Description

The invention relates to a device for introducing bottles into folding box-like cardboard containers.

It is known and to a large extent customary to pack six bottles of wine in cardboard containers which are made from a folding box blank. It is also common practice to reopen such packages before they are shipped to the end user, in order to exchange individual or multiple bottles for those containing a different type of wine, depending on the end user's order. It is important to make sure that the bottles are in pairs in two rows of three pieces as evenly and tightly as possible in the cardboard container to avoid damage in transit. So far, it has been customary to insert or remove the bottles vertically from above into the cardboard container while it is standing on its one end wall (bottom) and the other, upper end wall (lid) is open.

The invention has for its object to provide a device for introducing bottles into boxes, which enables safe and firm packaging of the bottles in the boxes. Furthermore, the invention has for its object to provide an aid in the form of a packing table of such a design that the work of packing and also repacking bottles in boxes is facilitated and at the same time a particularly tight and tight fit of the bottles in the boxes is achieved.

According to the invention, these objects are achieved in that the device has a tiltable device (tilting box) with the following features:
  • The tilting box has two side walls, a rear wall and a bottom wall. Its top and front are open and its internal cross-section, looking towards the floor, is dimensioned so that it can hold one or more boxes in a row. One or more rectangular bases protrude from the bottom wall of the tilting box, the height of which corresponds at least to the length of the unfolded bottom wall parts of the carton and the length, width and position on the bottom wall are selected such that between the bases and the side walls and the rear wall in each case a gap allowing the inclusion of the unfolded bottom wall parts remains free. The tilting box is provided with a tilting bearing with a horizontal, fixed axis, so that the tilting box can be tilted from an almost vertical position by up to 180 ° to an inverted vertical position.

  • Fig. 5 shows a tilting box for a device for three boxes in a row in front of the side insertion of the boxes in a perspective view.
  • 6 shows the same tilting box after the cartons have been pushed in and pushed down into the tilting box,
  • Fig. 7 shows a tilting box in a side view with a roller and a fixed counter-roller, which cause the cartons to automatically erect on the floor surface when the tilting box is pivoted back into the starting position.

In Fig. 1 is the table surface of the packing table. A vertical wall 2 is attached to this. The wall 2 carries an axis 4 which extends parallel to the packing table surface 1. 5 is the tilting box with the side walls 6, 7, the rear wall 8 and the bottom wall 9. The rear wall 8 is provided with a tilting bearing 10 (or several tilting bearings) approximately halfway up. The tilting box 5 can therefore be tilted from the approximately vertical position shown in FIG. 1 on the packing table surface 1 in the direction of the arrow to an inverted approximately vertical position. A rectangular base 11 protrudes from the bottom wall 9 of the tilting box into the interior of the tilting box, in such a way that a gap-shaped intermediate space 12 remains free between the base 11 and the walls 6, 7, 8.

Anhand der Fig. 2, 3 und 4 soll nun erläutert werden, in welcher Weise der Kippkasten 5 des Packtisches als Hilfsmittel beim Verpacken und Umpacken von jeweils sechs Weinflaschen benutzt wird.2, 3 and 4 will now be used to explain how the tilting box 5 of the packing table is used as an aid for packing and repacking six wine bottles each.

As shown in FIG. 2, the bottles are inserted into the tilting box in the position shown in FIG. 1. Then the cardboard container 20, which is open on its lower end face (and not, as is usually the case on its upper end face adjacent to the bottle heads), is pushed into the tilting box from above, as shown in FIG. 3, and thereby placed over the bottle heads. In Fig. 3 an intermediate position is shown, in which the cardboard container is only half inserted; In the end position of the cardboard container there are the folds 21 of the folding walls 22 of the folding box blank, which serve to form the one end wall of the cardboard container, approximately at the level of the top of the base 11, and the opened folding walls 22 lie next to the side walls of the base or in the gap-shaped space 12 between the base and the walls 6, 7, 8 of the tilting box. Then the tilting box, as indicated in Fig. 1 by a circular arrow, about the axis 4 ge pivots until it assumes a position such as that shown in FIG. 4. In this position, the cardboard container has partially slipped out of the tilting box, so that one edge 23 of that end wall of the cardboard container which is adjacent to the bottle heads can touch the packing table surface 1. The cardboard container can then be tipped over the edge 23 and placed on the packing table surface 1 with a closed end wall. Now can be used to form the other end wall of the cardboard container folding walls, one of which is shown in the drawings and designated 22, brought into the closed position and the like by (not shown) adhesive tapes. be closed.

