Definitions
- the invention relates to a push-button drive for pushbutton switches with a restoring force-loaded mushroom button, the mushroom stem is slidably guided in a housing and is provided with a rest and operating position catch, which can be canceled by turning the mushroom button.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of improving a push button drive of the type mentioned above in such a way that deliberately outwitting the push button drive with regard to the power cut-off by turning the mushroom button is impossible.
- a push-button drive of the above-mentioned type is achieved in that a latching plunger spring-loaded transversely to the direction of actuation of the push-button drive is provided in the housing, which is flanked on both sides in the direction of displacement of the mushroom stem at least in the area of the rest position of anti-rotation edges on the mushroom stem.
- This function can be enabled without additional parts because the locking plungers serve as protection against rotation.
- the turning of the mushroom button to unlock the push button drive can be done with relatively little effort if the rest of the locking plunger on the mushroom stem is in the operating position and after it has been rotated on one and the same lateral surface of the mushroom stem.
- the outer surface of the mushroom stem that is in contact with the locking plunger after depressing and rotating the mushroom knob merges into the outer surface of the mushroom stem in the direction of actuation
- the locking plunger is formed by a slider with sharp edges in the area of the anti-rotation edges.

The invention relates to a push button drive for push buttons. This pushbutton switch is provided with a mushroom button (11) loaded with restoring force, the mushroom stem (10) of which is displaceably guided in a housing and has a rest and operating position catch which can be released by turning the mushroom button (11). A latching plunger (8) which is spring-loaded transversely to the direction of actuation of the push-button drive is mounted in the housing (2) and is flanked on both sides in the direction of displacement of the mushroom stem (10) at least in the area of the rest position by rotation-preventing edges (14) on the mushroom stem (10). This makes it impossible for the non-specialist to unintentionally outwit the push button drive.
Description
The invention relates to a push-button drive for pushbutton switches with a restoring force-loaded mushroom button, the mushroom stem is slidably guided in a housing and is provided with a rest and operating position catch, which can be canceled by turning the mushroom button.
In a known push button drive of the type mentioned above, a noticeable counterforce is overcome when the mushroom lock button is pressed. After this pressure point is exceeded, the power requirement is reduced, the switching process is inevitable with jumping behavior. The locked position, ie the operating position catch can be released with this push button drive by turning the mushroom button. The mushroom button returns to the rest position. This known push button drive fulfills the demands made by professional associations and the technical surveillance association with regard to foolishness if the mushroom button is simply depressed, since - as already mentioned - jumping behavior is achieved by a corresponding rest. However, if the switch is turned in the unlocking direction before being depressed, it can be outwitted, ie the opener of the emergency stop button can be opened without the push-button drive going into the operating position lock. The present invention is therefore based on the object of improving a push button drive of the type mentioned above in such a way that deliberately outwitting the push button drive with regard to the power cut-off by turning the mushroom button is impossible. This is easily done at A push-button drive of the above-mentioned type is achieved in that a latching plunger spring-loaded transversely to the direction of actuation of the push-button drive is provided in the housing, which is flanked on both sides in the direction of displacement of the mushroom stem at least in the area of the rest position of anti-rotation edges on the mushroom stem. This function can be enabled without additional parts because the locking plungers serve as protection against rotation. The turning of the mushroom button to unlock the push button drive can be done with relatively little effort if the rest of the locking plunger on the mushroom stem is in the operating position and after it has been rotated on one and the same lateral surface of the mushroom stem. With regard to the force for the required resetting of the push button drive, it is advantageous if the outer surface of the mushroom stem that is in contact with the locking plunger after depressing and rotating the mushroom knob merges into the outer surface of the mushroom stem in the direction of actuation To avoid operating position locking, it is advantageous if the locking plunger is formed by a slider with sharp edges in the area of the anti-rotation edges. In order to be able to develop the rest position detent, which determines the jumping behavior for the push button drive, to the best possible extent, it is advantageous if the detent plunger head is rounded in the actuation direction and the rest position rest ends at an incline of approximately 45 °.
If an intermediate stop is provided between the rest position and the operating position, which is arranged in such a way that the current is switched off when it is engaged, there is the advantage that direct return of the mushroom button is not possible with short actuation paths after the pressure point has been exceeded. The intermediate rest is a break in of the rest plunger in the intermediate rest when resetting the mushroom button preventing partition, it is prevented that the intermediate rest can be approached when resetting.

The push button drive shown in Fig. 1 is used to actuate the symbolically shown push button 1, which are connected in a conventional manner to the housing 2 of the push button drive via a bayonet connection, not shown, and are clamped to the front plate 4 by means of screws 3.
