Abstract

A slide (2) in the housing (1) can move along a switching path (S) from a quiescent position into a switched position and back. The locking function is achieved by means of the interaction of a pin (6), supported on a moving bearing (8), with a guide curve (5, 13) which on the one hand has a locking step (b) and on the other hand, in the movement direction of the slide (2), has a linear extension (13) in which the pin (6) rests in the quiescent position of the slide (2). In order to simplify a space-saving design and functional movement it is provided that the bearing (8) can move parallel to the slide (2) between a first and a second position. It is further provided that, in the quiescent position of the slide (2), when the bearing (8) is located in the first position (Fig. 2a), the switching path (S) is shorter than the distance (A) of the pin (6) from the locking step (b) and is greater than said distance (A) when the bearing (8) is located in the second position (Fig. 2b). <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to a key switch according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a key switch is known from CH-PS 595 687. It has the advantage that two different switches do not have to be made for the pushbutton and one for the latching function, and the consumer has to keep them in stock. The latter can set the pushbutton switches according to the desired function when they are used. In this known push button switch, in addition to the groove-shaped heart curve provided for the latching function, a linear groove-shaped curve is provided for the button function. Depending on the desired function, the pin is inserted in one or the other of the two curves. The arrangement of two groove-shaped curves parallel next to each other takes up a lot of space. In addition, the pin is difficult to access with microswitches and it is only possible to see if it is in the correct curve if you look very closely.

The object of the present invention is to improve a pushbutton switch of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be carried out in a space-saving manner while maintaining its advantage, and the changeover can be carried out in a simple manner in the form of a microswitch.

  • Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch einen Tastschalter,
  • Fig. 3 eine Abwicklung der Herzkurve.
The invention is explained, for example, with the aid of the attached schematic drawing. Show it:
  • 1 shows a longitudinal section through a push button switch,
  • Fig. 2 seen a detail of Fig. 1 in the direction of arrow II, with parts broken away and
  • Fig. 3 is a development of the heart curve.

The switch shown in the drawing essentially has a housing 1 in which a slide 2 is axially displaceably mounted. The slide 2 is firmly connected to the pressure hood support 3 and is in its rest position (shown in solid lines in FIG. 1), in which it is held by an upward spring force and rests against an invisible stop on the inside of the housing. With the housing 1 there is also a switching element 4 (indicated by dash-dotted lines) in which the switching contacts are accommodated. If the slide 2 is pressed in by a pressure on the pressure hood support 3 by the switching path S, it actuates the switching contacts accommodated in the switching element 4. On the outside of the slide there is a curve 5 in the form of a groove with which a pin 6 is engaged. The pin 6 is part of a lever 7 which is hooked with its upper hook-shaped end in a bearing 8 and is pivotally mounted therein. The bearing 8 designed as a bearing eye is formed by a leaf spring 9 into which a shoulder 10 is molded. The leaf spring 9 generates a force acting on the lever 7 which keeps the pin 6 in contact with the bottom of the curve 5. The leaf spring 9 is held with a friction fit in a guide groove 11 on the inside of the housing and between the position shown in solid lines on the one hand and the position shown in broken lines on the other movable on the side. If, for example, a shoulder 10 is pressed by means of a screwdriver, the leaf spring 9 moves upward from the position drawn with solid lines into the position shown in broken lines. The bearing 8 slides relative to the housing 1 or the slide 2. Above the bearing 8, the leaf spring 9 has an opening 14 which is intended to snap into a locking lug 12 arranged on the inside of the housing when the leaf spring 9 has the same dash-dotted lines assumed position. In this embodiment, the latching cannot be released, which means that the leaf spring 9 cannot be reset. This latching connection can, however, also be omitted if the friction fit of the leaf spring 9 in the guide groove 11 is sufficient.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, a linear section 13 adjoins the heart-shaped curve 5 at the bottom, which is so long that in the rest position of the slide 2 the pin 6 is always in this extension, regardless of whether the bearing 8 is in the lower or the upper position.

The depth of the curve 5 (including the extension 13) varies and has different levels, as its development in Fig. 3 illustrates. If you follow the extension 13 from point a upwards and clockwise around the heart-shaped curve 5 back downwards, the bottom of the groove rises until a falling stop step b. From there, curve 5 runs to a descending step c, after which it rises again to a descending step d. Then it rises to a level e, after which it falls back to point a.

If the bearing 8 is in the position shown in FIG. 1 (with solid lines) and FIG. 2A, the switching path S of the slide 2 is smaller than the distance a of the pin 6 from the detent step b. If in this storage position the slide 2 is pressed downwards by the switching path S, the pin 6 only moves in the curve 5 up to the point f and returns to the point a after the slide 2 is released. The slide 2 does not snap into place. If the bearing 8 is shifted to the dot-dash position in FIG. 1 (FIG. 2b), the switching path S of the slide 2 is greater than the distance of the pin 6 from the detent step b. Now, when the slide 2 is pressed down by the switching path S, the pin 6 follows the left branch of the curve 5 and exceeds the detent step b. When the slide is released, it moves upwards and the pin 6 follows the curve 5 to the bottom right and exceeds the descending step c. After this stage, the slide 2 engages with the pin 6 and prevents it from returning from the switching position to the rest position. The slide 2 is locked. If the slide 2 is now pressed a second time and this is then released, the pin 6 continues to follow the curve 5 clockwise and successively exceeds the descending steps d and e until it reaches the starting point a in the extension 13 again. Depending on whether the bearing 8 is in its upper or lower position, the key switch thus has a latching or key function.