The cardboard container can have, in its end wall adjacent to the bottle heads, a support opening designated 24 or a push-in flap which is pre-punched on three sides and which releases the rectangular support opening when pressed in.

Just as for packaging bottles in cardboard containers, the auxiliary device of the described packing table can also be used for unloading cardboard containers or for repacking or exchanging individual fish of a cardboard container. For this purpose, the filled cardboard container, after its end wall adjacent to the bottle bottoms has been opened by loosening and folding up the folding walls 22 forming it, is placed with the closed end face on the packing table surface 1 - in FIG. 1 to the right of the tilting box 5. Then the tilting box is brought approximately into the position shown in FIG. 4 and the cardboard container is tipped over the edge 23 resting on the packing table surface 1, placed in the tilting box, pushed against the bottom thereof, so that the folding walls 22 are put over the base 11, and the tilting box tipped back into the position shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3. Thereafter, the carton container 20 is withdrawn upward from the bottles, which, if a carrying opening 24 is present, can be used to facilitate the withdrawal. Now, according to FIG. 2, freely accessible bottles, depending on the respective requirements or the respective order of a customer, one or more can be exchanged for those that receive a different type of wine, and then the changed assortment of six bottles can be repeated , as described above, are packed by in turn putting the open cardboard container over the bottles in the tilting box and, together with the tilting box in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 1, being brought into position on the packing table surface 1 to the right of the tilting box, in which the open Cardboard container end closed and the like with adhesive tape. can be secured.

Eine Rolle 14 ermöglicht im Zusammenwirken mit einer Gegenrolle 15, wie in Fig. 7 gezeigt, das automatische Aufstellen der Kartons auf der Bodenplatte beim Zurückschwenken des Kippkastens in die Ausgangsstellung.5, an empty tilting box of a packaging machine is shown in a perspective view, into which three cartons, each with six bottles, are introduced laterally by a feed device, not shown. After inserting the cartons, as can be seen in FIG. 6, they are pressed down until the bottle heads touch the top wall of the cartons and the tilting box is pivoted by approximately 150 °. A roller 14, in cooperation with a counter roller 15, as shown in FIG. 7, enables the boxes to be automatically set up on the base plate when the tilting box is pivoted back into the starting position.

A somewhat modified embodiment of the tilting box of a packing table according to the invention is that the tilting box has a front wall in addition to the two side walls, the rear wall and the bottom wall, so that only its top is open, and that between the front wall and the base in in the same way a gap remains as between the base and the side walls and the rear wall. Such an embodiment of the tilting box is particularly recommended if the packing table is to be used in connection with automatic packaging machines of a known type, or the like, with the aid of suction cups. Grab six bottles at a time and put them down or drop them together from top to bottom. So far, such packaging machines have been used to insert the six bottles into a carton standing on its one end wall (bottom), the other, upper end wall (lid) of which is open. Now, according to the invention, on the other hand, the bottles are inserted from above into the tilting box, and only then is the carton, with its one open bottom side, placed over the bottle heads and pushed completely over them and into the tilting box from above, as further above in Described in connection with Fig. 2. This procedure enables a particularly tight and tight fit of the bottles packed in the cardboard container, no matter how loose and with what mutual distances the bottles have stood in the tilting box on its base before the cardboard container is slipped on and pushed on.
