Abstract

1. Curling means for shaping, setting and combing the hair with a heating rod (1) fixed to a handle (9) and a curling member which can be placed on the heating rod (1) and whose casing has openings (28), at which strands of hair wound onto the same come zonally into direct contact with the heating rod (1) and which on casing parts between the openings (28) carries radial projections in the manner of prongs, pins or bristles, characterised in that the curling member has long, coarse projections (23) and between these also short, fine projections (19, 20, 21), the coarse projections (23) projecting by a multiple over the fine projections (19, 20, 21) with respect to their length and thickness.
