Description

The invention relates to a foulard with a wrapping roller for a textile web to be treated with a trough for receiving a liquor, which is metered from the trough to the web lying against the wrapping roller, a doctor blade being held against the wrapping roller by magnetic force and possibly Guide rollers are provided for the web.

Such a foulard is described in AT-A-360 485. There, the rotatably mounted doctor blade dips with its lower part into the fleet located in the trough. Its upper part rests on the web, which in this area is in turn held against the wrapping roller over guide rollers along a predetermined distance. The fleet is therefore transferred from the trough via the doctor blade to the outer surface of the web. Due to the fact that the doctor blade is held in contact with the wrapping roller with magnetic force, there is a gap for the fleet application which is constant over the length of the doctor blade. For many applications, however, this fleet order is still unnecessarily high.

In many cases, such as B. when fixing dyes by two-phase processes, it is important to apply only small amounts of liquor to the printed material, for example textile fabrics and knitted fabrics, to achieve a sharp state of the contours and to avoid reflections on the white background. So that the prints do not flow during the fixing process, large amounts of inorganic salts are added to the fixing liquors, which reduce the solubility of the dyes. The amount of liquid really necessary for dye fixation is considerably lower than that with the usual methods, e.g. B. applied with a foulard total liquid. The option of applying only the small amounts of liquid required would not only mean a saving in the chemicals used, but also a significant reduction in the wastewater pollution caused by the excess liquor.

Also in other work processes, for example in the pretreatment of goods or finishing processes, it is advantageous to apply only small amounts of liquor, since in the subsequent drying steps, much less water has to be evaporated and thus the energy consumption can be reduced considerably, or in the subsequent washing processes a significant reduction in Waste water pollution reached.

The invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a foulard with which an adjustable and as small a quantity of liquor as possible can be applied in a metered manner to the web to be treated in the foulard.

Starting from a foulard of the type mentioned, this is achieved according to the invention in that the liquor is transferred from the trough to the wrapping roller and from this to the web, that the doctor blade is in direct contact with the circumference of the wrapping roller, in the transport direction of the fleet in front of that point , on which the web touches the wrapping roller, and in that a plurality of adjacent recesses is provided on the contact surface of the doctor blade which is in contact with the wrapping roller.

The fleet thus has sufficient time to be distributed evenly on the surface of the wrapping roller after it has been transferred from the trough to the wrapping roller. Before the fleet is applied from the circumference of the wrapping roller to the web, the liquor film adhering to the circumference of the wrapping roller is finely metered by the doctor blade with its recesses there. The cutouts act as passages for the liquor, while the liquor is practically not let through in the area between the cutouts, specifically over the entire length of the doctor blade or the wrapping roller. A depth of a few hundredths of a millimeter is generally sufficient for the cutouts. The depth and the width of the recesses are selected in accordance with the respective intended use, so that an optimally adapted doctor blade is available for each intended use. The liquor film on the wrapping roller can be evened out again via the between the doctor blade and the point of impact of the material web on the wrapping roller.

To achieve the magnetic attraction between the doctor blade and the wrapping roller, a magnet is provided in the wrapping roller below its surface in the area of the doctor blade, which extends over the length of the doctor blade. The magnet can be a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. If an electromagnet is used, it preferably has an adjustable magnetic force. The magnetic force of a permanent magnet can also be adjusted, for example by changing the distance of the relevant pole of the permanent magnet from the doctor blade.

For this purpose, it is preferred if the magnet can be adjusted in the circumferential direction of the wrapping roller, as a result of which the magnetic force is then also set in the case of a fixed doctor blade.

If a flat doctor blade is used, it should be designed with a comb-like profiled contact surface.

In the case of a circular doctor blade, this should have a thread-like profile because it is easier to manufacture than a possible profile with tangential grooves.

It promotes the solution of the invention task, if at least one support roller with adjustable contact pressure is applied to the wrapping roller. The support roller is preferably adjustable in the circumferential direction of the wrapping roller. It can easily be adapted to the absorbency of the textile. This makes it possible to further influence the amount of liquid transferred by providing the support roller on which the textile material has the amount of liquid applied to a desired extent, i.e. more or after a more or less long dwell after the doctor blade, on which the liquid film can even out less complete, absorbs.

