive connection between the drive 3 and the compressor is thus interrupted, ie the compressor stops when the drive 3 continues to rotate.
- the control valve 16 connected to the control line 15 is connected via a connection 21 to the pressure port of the compressor, which in turn opens into the pressure chamber (not shown).
- the connector 21 The passage 23 through the control valve is connected to the consumer via the pressure connection 24 and optionally a compressed air tank (not shown).
- a check valve 26 which acts in relation to a valve seat 25.
- a channel 27 branches off at the front of the check valve and a further channel 28 at the rear of the check valve, as viewed in the flow direction with respect to the check valve.
- the channel 28 (FIGS. 2 and 3) opens into a chamber 29 of a pressure regulator 30 of a construction known per se.
- the pressure in the chamber 29 acts on the end face of the regulator piston 31 shown in FIG.
- the pressure present via the channel 28 acts against a switching piston 37 of a ventilation valve 38 which is likewise arranged in the housing of the control valve and in which a spring-loaded sealing body is pressed against a valve seat 40.
- a vent line 41 which in the from the plunger of the Sealing body penetrates bore and which has a connection 42 (FIGS. 1 and 2) on the outside of the housing of the valve arrangement.
- the vent line 41 continues - starting from the connection 42 - in the manner shown in FIG. 1 and opens within the suction chamber of the compressor, to which a suction connection 43 open to the atmosphere is connected.
- the suction port 43 is connected via the suction chamber of the compressor and the vent line 41 connected to it to the port 42, which in the manner described below with the vent valve 38 open via the channel 27 to the channel 23 and accordingly to the pressure port 22 of the compressor in Connection came. In this way, the pressure chamber of the compressor can be vented.
- control valve / vent valve and pneumatically controlled compressor shut-off clutch works as follows:
- the pressure in Connection 36 also acts, as explained above, on the switching piston 37 in such a way that it lifts the sealing body 39 from the valve seat 40.
- the compressed air which is under high pressure in the pressure chamber of the compressor after the compressor has come to a standstill and is present via the connection 21 in the channel 23 (with the check valve 26 closed), can get into the connection 42 as a result of the opening of the vent valve 38.
- the port 42 is vented via the vent line 41, the suction chamber of the compressor and the suction port 43, that is, that the pressure chamber of the compressor is vented when the predetermined cut-off pressure is reached. Venting takes place via the suction chamber of the cylinder head of the compressor, since venting noises are avoided.
- the annular space 34 of the pressure regulator 30 is connected via a connection (not shown) to the annular chamber 44 of the pressure regulator receiving the spring 32, this annular chamber in turn via the connection 35, only shown schematically, to the connection 36, the control line 15 and the annular space 12 connected is.
- the pressure regulator 30 is in the manner of a " designed lossless "pressure regulator, that is, when the regulator piston 31 is again pressed sealingly against the valve seat 33 (due to the tensioning of the spring 32), then the regulator piston opens a vent opening (not shown) in the area of the adjusting screw of the pressure regulator shown in FIG. 2, and thereby a free vent connection to the annular space 12 of the disk clutch 2 is established.
- the compression springs 1 are able to re-engage the disk clutch 2 due to the pressure reduction in the annular space 12, such that a connection is established between the drive 3 and the output 5 and thus with the drive shaft of the compressor.
- the pressure chamber of the compressor was vented when the consumer cut-off pressure was reached and is accordingly in a vented, ie depressurized state, even when the disk clutch is re-engaged and the compressor is restarted. Accordingly, the compressor can be started without back pressure, which enables a small design of the disk clutch, in particular in the design of the compression springs.
- the vent valve 38 is of course again in the closed position due to the lower consumer pressure, i.e. that the channel 27 is closed and when the compressor starts up again normally via the channel 23, the check valve 26 and the pressure connection 24 (with the consumer connected) is promoted.
- a heat-resistant seal 45 which is shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, is located between the housing receiving the channel 23 and the housing receiving the vent valve 38.
- This enables the valve arrangement to manufacture from pressure regulator and vent valve in a structural unit and to connect to the compressor or the cylinder head of the same without additional aids.
- the invention is also implemented in the context of an arrangement in which the individual parts of the control valve are separated from one another; in the same way, instead of the disk clutch 2, another construction suitable for such clutches can be used.

Abstract
Description
- Figur 1 ist eine teilweise geschnittene Seitenansicht eines Kompressors mit einer mit der Regelventileinrichtung pneumatisch steuerbaren Kompressor-Abschaltkupplung;
