Die vorliegende Patentanmeldung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Transportverpackung für Caiciumcarbid zum Einsatz in dosierten Kleinmengen.The present patent application relates to a method for producing a transport packaging for calcium carbide for use in metered small quantities.

Bisher ist es üblich, Calciumcarbid in kleinen Mengen portioniert in Metalltrommeln abzupakken, wobei je Trommel etwa 100 kg Calciumcarbid enthalten sind. Nachteilig ist hierbei, daß die Trommeln wegen ihrer runden Grundfläche beim Transport die Ladefläche auf dem Fahrzeug nur unvollständig auszunutzen gestatten. Darüber hinaus müssen die leeren Trommeln wegen ihres relativ hohen Anschaffungspreises vom Verbrauchsort zum Befüllort zurücktransportiert werden, was insbesondere bei im Ausland gelegenen Verbrauchsorten beträchtliche zusätzliche Frachtkosten verursacht. Aus der DE-C-2 033 160 ist zwar eine Vorrichtung zum Dosieren von feuchtigkeitsempfindlichen Feststoffen wie Calciumcarbid bekannt, bei welcher mehrere, in ihrem Oberteil quadratische und an ihrem unteren Ende konisch auslaufende Behälter verwendet werden, wobei diese Behälter gleichzeitig zum Transport und zur Lagerung des Calciumcarbides dienen und wobei jeder Behälter etwa 1000 kg Calciumcarbid faßt. Es ist Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Transportverpackung für Calciumcarbid in Kleinmengen anzugeben, bei welchem unter optimaler Ausnutzung der Ladefläche des Transportfahrzeuges auf teure metallische Emballagen verzichtet werden kann und die Carbidmengen genau dosiert sind. Das wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß man eine Vielzahl von mit einer vorgegebenen Menge Calciumcarbid gefüllte, verschlossene Beutel aus Kunststoff-Folie, vorzugsweise Polyethylen-Folie, mit einer Dicke von 0,05 bis 0,4 mm und einer flächenbezogenen Masse von 50 bis 400 g/m2 in mehreren Lagen übereinander in eine auf einer Palette befestigte, aus Mehrfachpappe hergestellte Schachtel einpackt und anschließend die Schachtel verschließt; daß in die Schachtel eine Ringeinlage eingestellt ist, welche an den vertikalen Innenwänden der Schachtel mit Ausnahme der Bereiche ihrer Ekken anliegt; daß in jeder Ecke der Schachtel ein sich von ihrem Boden bis zu ihrem Deckel erstreckender Rohrabschnitt steht, wobei die Rohrabschnitte von der Ringeinlage unter Stabilisierung ihrer Lage tangiert werden; daß die Schachtel äußere Boden- und Deckelverschlußklappen aufweist, welche sich gegenseitig vollständig überlappen; daß man auf die Oberseite der verschlossenen Schachtel einen Abdeckrost auflegt; daß man die verschlossene Schachtel, den Abdeckrost und die Palette in Längsrichtung und/oder Querrichtung mindestens je einmal mit einem Band umreift; daß man nach der Umreifung die Schachtel, den Abdeckrost und die Palette mit einer eine flächenbezogene Masse von 55 bis 460 g/M 2 aufweisenden Schrumpffolie überzieht sowie die Schrumpffolie durch Anblasen mit Warmluft einschrumpft; und daß bis zu drei mit Schrumpffolie überzogene Paletten, Schachteln und Abdeckroste übereinander stapelbar sind.It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing transport packaging for calcium carbide in small quantities, in which expensive metallic packaging can be dispensed with and optimal use of the loading area of the transport vehicle and the amounts of carbide are precisely metered. Eine aus mehreren Schichten Pappe 1 aufgebaute Schachtel 2 ist mit einer Rücksprung-Zweiwege-Flachpalette 3 (vergl. DIN 15 145, August 1977) fest verbunden. In die Schachtel 2 ist eine Ringeinlage 4 eingestellt, welche an den vertikalen Innenwänden der Schachtel 2 - ausgenommen der Bereich ihrer Ecken - anliegt. In den Ecken der Schachtel 2 stehen jeweils Rohrabschnitte 5, welche vom Boden bis zur Decke der Schachtel 2 verlaufen. In den Eckbereichen tangiert die Ringeinlage 4 die Rohrabschnitte 5, wodurch deren Lage stabilisiert wird. Auf der verschlossenen Schachtel 2 liegt ein Abdeckrost 6 auf. Die Schachtel ist auf eine Rücksprung-Zweiwege-Flachpalette aufgeklebt. In die Schachtel werden 200 Polyethylen-Beutel (Länge 36,5 cm, Breite 28,5 cm, Foliendicke 0,1 mm), welche mit jeweils 5 kg Calciumcarbid gefüllt und gasdicht verschweißt sind, in mehreren Lagen übereinander eingepackt. Nach dem Verschließen der Schachtel wird auf ihre Oberseite ein Abdeckrost aufgelegt. Abdeckrost, Schachtel und Palette werden zweimal in Längsrichtung und einmal in Querrichtung mit Stahlband (Dicke 2 mm, Breite 20 mm) umreift, bevor sie mit einem Schlauch aus Schrumpffolie (Dikke 0,2 mm) überzogen werden.