The support roller can also be held on the wrapping roller with magnetic force.

The contact pressure of the support roller can be set by a pneumatic system acting on it.

The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments, from which further important features result. It shows
  • Figure 1 is a view of a flat doctor blade according to the invention.
  • Figure 2 is a view of a circular doctor blade according to the invention.
  • Fig. 3 shows schematically a side view of a foulard according to the invention.

First, the basic structure of the novel foulard is described with reference to FIG. 3.

A textile fabric web 2 is fed to a wrapping roller 3 via a guide roller 1. The wrapping roller 3 dips into a trough 6 with a continuously adjustable fleet level. The excess liquor taken along is removed by a doctor 4 according to FIG. 1 or 2. Depending on the design of the doctor blade, a defined amount of liquor remains on the wrapping roller 3, which is transferred to the textile web.

The doctor blade 4 is pressed against the wrap roller 3 by a magnet 5. The magnet is a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. The doctor blade is therefore made of an iron alloy.

The textile fabric web is pressed against the wrapping roller 3 by support rollers 7, the support pressure of the support rollers also being generated by a magnet 8 or by a pneumatic system.

The textile material web is removed from the wrapping roller 3 via a guide roller 9.

As shown in Fig. 3, the textile web 2 is fed via the guide roller 1 to the counterclockwise wrap roller 3, the excess liquor entrained by the wrap roller being wiped off by the doctor blade 4 according to Fig. 1 or 2. The pressure rollers 7 and the squeegee 4 are pressed by the magnets 8, 5 to the wrapping roller 3.

It is possible to change the contact pressure of the support rollers 7 or the doctor blade 4 by pivoting the magnets 5, 8 in such a way that the magnetic zenith of the magnet in question is displaced to the rollers or doctor blades. The magnets are pivoted by means of a special adjusting device in the direction and in the angular region of the arrows 12.

The contact pressure of the support rollers 7 can also be varied by changing the number of rollers attached. Furthermore, the lay-on rollers can be pivoted in order to achieve an earlier or later pressing of the goods onto the wrapping roller 3.

There is also the possibility of varying the wrapping of the roller 3 by changing the positions of the guide rollers 1 and 9, which can also achieve an adjustment in the amount of liquor taken up.

The magnets are, for example, permanent magnets or electromagnets, in order to be able to adjust the contact pressure of the doctor blade or lay-on roller to the wrapping roller.

A cleaning device 10 for the wrapping roller can be provided, which continuously removes the impurities from the wrapping roller behind the guide roller 9.

The foulard described can, for. B. a damper, a dryer or another successor can be connected.

Dasselbe gilt für die Einschnitte der Rundrakel nach Fig. 2.The comb-like incisions of the flat doctor blade according to FIG. 1 are a few hundredths of a millimeter deep. The amount of liquor can be metered through the variation possibilities of the gap depth and the ratio of the width of the webs to the gap width. The same applies to the incisions of the circular doctor blade according to FIG. 2.

In the case of a circular doctor blade according to FIG. 2, a roller with a cut thread or a wound wire can be used, the wire being expediently arranged in the form of a helical line. An appropriately engraved roller can also be used. It is also possible to slide rings onto a roller, which are suitably arranged obliquely so that a uniform application of liquid takes place. Here, too, there are possibilities for variation by designing the pitch and depth of the thread and, in the case of the thread being designed as a trapezoidal thread, by extending the upper boundary line of the trapezoidal cross section. Fig. 2 shows a schematic view of such a circular doctor blade with a cut thread.

The flat doctor blade according to FIG. 1 can be attached stationary or can be moved back and forth for the uniform transfer of the moisture film.

The circular doctor blade according to FIG. 2 can be carried along by the wrapping roller or driven independently. In the latter case, the circumferential speed of the circular doctor blade can be about that of the wrapping roller speak or be different, i.e. run slower or faster. Reverse drive of the circular doctor blade is also possible.
