Abstract

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Verbrennen von Kohlen­ staub mit einer in eine Nachverbrennungskammer (7) hin­ einreichende Primärflamme (3), welcher der Kohlenstaub beigemischt wird, soll die Verbrennung des Kohlenstaubes und die Entfernung dar Rückstände verbessert werden. Die Nachverbrennungskammer (7) besteht aus einem Ring­ kanal (6) dessen Ringachse (32) vertikal und quer zur Achse der Primärflamme verläuft. An beiden Stirnseiten des Ringkanals (6) ist je eine Austrittsöffnung (11; 12) vorgesehen. Ein den Ringkanal (6) koaxial durchsetzendes und beidseitig überstehendes Innenrohrstück (13) mit Durchbrüchen (25) beeinflußt die Verweildauer der Flamm­ gase im Ringkanal.
