Claims (5)

1. A stopper of the kind which comprises a cap (1) able to be screwed to the neck (3) of a bottle, and a seal (2) connected with the interior face of its top by means of a chimney (1f) on the latter, the seal (2) being designed to bear against the end face (3c) of the said neck (3), characterised in that the central part (1 b) of the top of the cap (1), from which the chimney (1f) starts, is dished outwardly so as to increase the height of the chimney (1f).
2. A stopper according to claim 1, characterised in that the chimney (1f) is made as a flexible tubular partition in the shape of a truncated cone which penetrates into the neck and includes a free rim (1 g) which is spread outwards.
.. 3. A stopper according to claim 2, characterised in that the lip (2b) of the seal (2) is sufficiently long to allow it to be applied by the cap (1) against the outer edge of the rim (3c) of the neck (3).
4. A stopper according to claim 3, characterised in that the seal (2) is made from ethylene acetate (E.V.A.) so that when once it is shaped by the action of the neck it retains this shape.
5. A stopper according to claim 4, characterised in that its cap (1) is made from polypropylene.
