Claims (3)

1. Verfahren zum Sägen von Steinen und dergleichen mit Hilfe einer Kettensäge, die mit angesetzten Schneidplättchen (5a bis 5f) aus Wolframkarbid versehen ist, die jeweils in einem Hohlraum entsprechenden Querschnitts derart mechanisch arretiert (6a bis 6f, 7) sind, dass das Plättchen nach dem Entarretieren zum Vergleichmässigen des Verschleisses um einen geeigneten Winkel verdreht werden kann, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kette hintereinanderliegende, jeweils eine grössere Zahl von Kettengliedern (1 a, 2, 1 b, 2, ... 1f, 2) umfassende Folgen von Kettengliedern aufweist, dass die geometrischen Achsen (8a bis 8f) der verschiedenen Plättchen und infolgedessen auch der zugehörigen Hohlräume so verlaufen, dass diese Achsen die Kettenachse (9) in gleichbleibendem Abstand von dem zugeordneten Plättchen treffen, dass jede dieser Achsen gegenüber der Achse des vorangehenden Kettengliedes um die Kettenachse um einen immer gleichbleibenden Winkelbetrag verschwenkt ist, dass die Schneidflächen der Plättchen in an sich bekannter Weise an Ort und Stelle mit synthetischem Diamant belegt werden, dass die Plättchen so angeordnet sind, dass sich ein negativer Schnittwinkel von 3 bis 6° ergibt, und dass die Plättchen die Form eines Rotationszylinders oder eines polygonalen Prismas mit Mehrfachsymmetrie aufweisen.
2. Kettensäge für Steine oder dergleichen, zur Ausübung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1, mit hintereinanderliegenden Kettengliedern (1a, 2, 1 b, 2, ... 1f, 2), von denen mindestens einige (1 bis 1 f) Schneidplättchen (5a bis 5f) tragen, wobei jedes plättchentragende Kettenglied (1 a bis 1 f) als einheitliches massives Teil ausgebildet ist und einen Werkzeughalter (4a bis 4f) besitzt, in den mindestens ein Hohlraum geschnitten ist, der eines der Schneidplättchen (5a bis 5f) aufnimmt und sich zum Aussenrand hin öffnet, um zumindest den Schneidbogen dieses Plättchens freizugeben, und wobei eine Druckplatte (6a bis 6f) und eine Arretierschraube (7) die Arretierung des Plättchens oder der Plättchen in dem zugehörigen Hohlraum ermöglichen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Hohlräume kreisförmig oder polygonal geformt sind, und dass die Achsen (8a bis 8f) dieser Hohlräume auf die Achse (9) der Kette unter dem erwähnten negativen Schnittwinkel von 3 bis 6° treffen.
3. Kettensäge nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass hintereinanderliegende Folgen von Kettengliedern (1 a bis 1 f) von sich wandelnder Form vorgesehen sind, und dass die geometrischen Achsen (8a bis 8f) der verschiedenen Plättchen oder Hohlräume, wenn man sie sich als durch Verschiebung längs der Kettenachse zurückgeführt auf ein bestimmtes Kettenglied vorstellt, als gleichmässig von.einander entfernt liegende Erzeugende (8, 9) eines Rotationshalbkegels angeordnet sind, dessen halber Spitzenwinkel gleich dem erwähnten negativen Schnittwinkel von 3 bis 6° ist.
